Do you need a display on your Bosch Smart System e-bike? Then the Kiox 500 is just right for you. The large, high-resolution display provides you with all the important information about your electric bike. The Kiox 500 is approx. 40% larger than the Kiox 300 display from Bosch. In this tutorial we explain how you can easily retrofit the Kiox 500 to your e-bike yourself.
If you already had a Bosch Kiox 300 or a Bosch Smartphone Grip installed on your e-bike, then upgrading to the Kiox 500 is very easy. All you have to do is remove the Kiox 300 or Smartphone Grip from the holder and attach the Kiox 500. We address this briefly at 9:45.
This tutorial is intended for e-bikes that only have the Bosch LED remote control unit installed.

I just get the Bosch module Connect and I am very happy with this GPS alarm systèm, but the only bad point and almost a joke is the power of the alarm sound; it will not afraid even a fly...

It would be great if the new display has a power button and bluetooth so we could get rid off the bulky LED remote and use Bosch Mini remote instead.

Is it easy to upgrade from kiox 300 to kiox 500?

Yes, it is extremely easy! If you already have the Kiox 300 you can simply remove the 300 and place the 500 in the holder. That's it. We briefly cover this at the end of the video as well, at minute 9:45.
