I switched from the original pad to the pad 2 because the refresh was really good and now that I have it I stand by that. I hope on the 3 they do a power button fingerprint scanner, expandable storage, and possibly a premium variant specked out with OLED 🤞

Just found myself a deal on a secondhand D9 controller for only 15eu. I can't wait till i get my hands on it, and finally replay some nostalgic ps2 games on my Oneplus pad 2 😊
I don’t think the 256gb storage is an issue like some comments are saying - these days it’s more than enough , all my files live in the cloud and I’m not using a tablet like a phone for photos and video taking etc. so all the memory is needed for is apps and games , and with all my games and apps , games from all systems via emulators and playstore games I have only filled 112gb . So it’s not as bad as people make out .
I think it's manageable especially given the price/performance of the Pad 2, which is exceptional. I will say that I had a whole bunch of stuff loaded on my Pad 2 and didn't run out of storage but I could see it being an issue as time goes on. 🙏
Are you kidding me? The 256gb storage would barely cover the media (box art, logos, screens and videos, etc) for all of the games I have on my tablet. 256gb is definitely an issue and unacceptable especially if you have a decent size PS2, Gamecube, Wii and Switch library on your device.

It's the only tablet available with 8 gen 3 and the only well priced product with 8 gen 3 in it. For everyone that 128-256gb is more than enough. Most people will buy it for that soc.
You said 17hr of sot ???
No, on-screen time for YT streaming at 1080p. OnePlus claims 40 day standby time 😅 I just haven’t owned long enough to confirm that 😃
@@retrotechdad 😅
Am using this tablet from last 4 days and am very disappointed from the battery backup and stylus latency, They do a fake advertisement
@gamingnibbaindia6335 What’s going on with the battery? I’ve been very impressed by it. You can get away with a lot of things using the low power mode. Check out the battery options in Android settings.
@@retrotechdad it's giving me 7 hr of sot on low power mode I think for a tablet the screen on time must be above 9 hr my old samsung tab gives me 12 hr of sot on note taking and browsing
Meh, as a PC gamer, I find the android " Highest settings " worse than the lowest settings on a PC, frankly, I don't know why anyone would drop $550 on one of these
Content sequence not good
Feel free to make suggestions, that’s far more useful 😉

@xender6969 My videos are all time stamped, you can hop around easily between sections.

Idk if you have noticed but asphalt 9 has better Graphics now but i actually dislike it
The graphics are awesome but the amount of ads now is worse than ever. It’s insane! 😭😭
wish it had AMOLED display
Yes! Hopefully for the next go around. 🙏
Unboxings are unnecessary in 2024 really.
My videos are all timestamped, feel free to jump around. 👍
NO SDCARD SUPPORT.??? WTH!!???
Nope, and they only offer 256GB as a configuration. 😭😭🤦♂️🤦♂️ It's definitely a huge bummer, since this tablet begs to be loaded with tons of games.
Its a shame 90% of mobile games are freemium crap... With a 8 gen 3, if there were more PC/console ports, this could a legit competitor to the "handheld pc" segment (steam deck, rog ally etc.) whilst also blowing the switch with its ancient ass Nvidia tegra processor out of the water.
Price is ok but this is still just a tablet that runs phone games no thx
Play gta 5
first is vivo pad 3
Vivo Pad 3 has the 8s Gen 3, they're not the same chip. You can thank Qualcomm for their beyond confusing naming. 😅
unbalanced gpu/cpu, underpowered cpu, and too strong gpu, most of the time not even used to 30%, while the cpu is 100% all the time.
