Thank you for this collection of hymns. My mother was dying in hospice. We played this video for about 3 hours before she died. It was calming and I was able to sing some of her favourite hymns while holding her hand.

That's great! I actually started playing a lot of acoustic guitar when my sons were about that age. I noticed it calmed them down - so I played a lot because they were pretty wild!

It's old and uncommon; I joined every church where it was played during my first visit, particularly when members told me they couldn't remember when they had last heard it.

Thanks! I often do find that sense of peace when I'm playing. I mean each arrangement normally starts with the work of learning to play the song and but then at some point it becomes peaceful as I start to get it.
Thank you for sharing hymn music this way, so peaceful and comforting. This is more like the way Gospel music was when I was a child. We still sing the old hymns in this style in our Church, but it's rare to hear it on the radio. A lot of the Christian music has gotten too jazzed up. I really enjoy hearing your music.

Hi Josh. It’s a catholic hymn. I’ve only seen the late Pete Huttlinger play his arrangement. It’s on UA-cam. I have a lesson and tab of his but it’s challenging for my level 😀
