with the amount of money the surgery costs he could easily get a gym membership and even a personal trainer but addictions, like one to plastic surgery are difficult to overcome
Exactly. I could maybe understand if he tried working out for a long time and he just couldn't get the exact results he wanted. But he's not even trying! Nothing will ever look as good as health
Its not about being strong or fit, it's about looking like Christopher Reeve. Doing the work to cut his body fat would take too long for him probably, and that is all time spent not looking like christopher reeve. Health seems to be absolutely separate from his Christopher Reeve fixation, to a degree that doesn't make sense. Personally, it doesn't seem Superman-like to only look the part while being strong as a sack of filler.
This guy is so positive and sweet. Too bad he felt he needed so much work when he really didn't.

Christopher Reeves was told he had to wear fake muscles because he wasn't big enough. He didn't like the idea so he genuinely bulked up for the role. I wish this guy got the same idea.

Dr. Youn, I like your explanation on why you do not perform certain procedures such as abdominal etching. It makes a lot of sense when you explain it. I think people would be better off, if they took the advice from a good doctor such as yourself or Dr. Dubrow .
I feel really sorry for this sympathetic guy and anybody who is so insecure that they undergo weird treatments.
This man does it to help children & give them hope - he's Filipino & is not a bad person🙏🇬🇧
I really like this Superman dude. Usually most of these types of people are more than a little "out there"
But this guy seems like an actual good person with a good personality and sense of humor.
It also seems like he's mainly(not totally) doing this for altruistic reasons. Also there's way way worse people he could be trying to emulate. Even though Superman a fictional character, Honestly I can't think a better person to strive to be like.

Why doesn’t he just get a nutritionist and personal trainer to get the physique he wants? 🤔 It would be a lot less expensive and a much healthier route to get a six pack and strong muscles, imo.
His arms would look funny if he was to get his abs and chest implants. He needs to work out, watch his food in take and see a therapist, nothing wrong being a hero but he’s fallen down a scary rabbit hole.

Results from his fat melting lasted only 6 months and he thinks its a problem of the procedure and not his diet? Idk what he thinks these permanent abs will do, but if he wants to keep any definition he'll have to change his diet or keep getting lipo all the time.

I work for an optometrist, not only do you risk infections, it might also be the wrong prescription which causes other problems.
I will concede-those first could have been plano-prescription free.

Idk what his "idol" motivation is .... but I'm pretty sure with the money spent on his surgeries there are many more ways to use it and still get the same end result, probably for less.

Do chin straps make that little fatty deposit under the chin, (even when the person is not fat) go away? Are they good for only one day, 2 weeks? Are they any good at all? Is there a way to test your reaction to Kybella injections under the chin?

I can not understand why smbody undergo plastic surgery... even a small one..
to my mind, personal qualities are more important than the appearance. Each person is beautiful in the natural form. Persons, who has physiopathological disorders or diseases or who were in accidents really need surgery.

I don't find this guy as likable as everyone else seems to. I know it's not uncommon for people to want certain results without having to put in the hard work for it; it's not fun. But he seems extremely resistant to the idea, and I'd have expected him to understand that there are higher standards, and more regulations on surgeries in the U.S. than in places like the Philippines. He even recognized that some of the treatments he had were experimental, and not always performed by actual doctors in the Philippines. He just doesn't care.
I enjoy watching Dr.Youn he seems to caring and very knowledgeable. But wondering if he skin care really works as well as he says? Has everyone here used it?

@Dr. Youn this guy gave the wrong info to this show. It's not true that here in the Philippines we can do whatever and however we want to enhance our physical appearance. The Philippine government regulated this type of "physical enhancement". We have Doc Vicky Bello and Dr. Calayan among others who perform plastic surgery that is licensed by the government. The intention may be good but I did not see it according to his words. He did it for himself and there is nothing wrong with that, As for the children they are amazed to see a Filipino superman look-alike. just misleading though. You have to be a "Licensed" plastic surgeon for you to do it.
How about a movie-quality costume? I doubt Chris Reeve had a six pack.

I'm a Filipino as well and I agree with you. Meron tayong mga surgeons sa atin na di naman legit na surgeon. Instead na mag-workout siya, surgery pa more. If you know Prince De Guzman, he doesn't get botched or have a surgery. He literally WORKS OUT para magka-abs, be healthy and muscular. That is why he can cosplay ANY characters like Shazam, Itto Arataki, Alhaitham, Pennywise, Cyno and more.
Kaya sa mga lalaking Pinoy, want to have abs and muscles naturally? Work out lang pa may time at wag na mag-Tanduay or maglasing at puro MSG ang kinakain, remove vices like smoking, and be healthy.

Its not necesarily a lie. You can look 5 years younger using alot of topical products consistantly. Acids, retinoids and a more intensive moisturizing routine can help you look younger if all you used to do is use soap.
