- Ireland won a Triple Crown in 2004 kicking it off with this win against Wales in the old Lansdowne Road. Brian O'Driscoll's hair was a highlight but enjoy the best of the action from this classic match. #teamofus
Incredible to see how many of these Irish players still involved in the game whether it be coaching or punditry.
The problem with these videos is it makes me nostalgic for a time when Ireland was pretty average at rugby. Like look at the old Lansdowne, what a beautiful ground she was

Happy memories of the place but the facilities were nonexistent and it was always windy. If there wasn’t so many corporate tickets in the place these days, we might get some of the atmosphere back.
@@davidseanrussell4152 you're probably right, and I hope it doesn't reach a point where it gets dull because we're winning left, right and centre. Maybe not this six nations, but hopefully next year some of the other nations can land a bit of a challenge to Ireland just to give the competition a bit of substance. But then again, careful what I wish for lol

Scrum was far better back then. Formed up without delay. Ball in and out quickly and game goes on…
You could easily lose 5-10 minutes of a match to a single scrum back then, what are you on about?
