I'm sure the idea of an investment-Adviser might sound controversial to a few, but a new study by Motley-fool found out that demand for Financial-Advisers sky-rocketed by over 42% since the pandemic and based on firsthand encounter I can say for certain their skillsets are topnotch. @@GrandPrix46this is why l think losing a small amount of money in investing is a good thing, as it has learning value and helps prevents investors making bigger losses in the future
You need tell your viewers. By law REITs have to return 90% of revenue back to their shareholders. High inflation equals poor performance for reits. You need to tell your views the REITs specific business is . Medical REITs are way more stable then commercial real estate or cold storage REITs Thats why they have high yields. You focusing on Yields and not what individual companies business is.
And again with ORC, since I bought in the past year at $9.66 a share, the price drop since then has been very small and is fairly stable for nearly a year in a very difficult, high interest market, and the dividend payments are yielding nearly 14% for me, so even if they cut their dividend in the future, it will still be a worthwhile investment.
Even with the price drop, considering the interest rate hikes and a declining market, I hold a substantial portion of my portfolio in ORC. I like that they are a FL based mortgage REIT where properties are at a premium. I'll HOLD and see where it goes with a market correction, in the meantime I'll DRIP those div's into more shares and DCA down. The mortgage REIT sector is suffering across the board with the rampant spending by the current Admin, face the fact. I'll take Buffet's advice and "Be fearful when people are greedy and greedy when people are fearful."
Mpw has a very strong track record over time. It simply got caught overexposed in a bad interest rate enviorment at the same time two of their largest tenants had significant problems. They got greedy when times were good and have now gotten smacked around. They are very likely to work through their problems. The firms being shown here are permanent dogs
MPW will recover quite soon as the Steward auctions are underway and as the DIP lender, MPW is able to veto any payments paid out of Stewards assets. The 200 million shares sold shorts have a lot more to worry about.
Because of dividends, I first began investing in stocks. It's important, in my opinion, to be able to live off of dividends without selling if you invest and make other income in addition to payouts. It suggests that you may pass that down to your kids and give them a leg up in life. Over the years, I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks; I continue to buy more today and will keep doing so until the price drops even further.
Hearing from an experienced investor who has survived adversity and prevailed is always motivating. It may be frightening when your portfolio goes from green to red, but if you have invested in strong firms, you should maintain growing them and stick to your goal.
I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

GECC has done quite well in the past year, and has been fairly stable in its share price and its dividend payments, and so it looks fine from my perspective having just bought into this stock at just over $10 a share, and it is paying a very good dividend at $10, so even if the dividend payment drops again, it will still be good.
Dividend Bull, thanks for the video. Today, anything that earns dividends of less than 8% will not get one far due to the price of goods. Can you do a video on high dividend stock that are safe without the NAV erosion?
Let me get this straight- if someone was counting on this for income in their retirement and now may suffer because of mistakenly investing in it, you think that's a thing to laugh about?
If the yield isn't growing year over year, there is no point in adding it. All three of these stocks are the definition of "yield traps". Plenty of high yielding instruments for people to use for income, but three aren't on the list!
