That infamous non- awarded try by Bob Deans in 1905 does not mean the ABs would have won that game. It could have been a 3-3 all draw if the conversion had missed. The ABs have won games controversially. The most recent being against the Wallabies last year when the ref awarded a scrum to them because the Aussie flyhalf was taking too long to kick the ball out and then scored the winning try.
An interesting point here about the first Welsh fifteen chosen to play England. I think it was at Blackheath. Wales only had 13 players and needed two, so asked if anyone in the crowd had played and could turn out. Two lads did so. The captain on that day was not chosen for the next Welsh game, but one of the two lads who turned out on spec was chosen to play for Wales in the following international!
1895 AB "originals" came over and thumped everyone ... before your poster boy in 1896 ... and one of your wins was disputable ... even the tackler (Morgan) agreed that we scored in 1905
From all the reports the All Blacks were given an absolute whipping in this game and were the laughing stock of world rugby for some years afterwards. NZ were absolutely caned in this game. They were forced to resort to cheating in the years afterwards .... like in 1978.
I don't see how a cyclops could open his "other eye" either, so I won't ask you to open yours .... two wins, one in dispute, the rest are all AB victories ... I was born in 1951 so have never seen Wales ever beat NZ ... too young for 1953 I guess
The referee cheated it was a try by Deans. NZ had trodden everyone else prior to Wales. Everyone in Briton knew that Wales were the last line of British pride, that the try was disallowed and because Wallace wouldve landed the kick giving NZ the win. the referee was definitely paid, it appears he wore his new bought suit to the game.
+Superni Ue The last win v the ABs was 1953.I'm beginning to wonder if the Welsh will ever win another test v NZ. Wales- NZ tests have become irrelevant, sadly.
It was actually 1978.How about we swap, you give us the win in 1905,and we will let you have the result in 1978.Now,we can't be fairer than that, can we?
Richard Scanlan But in 1905 we don't know in they cheated. In 1978 we are sure they did,we can see it. And swap it's impossible.Past is past and they were sure enjoyable matches, let's not ruin the game with petty quarrel.
The welsh national anthem. Best on the planet.
It gets me every time.
Love its kaupapa. Its message. Its spirit. The spirit of Wales.

That Ref must’ve been sweating by the end of the game.
71 years and counting for Wales last win against the all blacks .One if the longest losing streaks in all sport .
The try was scored. Othewise the crowd would have errupted at that tackle. Instead Silent...because a try had been scored against them
No, because they were waiting referee decision. Try not scored
The game was famously played in a "heavy, low mist". Most of the crowd saw nothing.
Lol. Everyone in aotearoa knows it was scored.
Everyone in Wales knows it wasn't. 🤣
I think Wales can have that one.

Seriously? You are still crying over 1905? Wanna talk abou the dice in 1978 and other cheats that allowed NZ wins in the 70s against Wales?
By the way, Gallagher admitted the loss
Shut up
A kiwi coaching Wales now, again, hows that going boyo

@@patriciatutaki3322 Three wins, the others were win of the All Cheating.
But it's okay, all the world knows how deluded a kiwi can be

Wales won fair and that's it
Proof? None. While is certain NZ cheated in 1979
