Every time I see one of your videos it reminds me I need to vacuum my vehicles. Another great video. I think this filter is the most neglected maintenance item.

Thanks for this extremely helpful video! A family of mice invaded the space above the cabin filter in my Xterra and removing the blower was the only way to get at it.

Thanks for the video! Saved me in this heat! I bought my Nissan new in 2012...when I opened the air filter compartment it was empty, no air filters. So maybe Nissan didn't install them in the first place? My problem was something fell in the dash vent and was rattling and sounded like it was going to break the plastic blades. Either way, I'm ordering filters today. Thanks for the great video, I was able to remove the problem debris.

This is a great video, and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to make this. How long does the air smell like cleaner/chemical after you do this?

You are very welcome. That's a great question. Maybe about a week; It fades as it's being used. Luckily, the cleaner doesn't smell too bad.

Thanks for your video! I can't really find a video for Nissan A/C cleaning. Would like to ask if it possible for such cleaning for a 2016 pathfinder? As the filter location is totally different, wondering if I can really clean it. Thanks!

Sadly, I don't have a Pathfinder to create a video on. The steps should be similar (within reason). If it's more convenient, you can just inject the cleaner through the drain plug and wait it out.

My frontier had no filters for 200,000 miles. When I discovered this I put them in, but that horse left the barn. I’m not sure I myself can get into the evaporator to clear out the smelly carnage. I wonder what Nissan will charge me to do it.

I'm noticing many Frontiers don't come with in-cabin filters...it's just odd for Nissan. Try using the cleaner, so if it helps.

After removing motor i was able to get a finger in there along the base of evaporator. There was sludge, though not a whole lot. Got some out with a few passes with Clorox wipe wrapped around my finger. Rest of grill felt okay.
When I searched for the drain plug underneath I discovered it to be inaccessible - trapped between the tank wall and a heater plate that guards the catalytic converter. I see in your video you don’t have a CC? Darn things. So I can’t tell if the plug is faulty.
I could spray a can of disinfectant into the evaporator and see if anything drips from bottom. What would you do?
      Thanks!!!

Yes. You can spray right on the evaporator, that's what I did in the video.

    Hello, excellent channel friend.
I have a question for you; I have a 2021 Nissan frontier that is making noise near the glove box as if it had bubbling water when I turn on the engine or when I have the a/c on, I hope you can help me know what it is or what I should do to eliminate that noise, thank you for your attention.

It's difficult to tell without troubleshooting. Could be water or it could be something else. Hard to say

I’ve got an 05 xterra but cannot for the life of me find the ac drain hose. Any tips?

Hmmmm...If you can't access it from below, try looking under the hood on the passenger side. It should be right on the firewall. Sadly, I don't have a Xterra to supply pictures.
