I've watched many of reactions to Good Will Hunting as it's one of my all-time favorites. As someone from Boston who's close in age to Matt Damon, I can really relate to the film. Ty, I have to say that I've never seen anyone so invested in Will and Skylar getting together at the end. It was fun waiting for the pay-off I knew was coming, but I never expected you to blow out the mic. All you have to do now is put that same energy into washing your dishes. 😀
Thank you so much man. This might be my favorite comment so far. I actually related to Will too. I watch a lot of movies and when ever I can relate to a character it helps me not feel as alone, so I get it. Thank you
You all need to stop having a conversations over important moments of the film. Commentary at appropriate moments is one thing but at least pause the film rather than constantly talk over it.
To answer your question about awards.... they DID in fact win an Academy Award for Best Screenplay. Robin Williams also won for Best Supporting Actor. Matt Damon and Minnie Driver (Skylar) were both nominated but didn't win. The movie was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Editing and Score. To put things in perspective, this was a really tough year at the Oscars. It was the same year as Titanic, which won a majority of the awards. But also - As Good as it Gets (Jack Nicholson is who beat Matt Damon), plus My Best Friend's Wedding (Julia Roberts), Wag the Dog, Men in Black, The Fifth Element, Air Force One and L.A. Confidential. If it wasn't such a strong year, Good Will Hunting may have won more than it did.
I have watched many reactions, of this movie too and it's the first time i see someone cutting the monologue at the park. Also joking around over some of the best moments, if it were commenting about the movie it'd be okay but something unrelated is just... found it a bit disrespectful even. If you're gonna react to a movie, even more a great movie like this one, maybe give it the respect it deserves.
Thank you for showing off your insane prejudices in the first five minutes so I didn’t have to waste too much time watching you. I really appreciate it.
It really does suck to be even slightly more intelligent than everyone else. Things feel really significant to you, but everyone around you is pretty much waiting to die and trying to have a few orgasms and drink a few beers along the way. It's a lonely feeling.
Both Matt Damon and Ben Afleck are from Boston same place the movie is located not Cali lol also, in my opinion, you don’t need to have so much dialogue as the movies going, feels like your missing parts of the film to give commentary and many times commentary isn’t needed, it’s nice to just see the facial reactions and letting the emotions of the movie settle in, whatever movie it may be.
Top 3-5 movie. If you want a couple other top 10 movies…saving private Ryan, braveheart, gladiator, Shawshank redemption, field of dreams, the green mile, silence of the lambs, rain man, tropic thunder.
Another reaction channel dropping the ball by not keaving the majority of one of the best movie monologs ever, the scene on the bench at Boston Public Garden.
There are only a few movies and episodic shows that stand the test of time. I grew up with all the StarTrek shows, but when I went back to watch them, I found that 2-4 episodes a season warranted a rewatch. The rest were forgettable. Most show are that way, a way to spend some time, but... A few things have weathered time well. Nickelodeon's Avatar the last air bender. Firefly, the space western and its final movie. A lot of UA-camrs cut their teeth on those shows. They come with a built-in large fan base. I am old, but if I live long enough, I hope to see you develop into solid people who has a positive impact in your circle of influence. Best of luck and development.
Thank you. Avatar the last Airbender is one of my favorite shows. They are planning on releasing a movie in a year or so. We will definitely watch that
@@couchcity Last message! Jordan Peterson, a clinical psychology professor. His college lectures on UA-cam are classics (the archangel911, on UA-cam). The media interviews after he became famous, are a distraction. His lectures are what made him famous. His series on Disney movies and the Simpsons are great. No need to reply, just a suggestion.
Nothing wrong with a hopeless Romantic, you guys will Love the New Lucifer Pilot. All I can say is you'll be Shocked with this show!!! If you don't like first Episode I will be the Asshole.. Be safe guys.
You guys are too young and immature for this movie. You Snickered, laughed, & sarcasmed your whole way through the movie. That shows Immaturity and insecurity.
Such a great movie, lots of yip yappin from the boy. Super heavy movie and the snarky smart ass remarks just don't stop. Do better, up your viewership.
Happy to see the next generation appreciate this. Masterpiece. Great reaction guys.
"That was an absolute buzzer beater!" - LOL.
And the line was ad-libbed by Robin Williams and they kept it in.

Well I’m glad it at least won Best screenplay.
"I love chest hair. It's like the one thing I can't have" that was an interesting sentence to hear

I understand. We’re working on making changes. Thank you

Thank you. Your probably right
You guys just cut out Robin Williams monologue by the lake. One of the best ever. Gotta keep those things in!
Copyright. But yeah great scene
Exactly.
I must say you cutted way too much of the park bench scene. One of the greatest monologue ever

Green mile and tropic thunder are on my list.

Watch Hidden Figures with Taraji P Henson . Great movie 🎬
I’ve seen. It is a great movie.
Love your reaction guys, you guys are missing a lot, you guys should start the pilot Lucifer, keep it cool...
Just found your channel. Where you been?
"PAUSE" the movie before long comments. Also don't go off on long tangents about things that don't relate to the movie.
I didn’t know Adam Driver did reaction videos
Thanks for the compliment
Don't leave out Mini Rosie O'Donnell.
Jesus you guys need to tone it down
Too immature to get it.
Stopped half-way through. If you think people are more interested in you than the film, start to make films on your own.
Need to learn better editing and not talk during a scene playing.
Working on it
Yea but they got personality 🤷🏾♂️

The female seems like she's being held against her will.
