MIlwaukee M18 2729-20 Deepcut Cordless Bandsaw Review
I truly appreciate the review. I liked the idea of different colors to be able to see size. But after watching I just can’t bring myself to drop the money for a metric & imperial set. They sexy Judy not sure I’ll use them enough or that they will perform so much better than the hex keys I have now.
No wall mount available? 👎
There is not an explosive charge. There is a fusible link and a spring.
Would be nice if the Dewalt had a speed controller so can use lower speeds when dint node full power
Understand this is not a shop vac. This is a small handheld vacuum for potentially cleaning up your work area in somebody’s home, maybe sweeping up the stairs or foyer before you leave for the day. Just not for cleaning up bulk sawdust in a shop or anything like that
As soon as I watched you install the scale on the cross slide, I knew it wasn't going to work. There is nothing wrong with your scales, it's a bad installation. You can't just slap it on and tighten up the screws. The rail must be indicated in to within a few thousandths, just like you would indicate a part in the machine. Also, the read head can't be pulled off center like you have it either. You must make sure it is spaced properly, and square and parallel to the glass scale. You are putting your read head in a bind...that's why it is not working.
This review is so bias to the max… he clearly doesn’t know how to use the accessories the proper way.
Will the fence on the 716 fit the 715?
Good video. Thank you!
Good review of these wrenches. 👍🏼
Thx for giving us your opinion. For comparison, watch A Concord Carpenter’s review. I agree that this is a specialized tool with niche uses, but for those uses it excels, IMHO: HVAC work, plumbing fittings in tight spaces, and yes, 3/8” drywall. For me, my grinder has gotten lonely since owning this tool. BTW, when cutting tile (my most frequent use for this tool)), just hold a wet sponge close to the blade once you’ve plunged into your cut will reduce the dust.
Super! Thanks!
I have a really stupid question. I'm stuck living the apartment life and have been doing mostly simple woodworking. I want to get into fancier chamfering with a router but they are so bloody loud. Do you know if it's possible to have a soft start quieter router and run it at a lower speed if it'd be bearable enough for an apartment? I realize how loud these things are, but I'm wondering if I go slow on the lowest setting...
For the best cutting result, rule of thumb is- the larger the diameter/ the slower the rpm speed. You can probably get away with slower rpm’s if you move along the wood slower. Your surface may burn or look chattery. You’ll just need to experiment. Routers are loud.
Changing the blade with the battery left in. Smart.
I purchased one last year and cut down 12 trees (some up to 10 inches in diameter) on my property. It paid for itself at least 5 times over. Nuff said.😊
For wall cement scenario? How donyou remove the nail?
Reminds me of No Country for Old Men for some reason
Dude you gotta get this audio synced between your mic and camera, sounds like a whale underwater haha but thanks for the video
Just bought this. In choose it because its size and weight. And dont want a big chunky battery. Butbi use it mainly for loosening fasteners on motorcycle, and small work at home. If i was a carpenter id buy a bigger and stronger drill. But for my specs, its perfect. Have no issues at all with the chuck btw,
I bought one and am very happy with it. Probably since I realize it isn't a full-size shop vac and don't try to use it like one.
I gotta get one
many thx for informative review. I was tempted to buy one (was pricing at various retailers) but NOW SEE the limitations!
The wera have been proven not to strip the bolts on many other channels that did test them hard and the wera came out on top every time
I thought this video review was absolutely well done. I hate reviews that don't take a critical lens to the product and are basically shills for the OEM. If the reviewer wants to test it on a dirty shop floor and it worked then I'd be reasonably safe to vacuum my baseboards. But if he only tested it on crown moulding cobwebs then how am I supposed to know if it will have sufficient power to vacuum some sawdust? Seems the comments on this video are unreasonably critical of the review. The reviewer hit all the points I was interested in, and did it is a very concise manner. Kuddos. I appreciated your honesty/authenticity. Dewalt isn't going to be sponsoring you anytime soon, but I'll happily watch your video reviews in the future. Thanks for posting this review!
Op does a very good job with detailing everything about the vaccum but my only negative is only view about it is as a "shop vac" doesnt consider if your drilling holes or cutting some drywall in someones house. You dont need a shop vac just something that needs to suck up minimal dust/debris to get out quick that light and versitile. Without needing to pull out a acctual vaccum
What most people want to know is can this tool remove 20 lug nuts with that small battery without having to recharge the battery?
Great for camping
This boy needs to take his tampon out.
Very thorough and detailed. 🙏
Saved me from an impulse buy.
I love mine. Lots of power
I love the bridgeport we have at my work and i would kill for one but the cheapest identical model I'm finding is pushing $3k and i cant justify spending that money right now. A man can dream (and patiently save)
Bro.. its not a dam shop VAC...its a cookie crumb vac duster for your car seats and car floors. not a workshop...
I found it easier to modify the cover than make new.
Thank you for all the i God in detail.
Ran great last time I used it last month, took off the shelf to use today and no power to it, makes NO sense. Not power source because I checked the outlet and compressor running on it right now 🤔🤔
I thought your review was great, I was going to buy one thinking that it would meet all my needs but in fact its really only good for dust busting. You got me thinking about vacuums to a higher level too so that I'll be looking at others more critically.
This is exactly the kind of review I was looking for. Thank you so much for taking the time.
I'm an electrical contractor. I have one. Use it almost every day. Its great.
(Dry vac not to be used with water) “I use it to suck up water”
Got mine for $99.99 from Amazon a little over a year ago and you can't beat it, especially at that price! It's been absolutely perfect for the cars and I've used it all over in places I never would've thought like at a storage unit and cleaning out a friend's old shed. One of the best uses I've found is to clean my dryer's lint trap! I always hated peeling the lint off the screen and having dust get on everything and breathing it in, but now I have this awesome little vacuum hanging right there on the wall in the garage next to my washer and dryer! I don't even touch the lint now. Just suck it right up.
how much blow out is there on these brad
He looks strikingly similar to Slim Shady. That aside, cool video.
The ways are made of cast iron they not steel
nice work man. i can tell you're an engineer.
My left ear would love to thank you for the very informative video :)
A set of ratchet spanners is cheaper than the wera joker set and the individual tools are more compact with a smaller swing arc to work in tighter spaces. The jokers are also relatively weak so the only advantage over the ratchet spanners is size adaptability. Only covering ~3 fastener sizes per tool is not very adaptable considering they're roughly the size/weight of 2x traditional ratchet spanners, so I just don't see the point of them The plier wrench has so many additional uses, and the ability to avoid marring surfaces is a huge benefit for things like AN fittings or display fixtures
Just a question for the speed changing handle I put the speed to 600 and I reverse the handle to got to 4000 right so I can be clockwise and anti clockwise as long as i don't go to far? Not 1 way all the time the chain will seize* up in the middle
@toolamanjaro How is DTS 400 for sending primers and paint between coats with P400 granat net sandpaper?
Works great for it, particularly for getting into corners.
@@toolamanjaro929 Thank you, will order one. Im sanding and repainting my doors in house and sanding with hand produce alot of fine dust (special on primer). My Bosch 18v random orbital is way to powerful even on low speed...so I need something that I can hook up on dust extractor before I come to sand bedroom doors.
The bigger trigger is meant for use with gloves 🤓 I wish more tools were designed for use with work gloves and not for DIYers ...😢
