At first I thought this was yet another 'rant' on urban/suburban limits of capabilities in being prepared. Jason is filming this video in an upscale middle/upper class community of mostly retirees who can afford the luxury of green grass lawns and parks with lakes - not ALL urban/suburban communities look like this. There's an asset that almost ALL 'professional YT preppers' overlook when analyzing and/or talking about urban/suburban living but Jason made a point of it - manpower! Ordinarily people, neighborhoods and communities will pull together to resolve problems that affect them ALL - that's not necessarily the case if you live in rural areas where you may be affected by some situation but your neighbors 3 or 5 miles away are not. You don't have to have neighbors that will hold hands and sing 'Kumbaya' with you at the Friday night HOA BBQ to know most people will work together to fix a common problem - especially if it's at the basic needs/survival level. I do agree that water and food storage are vital to suburban/urban dwellers as most are dependent on city/county utilities and grocery stores for those commodities - things out of their control for the most part. Security is a personal choice as far as I'm concerned and in general people who live in extreme climates are well aware how cold or hot things can get, power outages, etc. and should be prepared for short term disturbances. If things do get bad enough and last long enough and government assistance is not provided - those 'capable' of leaving the dying cities and suburbs will be heading straight for the areas of whatever resources are available! Never forget that and prepare accordingly.

It may be distasteful (HOAs, regulations, more govt) but our side needs to start wielding power. Our enemies won't have the same moral apprehensions. You can either rule your enemies or be ruled by them. Get on your HOA boards, school boards, city councils and what-have-you, force America to return to her former glory.

In a way, the suburbs will be just as dangerous as a big city. Suburbs typically are within easy travel distance to a city, are viewed as being wealthy, affluent and having everything an inner city dweller would want, even though they may have no back up supplies. And often times suburbanites around a big city have liberal ideals, so they don't have self protection. Remember, 1 tank of gas in a beater car will go a long ways out of a city.

Ima suburbanite. The lady is okay with all the prepping but likes being close to the fam and all the commodities.
Fireplace built it, wood on hand for now. A nice neighborhood, moddle aged folks. A lot of trades, carpenters, electricians, everyone gardens something.

The last thing I want too do is be a lone wolf survivor. I'll try too start or join a commune. In the city its a concrete jungle. The water in the toilet bowel tank is fine too drink. Even a small commune/community would have too seek living off the land.

I'm personally not a fan of the suburbs at all. In a mass hysteria event of prolonged periods, I believe the inner city residents would spill into suburbia and be overwhelmed. A lack of infrastructure from any government entity such as public works would be catastrophic on the natural gas, sewage, water etc and long-term survival would be almost impossible.

If I own a single house, I would prefer solar panels and water filtration systems and a nice well.

Solar panels are expensive and usually low quality and don't last very long.

Still very helpful for most of us that haven’t seen it. Plus, have you ever watched a movies two, three four times. It’s just as good as the first time. This is a first for his channel. I am subscribed to both SD and ON3. This is Jason’s personal channel
