    Helped me a lot to retrofit a Smartphone grip to my e-bike which has a system controller. Cable routing was a little tricky involving lowering the forks in the headset. But thanks for the video!

    love the video! Only one problem. I do not have any premade holes 🤣what do I do in such a case?

      Hi, Thank you for your comment! That is tricky. Is the Bosch System Controller already installed on your bike? Retrofitting the System Controller is unfortunately not possible if you don't have the prefabricated recess in the frame.

    Hi can you please tell me if the retrofit is possible in Orbea Wild Fs H10? Because I really want to have a kiox 300 display but I don't know if it's possible 🤔

      Hi, and thank you for your comment. Based on the information I found online, your Orbea bike is compatible with the Kiox 300. Your Bosch motor already uses the Smart System software, which is required for the new Kiox display. If your bike currently has the Bosch System Controller installed (as shown in the video), the retrofit is possible.
      You can order the Kiox 300 here: www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-300-e-bike-display-for-smart-system
      Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

    Hi Michael. I have a brand new Trek 9.8 Rail XT Gen 4 with system controller and mini remote. Would like to add a Kiox 300 over the stem if possible. Do you know if this configuration would work? I seem to have 1 cable routing hole available on the right side of the frame, so ideally a single cable solution to mounting the Kiox on top of the stem (like they show in the Bosch video) would be nice. TIA

      Hi Matt, thank you very much for your comment. Yes, this combination is possible with your Trek bike. You can also check here: www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/productcombinations
      For the stem mount, we currently offer only one mount that is universally suitable: www.ebike24.com/byschulz-kiox-300-stem-ahead-bracket
      However, you can carry out the installation just as shown in the video.
      You can find the Kiox 300 retrofit kit here: www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-300-e-bike-display-for-smart-system?number=7600-005
      For the correct cable outlet, you will need to check which option suits your bike better. You can also find the Bosch Y-cable for a cleaner cable layout here: www.ebike24.com/bosch-y-display-cable-system-controller

    Hi, I curently have a setup with the System controller, mini remote and Intuvia 100 on a Bosch Performance line CX.
    I am looking to replace the mini remote and the intuvia with a purion 200 but I woukd still like the system cobteoller on the farme to wotk, could you please tell me if this is a possibility?

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24  3 місяці тому

      Hi Josh, Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, this combination is not possible. You can either equip the System Controller, the Purion 200, or the LED Remote, but you can only equip one at a time. You could replace the System Controller with the Purion 200 and then also equip a Kiox 300/500 or a SmartphoneGrip (or keep your Intuvia 100).
      You can also check the official Bosch site, where you can configure and see which combinations are suitable for your system: www.bosch-ebike.com/us/service/productcombinations
      Hope this helps!
      Cheers - Michael

    I have a speed pedelec and just bought the Smartphone grip. However, I cannot use it, as my bike has to have the display (kiox 500) on all the time (I didn’t know that…). I was thinking about buying the retro fit to then have both, Kiox and smartphone grip. Do you if that’s possible? That display Y cable would be the right one, in case that setup is possible? Thanks for the video and for the support!!

      Hi Ruben, thank you very much for your comment. I am afraid that the SmartphoneGrip is not compatible with S-Pedelecs. The manufacturer probably does not want S-Pedelecs to be modified, as this would all have to be documented. It may also be that it is not legally permitted to mount the mobile phone on the handlebar, such as with the SmartphoneGrip, as you are travelling very fast at 45 km/h. If I select the Performance Line Speed in the Bosch product combinations, the SmartphoneGrip is also displayed as incompatible (www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/productcombinations). I think the best thing to do here is to contact either your dealer or Bosch directly. Unfortunately, the legal situation for S-Pedelecs varies from country to country. Here in Germany, the laws are extremely strict, so Bosch probably has to comply with these laws.

      @@ebike24 hi Michael. Thanks for responding. Yes, that’s the reason. I didn’t know it when I bought the grip. I’ll try to return it… 😕

    Hi - I have a Grand Canyon:ON 7, do I need the screen support with the top or bottom cable exits? thanks

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24  Місяць тому +1

      Hello and thank you for your comment. It really depends on where you want to mount the display. If you want to mount it above the handlebar using the single-arm bracket as shown in the video, I would recommend positioning the cable outlet towards the back/downwards. However, if you prefer to mount the display lower down, above the stem, having the cable exit towards the front/in the direction of travel would be the better option. Both options are perfectly feasible. It simply comes down to your preference and ensures neat cable routing on the handlebars.

      @ebike24 thanks I'll wait till the bike arrives and have a look. It's impossible to tell from the website there are no photos of the handlebars or whether there is a central controller. Thanks for responding, when i find out I'll buy the parts from your website

    How to select the menus on the Kiox with this configuration, without the "LED Remote"? Can the "system controller" on in the frame change menus or can you use the Flow app?

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24  3 місяці тому

      Hi, if you have also installed the Mini Remote, you can use it to change the menus. If not, we recommend using the eBike Flow app to create the desired ride screen with the most important information. Alternatively, you can select the automatic screen as standard.
      Cheers - Michael
