Nice video. However, you might be using the Irwin vice grips wrong? You seem to be inserting the wire in too far and up on the lip of the stop. I believe you should only put it up to the bottom of the stop.
You can see that the wire is bending down when you’re stripping, and that’s causing it to not cut properly. I’ve been using the vice grips for about 6 years with much better results.
Very much appreciate the thorough comparison though!
