My dad had a 69 one time he pulled the 3 speed Manuel out after it broke and put a turbo 350 in place he cut the cross out like I plan and added a rear cross
Thanks for the comments, i hope im a help and not a burden, i enjoy helping him when im here, and i hope im not making a fool of myself trying to help him
I knew someone would comment on that. It’s a little rich and I have the choke wired open. And the tens sprays fluid on the exhaust. It’s not burning or using any oil. I just have to swap out the trans and change out the metering rods in the edelbrock. Just only drive it about 4 miles a day so I just leave her fat and happy
I am rebuilding a 1970 C/30 c&c dually right now. So I will be following every video you put out in this series. 350/Turbo 400, 4.10 14 bolt, power steer/brakes, and factory a/c.
1.5 hr to do a couple minute job... yupp. Sounds about right. I am hung up on an old pilot bushing. Won't come out. Bread trick, bolt and screwdriver trick... nothing.
I use toilet paper or grease. Same as the bread trick but the toilet paper works alot better. Make sure the punch that your using to push it in is close to the size of the pilot bushing. If there is too much space it won’t work
Glad to see you starting on Evergreen. You have good ideas so it will be cool to see what you do to it. My k5 blazer has a tube front bumper that needs paint. I am going to try vht paint you used on shortys frame.
Thank you. The paint works great but the better you shake it the better it works. I tape the can to a sawzall blade with gorilla tape and use a sawzall to shake it
Stock on mine is an 014 4-bolt main. I wonder if yours was the same. Great motor that they also used in the LA built Z-28. It really likes a Holley 1850-2 (600cfm), kinda sluggish with a 750cfm.

I just found your channel I've watched about 2 seconds and I see a yard full of C10 I'm here
Welcome
The channel is great. The content can be applied to the average person in his/ her driveway
How about a stepside with widened fenders?
It’s setting a fleetside bed with fenders.

My dad had a 69 one time he pulled the 3 speed Manuel out after it broke and put a turbo 350 in place he cut the cross out like I plan and added a rear cross
That’s what I’m planning on doing. I have to cut out the front transmission crossmember and the carrier bearing crossmember
Thanks for the comments, i hope im a help and not a burden, i enjoy helping him when im here, and i hope im not making a fool of myself trying to help him
This is “Pops”, and don’t worry dad, your doing great
It seems from a limited video perspective that you are a great help. I hope you are doing well!
Great to see you again buddy
Thank you
What about your blazer does it have a rear gas tank you can use
If there’s one in it it is no good
R j ‘s motor needs some attention to smoking a little but that also gives caricature

At least your honest. Lol
As usual you hit the ground running. That bed removal was a battle.
It sure was.
It was fun to watch!
Man I wish you were closer to Texas. I really need that bed you took off evergreen for my 94 3500 HD 1 1/2 ton project truck.
I moved here from Texas. But I already have plans for the bed. It’s going on pops 48 Chevy. Eventually
@@HarmonGarage nice. Hope to see it on your channel.
It definitely will be. It’s in line to get done wventually
I wish he was closer to Texas too.
Or I was closer to Alabama

@HarmonGarage I was wondering why the can was covered...
A Sawzall as a paint shaker…..
Now I’ve seen everything
Looking forward to seeing more of this build.
Glad you like it.
It’s going to be great!
Extra large please
👍
STUMPER.!!!!
Lol

sorry someone told you it was a 350 :(
It happens. I will come across a 350. No big deal
Same thing happened to me a little while back

That bed removal was painful to watch. 😆
