Wow I’m impressed!! I am a Luthier ( guitar builder) I build the full size versions of this and many many other styles to order. I have been building Electric and Acoustic guitars for 40 yrs. and I gotta say: you have given some real detail to your work. You left nothing out. I am so impressed and proud of you for doing such a great job. Just awesome!!! Thanks for a great video. EPK Waveluth Guitar Studios
Hey Chicken, I made a drum kit using pop bottle lids for the snares, snuff cans for the basses and washers for the symbols. For the stands I used BBQ skewers and small wooden round pieces I found at Hobby Lobby to stands. It looked pretty good. I also made bongos from old medicine bottles. I painted them silver and black and made a KISS display for my KISS figures. It looked pretty good. Let your imagination go crazy. Oh, and I built a gong with stand out of the skewers, wooden pieces while cutting out the bottom of a Pringles can and some wire. I think you may like the outcome.
Thank you for doing a proper tutorial by explaining every detail on what you’re using, how you’re doing it and why! Too many on here play music instead of explaining a stinking’ thing! They need to learn how to be thorough or don’t post.
As a Luthier i find most of your practices amazingly close to the actual build of an actual stratocaster guitar, including all of your knowledge of the names to each of the separate, actual parts in the construction. it almost felt like an actual build on a micro scale for the woodworking part. Only on suggestion on the over all finish, is to get in there with a 2000 grit sandpaper after the colour and clear coat to really make it stand out. Amazing video, keep up the great work.
GIRL !! YOU ARE AMAZING !! I grew up in the music business and I can tell you that I got to see MANY of the real thing and this is nostalgic to me !! GREAT VIDEO !!
This is EXQUISITE, Cath!!! The time and effort you put in the videos explaining your tutorials is SUPERB!!! Thank You for the INSPIRATION and the IDEAS that follow!!! KEEP UP THE A-MA-ZING WORK!!!
I'm a guitarist, not an arts and crafts person, but this not only looks tedious, but is way more difficult than meets the eye. She made it look easy, but the same can be said about playing guitar, until you try it and find out how much goes in to playing well. Very nice job. Good attention to detail and I have to think you are familiar with the instrument and possibly play. If not, still great job either way.
CATH!!! You really outdid yourself on this one. The level of detail you put into this absolutely incredible! Seeing the work on the tuner pegs alone is mind-blowing. I'm going to have to try this and make several! And wow, I never knew the names of all the parts of the electric guitar. There's so much to this! Fantastic tutorial as always!
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Been playing the guitar for 32 years. Basicallyy whole life, my other passions are wood carving and model building. Gotta try this. Thank you for making this video.
I love this video I can not wait to try it out I want to make for my dad, he used to play the guitar, he lost his index finger due to cancer, I think he'd get a kick out of this. Thank you so much for the tutorial.
He still tries, he tells me it hurts, I guess he needs to build up the calluses on his fingers again. He's on youtube if you want to check out his songs.
Thank you!!! It’s so much fun for me too 😊 I wish I could create way more content for you guys but I have a full time job so I’m only able to work on projects and create videos during my free time. 💕
Excelente trabajo!!! Admirable paciencia, habilidad y destreza!!! Desde Córdoba Argentina te mando un fuerte abrazo y muchas bendiciones para todos ustedes 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm guitar builder and I can say you are a very talented young lady. You've pretty much built a real guitar just tiny haha so cool. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
On top of being super crafty you have a super calming voice. Its so soothing to sit and listen. 🎶 like making happy little guitars. You are the Bob Ross of the miniature world. I'm hooked.
Once again, amazed at your work! I am so happy you finally posted it! Yay! This defiantly made my Tuesday! Edit: What are you doing next? I can’t wait!
How a person could say don't like of this vídeo? She doenst forgot any detail. One hour i thought she will open the miniature to build the circuits and a cable to the jack and voila!Lets play!Perfect work,m'am!Just perfect.
From one miniaturist to another, one GIANT (but very small high five)! BRAVO, this is a great guitar, and you have a great accent.. I am so relaxed, I can't feel my legs!!!! 😂👍🏻🎸
I never mastered learning to play the guitar, but I was in love with this beautiful, glittery blue electric guitar that was in the window of the local music shop for a few years when I was a teenager. Now I could have one like it, but for almost free and I wouldn't need to feel guilty about it just sitting there not being played!
Thank you for this video! My wife is a craft person and she was amazed at your talent and the subject! Our sons are musicians and she is going to try and do a few of these for them!
Came across your video. Not only is the product that you tuned out so incredible, but the quality of this video is top notch! You have a great voice and the whole thing was smooth! I was transfixed with all of the detail you put into these tiny instruments.
I thought you had stopped uploading videos and came to your channel to look up the wardrobe tutorial and now I see that I'm not subscribed anymore. UA-cam is pissing me off. 😞
OMG as a guitar player for 27 yrs these are freaking amazing.. the attention to detail you put in these little guitars is top notch. it kinda makes me think you might play guitar your self lol, great video !!
Why did I watch this? For those who think they want to do this but are not arts and craft people - DON'T. The list of materials in this is extensive. The fact you will be using so little of them you will have so much left over. Also the final cost of these is will be outrageous given the supply costs. Last, but not least, consider your talent level. This person is very good at what she does and has a lot of experience. Don't expect yours to come out as nice. Will you be satisfied with a mediocre final product? Think before you leap. Now if you are one of those arts and craft people or have most of this stuff lying around and have talent - this is an awesome tutorial.
SEI TROPPO BRAVA E GENIALE!!!Ho rivisto questo video tantissime volte, rimango sempre incantata dal risultato finale... voglio provare a farle anch'io,sei davvero d'ispirazione, grazie mille per quello che condividi con tutti noi!!!
Wow! There’s so many steps to making this. And you made it look so easy in your video. I like that you pay attention to details. There are so many little details that you didn’t miss showing to us. Thank you!
The video is well worth watching, I am glad to have stumbled across it. The miniaturization achieved with great skill. Although, there is one thing that can possibly be done, which will give the finish an extra lift in visual appearance. The tongue depressor and the popsicle stick are made from very open grain wood. This prevents a smooth mirror like finish of the guitars, plus the size of the grain "holes" in the finish also take away from the miniaturization scaling. Perhaps as the first step, use a wood or similar filler on the wood to obtain a smooth no grain surface, which once sanded will leave a good surface to work upon.
Love the detail! Would love to see a complete music room with drums, keyboard, banjo, mics, amps etc, etc. Am I asking too much? You make it all look so easy. Very impressive!

