They cost like buying 2 side to sides, my only question is the dust factor and parts quality. Example: I already replaced the water pump on my new carpet extractor only after 6 jobs.

This machine only removes the top coat, so make sure you have that side to side foe when you inevitably have to strip the floor completely.

We hated it for edges. Might work of a clean floor that’s regularly maintenanced. Low spots on uneven floors and edges barely get hit

I’ve used one at a couple of different jobs now, and I can confirm that a lot of dust settles on flat surfaces. Idk what the other guy is talking about - there is no vacuum attached to the machine, lol
