Thanks man! I just thought it would be fun to show some of the things i think of....ill definitely be on a dragmax again tho...shinko was the cheap answer for now
On my new road tires I take it easy for 80-100 miles. How many burn-outs and runs before you are comfortable with new rubber? Can you tell the difference in rubber compound or heat cycles from a new tire to an old 'tired' tire? Are Bumpy Truck Videos (TM) gone forever with the semi-attached mancave now??
Lol! Ill do a BTV soon! I don't really do anything special to break in a rear tire. Maybe a little longet burnout. Ive noticed a new rear is a little more forgiving than a well used rear...but for the first 3/4 of its life i dont notice much difference.
Its better all around. Some people say the dragmax is only good on SUPER prepped tracks. I had great luck with it on just our local average prep track. My bests were all on the dragmax. Its 100% more sure footed at speed
Yeah i can't say for 100% it worked better at say 8psi as opposed to 14psi on the same surface compared to the shinko.. they both just kinda want what they want. I can only say i feel the dragmax has a bigger window that works
I have not...i have only sen them chunk more often so ive just steered clear. Ive had good luck with the regular hook up and im excited to go back to a Dunlop
Very interesting video. Well shot and well explained.
The was an awesome an very creative vid man! Its insane how different these two tires are from each other!

Would you recommend either one for the street? ZX14R with a 130Lb rider. After it being streched the stock spring isn't letting me hookup at all
Both work good and i do like the drag max, but nothing will really make up for a bad shock....but a good shock can help a bad tire
Any guess or info for how many street miles you could get out of a dragmax?
Honestly, i couldn't tell ya.
You need to make/sell the axle alignment tool. Sell it to CycleGear to resell

How's your carbon fiber rim holding up to those tire changes? Thanks for any safety tips you can share to keep from scratching and chipping!
My rear wheel is actually just an 06 R1 wheel....looks cool, but i dont have carbon money yet, lol!
Bro I would of sworn that was a BST if you wouldn't of told me! Looking forward to what you posting next!
@@tpsfab quick question. Whats the weight of the r1 wheel compared to stock? Thanks
How does the dragmax compare to the shinko as far as 60 foot and et/mph?
Its better all around. Some people say the dragmax is only good on SUPER prepped tracks. I had great luck with it on just our local average prep track. My bests were all on the dragmax. Its 100% more sure footed at speed
@@tpsfab do you run about the same air pressure in the dragmax as the shinko?

Have you used the hookup pro?
I have not...i have only sen them chunk more often so ive just steered clear. Ive had good luck with the regular hook up and im excited to go back to a Dunlop
Is it the shinko hook up?
Yes i switched back to the hook up for a bit. Just for my wallet and availability case
@@tpsfab just got one thanks for the reply!
Why not use a 200/50/17 shinko? Jus asking
I only run a 6" rear wheel and dont get the full benefit of a 200. Its just heavier
That one dislike should watch it again.
Just bought 3 of them don't believe it🙄🙄🙄
