Awesome Video, really enjoy your content. Enjoyable voice aswell. Really helpful for improving as a Mistweaver. I got to the same build and was wondering what I was missing compared to conduits. These little explains and hints are tremendously good. Keep up the the great work! 👍🏻✌🏻
Because of your never ending willingness to step outside the mainstream, you give us different avenues to explore in our talents without feeling unsatisfied. This build minus one node difference, has let me keep MOH and blast right into 10's when I was struggling in 8's before. I kneel to you BigZ!!!
@@clockwork9011it’s fairly simple with the key talents everyone uses. You dispel one and then Renewing Mists the other for 8 seconds of Chi Harmony 50% increased healing. After you Thunder Focus Tea for instant Enveloping Mists heal for 7 seconds with 40% additional healing (or cast if no TFT). You now have your HOTs going with 90% increased healing with 5 seconds left on dispel cd. Fistweave until then or cast an instant vivify. Or you dispel and life cocoon the other until dispel is off cd. Or you dispel and use Chi’Ji for the shield and fistweave for the gusts of mists healing and instant enveloping mists proc. Or you revival. There’s quite a few ways to deal with those dispels. Just have to get comfortable with it. Master of harmony grants you two stacks of thunder focus tea so you should always be able to go with the first method.
The mist build just made monk healing crazy good, DPS, Massive aoe heals and a good amount of utility all in one spec. I will say though it seems a bit harder to master or understand than the conduit builds.
i ended up dropping the jade stomp because consuming thunder tea also gives u extra dmg-> healing. Picked up prolliferation and tear of morning also dropped sheilun's and use jade lightning for quick aoe heal (technically can do 3 Jade L in a row) so far up to +9s and im enjoying my build :) Also, I feel mending proliferation is very udnerated. Soothing mist into 2-3 envoloping mist and u could have the whole group with 40% + healing from you. When pre casted before AOE, HPs only dips a bit then back to full with vivifies..
Love the vid, the opener though? I would hella suggest stomp and then chi burst. Chi burst has such a high chance to reset stomp that it'd almost waste a proc to do it first.
@@ZucoWoW Biggest help I find with Chi Burst and the high chance to proc the stomp reset, is if your pugging and your tank pulls some mobs, stops, then pulls more and you already used stomp on the first location, it's almost guaranteed reset on chi burst, just so you can now place it down again on top of tank. Once I realised this and used it in rotation, it's helped me a lot more
I'd like to point out one tips people tend to forget with MW. Envelopping mist buff healing. So if you can anticipate dommage incomming you can prehot the DPS. During BFA for some boss you HAD to prehot. You can use the build share to do that and it could/should help when in difficult situation if you dont take Sheilun.
I tried a very similar build to this the other day as I wanted to see if I could pump some damage. Popped into a 10 GB to give it a try, and I didn't do any more damage than my usual conduit build. (was around 300k+ average which is exactly what I do as conduit - albeit 30%+ of my dmg was overwhelming force and the harmony dot so it was definitely doing stuff) I must be doing something very wrong. My build was a little different though as I couldn't handle dropping sheilun's as I was already a cd down from not being conduit. This was a pug so didn't wanna drop too much in the way of cds; if I do a guild key I might try this build and give it another go. Might load this one in and beat on some target dummies for a bit :D
Heya Zuco! Love from South africa ^^ Commented on the raid video too, tldr is there any variation you can advise on of a Rushing Wind Kick build for dungeons? I don't mind if its a bit behind the standard build, I just really like RWK and the regular RSK supporting talents ^^
I'd have to take a look into that... Most of the M+ builds rely heavily on healing through Ancient Teachings (the full 160%, not the unbuffed 30%). So, running RWK just hurts so much of the reliable healing you normally count on in dungeons. It would be a very different playstyle. You might end up running more of a caster build with Yulon ramps, etc, vs, Chi-Ji, since the Ancient Teachings healing will be so low.
This is where Peer Into Peace can be really helpful... Just stand back a bit from melee and channel Soothing Mist on ppl, then instant cast Vivify's or EM's... Focus on dispelling people and keeping the group alive... It's similar to the last boss in Ara Kara.
i love this build and im going to test it. but ive a question. why this build its not recomended in any page? only celestial conduit builds? are better?
This build is more difficult to pull off, and has a higher burden of execution. The Celestials build is pretty straight forward... Press Celestial Conduit, and enjoy the passive procs you get. But this build can do very well, especially in the dps department.
if i wanted to keep this playstyle basically the same in a raid format... knowing its not ideal.. but because i enjoy it... what are some talents id want to swap out?
Really debating doing this over the Rising Mist/Sheilun's Gift route. I like the Fistweaving as it's more fun to do, but people in the group dying feels bad, even with a Soothing Mist variant that I'm running.
@@Dextorian1908 Crackling Jade Lightning will actually hit all of the little dudes running around on that fight, including the ones that aren't really targetable. You can cheat a TON of healing from that... The other big thing is to basically spend the entire fight in range... Don't go into melee much... I'd just stay around the outside, keeping people topped off with healing and dispelling poisons on the most vulnerable allies. Getting into and out of melee makes the fight much more complicated.
No sheilunes gift in a m+ build is wild.. 3k io every season here. Good luck out there. The statue and soothing mists builds are mostly going the way of the dodo because their throughput is more beneficial in a raid setting than in m+. Even then, soothing mists has lost favor in raid due to alternative builds just putting out more overall healing while using less mana. I have yet to see another healer break 4mil hps (peak) on both the trash after the first boss in raid and the opening burst on queen.
Some guys was telling me to change my spec because he mained a monk. I was like ok, but I am testing a new build. At the end he said he was gonna copy my build.
It's the Ancient Teachings Talent. 160% of damage dealt heals. So if you use Thunder Focus Tea and Jade Stomp, you can then use your Crackling Jade Lightning (with jade empowerment) to deal with ridiculous damage and healing.
@@shaunybonny688 Yeah there's 2 components. The Hero tree gives you aoe damage in a line in front of you when you press RSK and other abilities... And you get more aoe damage if you pick certain talents in MoH.
Dont forget the stat prio for this build its not the same as celestial need to focus on Haste and Crit. I almost have none existend vers right now and doing very good healing without it
Read this. "Overwhelming force" hero talent doesn't heal, neither does damage harmony. +1 charge on Tea is meaningless if you use it on CD which is kind of nesessary. Soothing mist is very unpleasant to use if you dont know the dungeon by heart. CJL is also hard to use if you want to panic heal. Conduit forces you to take Sheylun balls which is fine but people ignore Lessons talent which is a very handsome buff when used correctly. Both hero trees are lackluster but blizzard is really inept at making the classes interresting, so compared to other classes it aint half bad. Conduit is still better to use with your build. The only thing you will miss is the +1 tea charge but you get quite a bit of compensation for that. Big consistent damage is very hard to aplly in high m+, especiallly on most bosses. Thats why healers are judged by utility and throughput these addon. Your build requires dungeon knowledge which casual players severely lack. İ will post my build later this night when i get home, we will discuss and make something perfect for casual players which also works in high keys, 12+ and preferably 14+. Also, your item level of 614 is very high for 10s. The idea is to heal +10 in 605 gear.
only problem here is youre not building your harmony and spending it correctly to increase damage or healing, statue is a waste of a global and talent point, SG is clutch and better than trying to keep revival off CD and get it back.. if you play harmony with a focus on its mechanic youll do more damage and have a smoother healing experience
