Hi everyone and thanks for the comments and questions. First, I grabbed the OCCC off a 23TE parked out back and it was 1647 lbs. For those looking for lots of interior storage the 23TE has that as well. With the power from the engine, the 10 speeds and all the tech inside, they really are one of my favorite RVs to drive. Thanks Matt and Andrea for the review. - Steve from TMC
We picked up our 2022 Gemini 23TW in October. As expected, we are having some build quality issues that Thor seems to be slowly correcting like drawer slides and latches, poor shower surround installation, and we're still waiting for our seat cushions for the driver and passenger. Having said that, we really love this RV. It drives great and the inside space with the slide out is awesome. Bottom line, if we get the open issues corrected, we feel good about our purchase. A couple of other features Matt never touched on that sold us on this unit. Touch panel controls for everything from lighting to slides to heat and AC AND full control from a smart phone app. Also has 100 watt solar panel that gets you started. Also has Winegard Connect 2.0 for wifi extension and ability to add sim card for cellular hotspot. ++
Thank you so much for showing it with the slide in! I’d love to see you always show the campers first with the slides in and show what you can and can’t access that way. Great review as always!
Thanks for the review. As someone who does a lot of urban camping, I'd never buy an RV that requires the slide-out to be extended to sleep or use the rig.. Love to be able to just pull off the road and take a quick nap without it looking like we are camping there. Fridge and lack of storage would also be a deal breaker for full-time living.
Not a bad little motorhome but they sure have gotten expensive. I really liked that you gave the mpg. And they really should give you a way to the roof.
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review. I like the interior colors, the window over the cab area and the bedroom storage. Not crazy for the small frig or the small amount of outside storage. Need a bunk over the cab and a Murphy bed model for my ideal model! Keep on keepin' on!
This unit was on the top of my short list until I looked at it at the Hershey show. I was very disappointed in the build quality. I absolutely love the all wheel drive, the size, and the floorplan but it just seemed poorly made. Thor please fix this because I'd love this unit.
Thanks for a good review. We bought a 2021 23tw last hear and traded it for a MinnieWinnie 26t. It was too much to get into the bed or make the bed. Prefer the walk around queen in the Minnie. We miss the full electronic control of the RV from te phone app. Never had to get out of bed to change ac settings, lights, slides and levelers also controlled by phone. It was also a bit nimbler. But the extra 4 feet is easy to handle. Both can be used without a tow as they are easy to drive around the CITIES. We drove in STL, KCI, and Moab worth with the Minniei and. MIA with the 23TW both are good and both have had quality problems. Good to see the improvements in this years unit.
It's pretty cool, a QI pad beside the bed, upgraded door window and a little detail of the plastic trimming the driver compartment would make it even better.
Agree. The refrigerator is too small and the rear camera should cover the mirror. I hope there’s a blind spot monitor. Wasn’t clear to me whether you could enter the bathroom when the slide is closed. That’s an important feature.
I like this Thor for as small as it is. My likes are the same as yours. My dislikes as well. I think that refrigerator is small. Storage is good in this class B +. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Mat and Andrea thanks for the review 23tw looks like it makes a fun weekend get away and as far as the camera mirror goes it’s perfect that way you can see back and also keep am eye inside for kids or fur baby
I will not even consider buying a motorhome without knowing the ccc first. I suspect with a full slide on this chassis that the ccc is compromised. Great review as usual, but I need to know the ccc, thanks.
Did I truly just hear you diss What A Burger? The Texas burger chain? Really? LOL You get what you order there. If you go again, pls do, try a Patty Melt, or double meat, w. cheese and beacon. Could you show some small Tiffin RV's? Doing loads of Thor's lately. I like the Gemini, but behind the walls they do not look as good as others.
I like this one! I even showed my husband. Over 2 yrs I've watched these two...and Ive never shared a video with him. They REALLY need to just produce more class B's...lol 😆. Thanks you two. Love the coat Andrea.
Great show Matt! Even though I can not afford a machine like that and I can not drive lol I enjoy watching all your videos about all the new Sprinters and other coaches, Super C's etc. You are a great host and I never knew there was so many types of motorhomes...good to know! Happy holidays and keep on filming your cool videos and sales of those neat tiny houses on wheels👍
I really like this unit. Andrea doesn't care for shower curtains and prefers nautilus shower doors instead. I must agree. I did notice that she didn't say the entire bathroom was a -. Her legs wouldn't dangle on the toilet like Matt's, cause Andrea is taller.
