Young Han is one that could have little to no speed, especially under a Dash lead. Dash grants 2.5% turnmeter every time a light side scoundrel crits. While prepared Yolo has a 70% chance to assist when another scoundrel takes an action, and he gains up to +200 speed after utilizing his dice ability 4 times. His relic increases his crit chance and his unique grants +10% crit chance stacking until the end of the encounter. He will help drive turnmeter to his team by constantly criting on his nearly constant assisting, plus inevitably add +200 speed to his base speed.
I like droideka fast in 3s with magnaguard, he cycles through damage immunity so fast that it's easier to stall opponents when he's on defense. Mags will cleanse if he gets stunned as well so as a back wall thing it can give a lot of trouble. In 5s droideka being slow seems better for the damage output to me.

Main problem with those slow mods is: you usually don't farm for them and the phased out speed mods don't qualify. Everyone probably had tons of mods that he got rid of, which had the potential of being great slow mods. With mods being such a huge time sink, is it really worth it to invest into that niche?
I would say chewp0. his main thing is adding stats to rebels and constantly assisting, plus with the tm on a cls team he should get his turn after everyone else does their own salvo anyway
Not to say it's the ideal, but I'd say Dooku is an option because he can be used as a budget Nest that can solo c teams. I try to keep him around for max banners on back wall trash
