I would feel so special if I had a complication and my surgeon literally came to see me and stayed with me until he knew I was okay. You are honestly an amazing doctor.
I love how honest you are about things. I also love how you don't try to push people to get plastic surgery. I found you on TikTok a while back. Then found you here. You definitely have helped me learn to love my body as is. Thank you.
I had a strabismus since I was a baby and that story made complete sense. I can almost control it by now, and when I zone out my eye drifts. I have to be focused on something specific for it to realign. So it reverting because of the numbing sounds so obvious to me now that you said it!
This story really hits me hard since I was operated on as a child for crossed eyes. I didn't even think about it until recently, my eye doctor congratulated me for my crossed eye operation, "Your doctor did a terrific job!" even though I had them operated on 60 years ago.
A year after a bilateral blepharoplasty, my eyes stopped to close completely when I sleep, which cased allergies and other issues, I waited another year , then went to see an ophthalmologist who is also a plastic surgeon, after examining my eyes and learned the story, he told me never to let any plastic surgeon touch my eyes, as they are not eyes doctors, and few weeks later, I had my surgery at a hospital because I am immunosuppressed due to an organ transplant and not in his office and luckily the eyelids are back to normal and close completely. Lesson learned.
I'd never heard of Interventional Radiation therapy before this for blood clots. Very informative especially since clots are a very common occurrence these days.
There was a doctor, a gynecologist, in Virginia by the name of Harry Beaver. And another doctor who's ad bragged "specialist in rectal bleeding!" - his name was Indar Bhatt. 😂😂😂
Did the woman who had the clot a smoker or had other risk factors? Blood clots happen to smokers, people on certain meds, being very overweight, etc... it might be an anatomy issue but I bet she had other risk factoes

I love the work of whoever is doing your illustrations! They look so great and really reflect your attitudes throughout your stories.
You know he’s a good plastic surgeon when he admits to having issues or complications and how he fixes it
These are excellent stories! The illustrations are perfect. I'm both freaked out and entertained by these story times.

A surgeon called "Schlachter" will never be not funny. Schlachter meaning "slaughter" in german.

love it all, except the comment about "hoping she was overreacting", which is a common patriarchal part of medicine, which i know you know!
