BSA A65 electronic ignition installation

Here’s a short video of installing a Boyer electronic ignition on a 69 BSA A65 thunderbolt/lightning. This bike was picked up at auction for parts most of the points system was missing. I decided to use a Boyer system I purchased for my 66 lighting and get this bike up and running for the summer. I will have more videos of this bike and the reassembly of my 66 lighting this winter for now it’s time to ride and get back to work on my blazer . Thanks for watching and have a good weekend.

Miy one started after spending 15 yrs under a tarp in the garden with the same boyer ignition kit. It has never missed a beat since installing it probably around 1987-89. I totally recommend it over the original points.
