You DO NOT have to remove the fan for just the UPPER RADIATOR HOSE....

This gentleman helped me a lot and is pretty precise but in this case just pull and push the radiator as he explains after you pull out the air filter compartment. But ya *no fan needs to come out* in this case

Do you even need to drain it for the top hose?

@@ironmantooltime you shouldnt have to. When you take off the hose you'll have some that comes out so have a pan under, but it's not too much.

They re use the same clip. If you look up bmw 2005 325xi how to change radiator by 1a auto you will see the same clip. But you have to disconnect the battery for that video.

You do not have to take the fan or the fan shroud off. Just remove air box. 😳🙄

Hi, do I need to drain the coolant if I just want to replace the o rings on the hoses that attach to the expansion tank? Thanks for any help

These hoses are so damn tight, it takes so much work to get it to loosen up especially when they are deep or under stuff.