What made me giggle is that she attached a temorany neck to hold the body while painting 😂😂
As a (bad) guitar player, I really appreciate the attention to detail. These are things that people who are in to guitar will absolutely notice.
🎉😢🎉😢😢😢❤😮❤
That is some insane attention to detail. As a guitar player I also really appreciate you using the proper terms for the parts of the guitar
My brother is a musician with a band and uses his guitar frequently ... this would be a wonderful gift for him. It’s fantastic!

Sophia Housen sorry. I imagine he misses playing like he used to. I think it would be a cool gift. Maybe it will encourage him to find a way to play.
He still tries, he tells me it hurts, I guess he needs to build up the calluses on his fingers again. He's on youtube if you want to check out his songs.
Sophia Housen what is his name? I'll check it out

An eye for detail would be such an understatement! Well done!!!!
Your videos are my favorites! I wouldn't have thought of using zip ties in miniatures. How do you come up with these ideas?
Haha just a lot of brainstorming and wandering around my craft room looking at everything and anything that can be used ;)
Excellent work on those miniature guitars. As a player for more than 55 years I find these to be quite good.
This is amazing!!! Now my dolls are whispering to me that they want to learn guitar... 🎸
Hold on, wait a minute! Did your dolls actually say that they want to learn how to play the Electric Guitar?
😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@0ff topic guy in the words of Sam Kinnison oh! ohhh! ohhh!!!!!!
Awesome! I finally found a use for the box of popsicle sticks I got for Christmas.
This is quite brilliant.
The wood needed to be sanded with much finer sandpaper - it appears very rough.
