You do realize those pocket holes and screws are not attaching to the top as shown? Pocket holes are set incorrectly.

Peter, I already did this with my Kreg Project Centers. Two points I'd offer. Since I'm making it fairly permanent, I "made" my 2x4s with two layers of 3/4 plywood, sandwiched together, and then ripped to exactly 3 1/2 inches so as to come to the right height. Second, did you notice that 3/4 plywood fits "proud" of the track by 1/8"? I did and wanted things flush. Soooooo back to the box store and the best piece of 5/8 ply I could dig out of the stack. Works great. I didn't screw the top to the stringers for portability but I do like your idea for making the ultimate workstation. My shop is 12.24 and sometimes I need to "expand" into the carport. This is a great way to do it.

why not rip your 2x4 to size???

@@thefrogotten6983 2x4s will bend, sag, and twist over time. My solution won't do that

@@Honu425 you said that the ¾ plywood fit proud, so you went back to the store to buy ⅝ ply. My point was, instead of doing that, why didn’t you cut down your homemade 2by4’s that you cut to exactly 3.5 inches so the ¾ ply that you had on hand would be flush. Doesn’t make any sense to go back to the store and buy another piece of plywood when you have the tools to reduce the homemade 2x4s....

Since the mobile workstation has been discontinued and is no longer available, I have had to order two track horses instead. Is it possible to move the table top if you don't screw it in to the horses?

I would like to use this to rip 8' long studs or 8' plywood sheets. Is it possible to do this with the ACS? Would I need to join 2 tables?

Yes if you use the track horse. The track horse is specifically designed to work with the Adaptive Cutting System, not the Mobile Project Center, due to height differential.

What is the third option at the end? He says using some sort of “Station” to create the third option, I’m having a tough time understanding him. Anyone else catch what he said?

He talks about how you can use 2 Kreg Track Horses, 2 Kreg Mobile Project Centers, or 1 of each. and you can do as little or as much as you want and turn it into the ultimate work station.

I’m pretty sure the legs are set on “2” in the video. The max is “6”
