Hi Keith, I'm so glad you found my channel! That's great that you are beginning to learn guitar. I always recommend that new guitarists play maybe only 5-10 minutes a day but do that every day. If you do this and gradually work up to maybe 15 -20 minutes a day over about 3 months, you will improve quickly and your fingers won't hurt so much. I hope that helps!
