Is the intake boot from 1A Auto flexible? Especially the small pipe to the idle air control? I have one from a parts supplier that is not easy to bend. thanks!!
My intake boot does not want to stay on no matter how tight I clamp the ring it slides off after the smallest tug , my old one that’s now ripped was way more flexible and about a centimeter shorter , any advice? It’s on a 2000 328i
So I used the T30 like you mentioned and got the top one out but doing the bottom one it ended up stripping. After further inspection mine is a T40. Don't know if it's like that for everyone but now mine is stripped and I can't get it out 😑

Excellent guide. Just did the replacement on my 325ci in the drive way with this video. Thanks!
So glad I found this I was about to be charged 800 something for crank shaft seals and that wasn’t even the problem

That 1A advert in the middle about gave me a heart attack with the noise difference.
Hey you forgot to take the inner hose connector and reuse It on the new hose. This will for sure give you a small vacuum eventually a engine code
What inner hose connector do you mean

Mine was T40 as well 325ci.
Mine is all *t40* , I had to go to harbor freight to get the drill set since I only had t30 and lower....
Can this cause codes p0171 and p0174 ?
Yes. A crack in the intake boot can cause it.
Removed the battery cable for an air intake install 🤣🤣🤣