Can't believe what a game changer is the giant slide out! Looks made for tall people; we can even reach those bottom drawers, and see what's inside. Something this bright & spacious is sure to be copied.
Hey, love your videos.. very informative. Matt, you are very knowledgeable about the rv's you make in your videos.. i really like that. Would you be able to do a video on the roadtrek pivot slumber with the pop up. Im interested in that one, but would love to see what you think..
I said the exact same thing, but since I moved to Minnesota from Texas 12 years ago I haven't had any (they don't have Whataburgers up here). I don't want to think they've gotten bad since then.
This is and has been one of my top 3, (vs 2 Sprinter brands and don't have 3 years to wait LTV) but I go hot and cold trying to decide. Also, you got distracted trying to adjust the seat and didn't open the door for the OCCC. The toilet may have worked with a swap out for porcelain and OCCC usually is better than Sprinters and would support the weight gain of this and other DIY alterations discussed below. OH, and you are right, MHSRV does have a killer price on their web site that you couldn't say. Likes: Ford engine and AWD, floorplan - preferred over the TE (either bed or seating but not both at same time) model, MPG (people are reporting 13-14, not the 10 the first tank calculator lied to you about and given the roughly 10% price difference for diesel, it is roughly equal to the 15-16 reported in Sprinters. As you can see, I have researched these. Dislikes: 158" wheelbase, please use Fords 176" wheelbase, but LTV is the only one that does with every manufacturer stuck on the 158" (Thor-a marketing opportunity!), The small fridge (the TE floorplan actually has a decent fridge). Ditch the bench and put in a regular sofa/murphy bed. Question for Thor - in the Delano/Tiburon they offer both the identical bench arrangement floorplan and a murphy bed/sofa floorplan. Which is in higher demand as people have a choice on which floorplan to order. I thought so...FB floorplan all the way! While I can't do anything about the wheelbase or choice of fridge, now a special category I call 3 "Immediate DIY" which among the ones considering this would require the most post-purchase work. In fairness, with this being significantly less expensive than the others considered, DIY is more than offset. 1) BATH - Immediate rip out curtain and install a Nautilus or similar (already shopping Home Depot) shower door and change toilet to porcelain. A note on the step up, might be good and depends on measurement from floor to seat. Following wife's knee surgery, put chair height 18" toilets in home. 2) BENCH/bed - below bench construction probably wouldn't support a direct swap of sofa/murphy bed, but 2 changes. Those protruding fixed metal feet are a safety hazard to bang against (reported in forums and Andrea struggled with them in video) to be replace by 2x2 hinged legs that lay flat when bed raised and go to JoAnn Fabrics for for fabric and foam to make bolsters to at least resemble a sofa. and 4) Again, due to wife's knee replacement install some aftermarket running boards so she could step directly into the cab vs going through the house. Don 't know why Thor omitted that. Rented a base $19.99 UHaul and wife couldn't climb in it as it didn't have running boards.
My number 3 disliked is the Micro, if you going to put them under the county then use a drawer micro. I have the same on. My Vegas, this almost same floor plan up front. A Lithum battery pack would be nice.
Like the windows in the bedroom for cross ventilation. Love the headboard in the bedroom. Nice for watching TV. Love the colors inside and out. Wondering if there is additional storage under the dinette benches. Why not make full slide drawers? Bathroom is so so !! Love the overall size. 👍👍
This is a better class B than most. I didn’t like the fridge (too small), poor storage under the dinette and there should have been an over the cab sleep area. Instead of a dinette I would have preferred a couch or theater seating with table. More relaxing for watching the tv. Layout is good. I don’t mind the bathroom. I like the toilet on a higher base. For those of us who have disabilities, a higher toilet is a lot nicer.
