What an incredibly well-done lesson!! Including the play along, the best I have seen on the internet. Chord charts, strumming patterns, play along... Spectacular!!!
Just brings the FABLOUS late -60's thru early 1970's BACK in sharp relief. The SOULS back then really LOVED FIERCELY !!! Like NOTHING EVER SINCE ......
Your channel has been eye opening for me. You've turned me on to so many great thing I'd of overlooked or missed if you hadn't exposed me to them ( very light, but very sophisticated). I think what you do is great. Don't stop.Thanx, and good luck to all.
This is great! Very helpful! One question: when you’re playing the Em / A combo throughout the song ( both here in the tutorial video and in the demo / play-along video), are you muting the E4 string with your thumb? It looks like you might be and when I practice the song, I find myself preferring not to hit the E4, emphasizing the higher end of the chords. Thanks!
That is mainly sliding from the 5th fret g string up to the 16th/15 fret (using your 3rd and index fingers on the g and e string) down to the 11/12th frets on the same strings with a stretch on the d string between. All you have to do is play the record and stop it at every note and you'll hear what I'm describing. The rest is stretches on the G string on the 9th fret adding the single notes that descend to an e on the 7th fret of the a string. I hope this is helpful and not pretentious but to write out exactly what is played would take some time but I think you can find the licks with just a bit of guidance.
Keep at it..I use to think same...I will never be able to play Barre chords..and now I can...at first seems impossible.. guarantee u will get it in time🎸🤘

I love the way you teach songs, with the chord boxes to help timing, it really helps, thank you so much!

What type of pick do you use.?
Hi michael, I use the same picks Tommy Emmanuel uses, they're not cheap, but they are amazing. go to www.wegenpicks.com
One chord missing after Hsus4 is the H chord
Paul Davis????
Solo no ?
This is a really good video but I can't play the B bar chord - it's way to hard for me - I have small fingers.
Keep at it..I use to think same...I will never be able to play Barre chords..and now I can...at first seems impossible.. guarantee u will get it in time🎸🤘
@@wharfrat7773 Thanks for the inspiration - Angus has smaller fingers than me.