Call review and this is a wonderful unit I looked at a 2021 and was overwhelmed and impressed with the amount of room for the size of motorhome that represents in combination with an all wheel drive powertrain makes this unit a perfect portable office and a short trip motorhome. But indeed it could go cross country comfortably. Would love to know where these are available. Yours truly David.
great one, like the all wheel drive, not quite 4x4, but close enough for off grid desert use,.... no bunk over cab and window there, would like to see more of that, even in the bigger class c... i would leave that window open most of the time, even when driving.... agree on fridge, should be bigger, but 3 way is great... be nice if all of them were, stove top just waiting to get broke agree there too... at first i was going to say replace dinette with theatre seats, but since you have a couch under bed also if want, plus another tv back there too. leave it the way it is.... the bathroom.. just glad they stuffed a full one in there, door instead of curtain, fold up bed i normally dont like, but in this, gladly take it, only way to make the rest work.... you could be watching movie or game if in to sports, while someone else, wife or kid sitting on couch in back playing xbox or whatever. for as small as it is, you could have 8 or 9 people in there everyone have a place to sit and a tv to see game or whatever... did not notice outside propane connection, need that for sure these days since many places do not allow any kind of real fire (wood / charcoal) at campsites, at all many times of the year, regulated or boondocking both, most of the year where i live.
Nice little RV for solo or maybe a couple who only go on short trips. Likes: wind sensing awning, tankless hot water heater, power covered skylight, tv above door, storage drawer under dinette seating, seating and storage under the bed. Dislike; small awning, exterior colors, lack of storage & twisty locks, no ladder on back, raised toilet, shower curtain. This was actually the size RV I thought we would get when we started to look at RV's, but eventually we want to spend a month in our RV in Florida during the winter, so the B+'s were out. Way better choice than a Class V (van).
Love these but miss that they don't put the outdoor tvs on anymore or on the Vegas. Needs a bigger fridge. What was the CCC? You never went back to it.
I have a Chinook Concourse MH, that I love. The only thing I hate is the constant need to determine where my next fuel stop is going to be. It's too bad that this Thor (I like most of the design, excluding the exposed water fills on the outside "I'm paranoid that someone will contaminate the water supply) only has a 25 gallon fuel compartment. One thing I hate about my Trition V-10 is the need to stop every 300 miles to refuel, and my motorhome has a 36 Gallon fuel tank. Last summer, I drove the family down to the Florida Keys, and my wife (and youngest son) followed with our SCUBA gear, and toys in the Truck. My wife's F150 4x4 with the Ecoboost 3.5Liter, has a 36 (or 37) Gallon fuel tank, and from North Texas, we can make it all the way to Florida without needing to put Gas in the truck (I already had to top-off 4 times in the MH). I had a lot of hope that this B+ had better fuel capacity. 10.5/Gallon and so at Max it is only good for 262 miles (and that would be pushing it).
I dislike that seat under the bed. Why not a Murphy bed with a sofa? I guess there's more storage under it but it looks weird. Also, the toilet is plastic and there is carpet. I love the skylight, the swivel seats with hanging boosters, the bed size and the slide. I might buy this if it didn't have a dinette.
I am an "American-Sized" man. 53 yr 250lbs 5'11 and i NEED a toilet that is usable. This new all-wheel drive is very good; however, thanks to matts rv ... he correctly pointed out the flaw "non-pooping--position" and that's what made me move on to the next RV. TAKE NOTE!
I love the spacious feel of this class b! Wow!!! And what a great price! 👍 I don't know what Andrea is talking about with a pantry space, can't you just cram all the food in those two gigantic drawers under the dinette? 😂 Awesome review!🙌
This is a TRUE B++++ WOWWWW. I am in love😍 My question is does it have AC? I might have missed it. It’s honestly the best in between C and B you have ever shown! I agree w fridge size. I wish there was wider storage for insta pot, coffee maker or bigger pans. I also wish they did extension to counter top. I LOVE the skylight!!! Bedroom hits function, comfort and good use of space ! I thought for a B+ the Bathroom kinda rocked but I agree a door on shower would be the bomb! Matt your one liners were 😂😂😂😂 neg night rider😹
I love it……..just needs to be a closed space for the back……someone break the driver or passenger window they have access to you and your home……I’m big on safety and security.
This entire thing seems like it was put together in cheap. Hit 3 potholes and this thing will implode, I just get the feeling that everything in this rig will crack break come unglued or fall apart real quick. Just a feeling I can’t explain why
Actually, our new Gemini held up very well on some really rough roads driving through Navajo country. I was worried just like you were but nothing came undone. Time will tell.
I've been watching your videos for a while now and they have really influenced me on what type of RV I'm interested in. Can you (if you haven't already) review a few truck campers? They seem to be really comparable with a Class B. Also, you and Andrea need wireless mics (Christmas Idea!!) Keep up the great work!
Could you sleep in it parked in a parking lot/hospital ramp, with slides in? Is the dinette comfortable when changed to a bed or only for short people?
You're the best Matt , love you're videos! cool camper well thought out, except I agree with Andera about shower curtains . In small showers, no matter how careful you are your elbow is bound to hit that curtain and knock the bottom of it out of the shower, next thing you know you're stepping out in to cold puddles, not good for the floor , or the dog you blame for cold puddles....
I really like the floorplan, but I agree it needs pantry space. Maybe the could have made the booth area narrower and put in a tall 10" pantry with slide outs. Also, why not make the drawers under the booth deeper (if possible) and no tanks or equipment is occupying that area.
I prefer long-bowl thrones when it's time for me to "take care of business". This marine toilet here looks to be even less comfortable than a regular round bowl toilet. It's real cramped in that bath. It otherwise seems to be a nice rig, though Scotty Kilmer advises against turbo engines. As for Whataburger, it depends on which one you go to and when. There's one by Northeast Mall in Hurst, Texas that's usually reliable in quality.

Hello Thor
Where in Texas is your location?
The 2022 23TW on a Ford chassis this rig being reviewed, the OCCC says 1415 pounds.
- we bought from you-

If I ever win the lottery and buy a RV I will definitely buy from Matts RV. Their joy and objectivity is so refreshing.
We picked up our 2022 Gemini 23TW in October. Seems to be the new standard, higher prices poorer quality control
Just curious what you paid for this model in 2021
$88k
Not a bad price . A little more than a 2020, but better than I have seen
Really shouldn’t have those issues but this seems the new normal
Thank you so much for showing it with the slide in! I’d love to see you always show the campers first with the slides in and show what you can and can’t access that way.
Great review as always!
Wow such quality -sky light wouldn’t open till matt slapped it -Andrea’s seat would not recline. Sign me up right now please
Like: seating when the bed is up. Good use of space.
Love you guys slow down
Love this B+ thanks for sharing and as always stay safe, safe travels, and God bless love ya Nancy
Not a bad little motorhome but they sure have gotten expensive. I really liked that you gave the mpg. And they really should give you a way to the roof.

FABULOUS! LOVE this one ... thanks for sharing! 💕
This unit was on the top of my short list until I looked at it at the Hershey show. I was very disappointed in the build quality. I absolutely love the all wheel drive, the size, and the floorplan but it just seemed poorly made. Thor please fix this because I'd love this unit.
Thanks for sharing my favorite RV!!! You guys rock!! ❤️❤️
Thanks Matt and Andrea! Love the energy as always!
I love the “cat corners”❣️
Agree. The refrigerator is too small and the rear camera should cover the mirror. I hope there’s a blind spot monitor. Wasn’t clear to me whether you could enter the bathroom when the slide is closed. That’s an important feature.
You can access the bathroom with the slide in.
@@badgpaw55 good to know. Thanks
Matt and Andrea do such a great job reviewing all of these units. I do wish they showed what the exterior looks like when the slides are extended.
WOW-ate Whataburger, You failed to go onto the roof so you wouldn't jump...Smart.
I like this Thor for as small as it is. My likes are the same as yours. My dislikes as well. I think that refrigerator is small. Storage is good in this class B +. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Nice to hear the MPG!
I like the review! The price isn't bad!
Wow, a generator that's mounted higher than the differential!
Just goes to show that someone is paying attention.
Nice! Merry Christmas to everyone!
Mat and Andrea thanks for the review 23tw looks like it makes a fun weekend get away and as far as the camera mirror goes it’s perfect that way you can see back and also keep am eye inside for kids or fur baby
Wow. That thing has better gas mileage than my H2 had. Whoa. I didn't realize there was no pantry space. Thanks Andrea......... Hi Steve........
I will not even consider buying a motorhome without knowing the ccc first. I suspect with a full slide on this chassis that the ccc is compromised. Great review as usual, but I need to know the ccc, thanks.
I think it’s very cute but would be better if it had a round booth
wow this looks fantastic!@ AWD 4 the win!
Very nice motor home I like it.
Agree on the frig should be bigger. Plus it needs a pantry.
Did I truly just hear you diss What A Burger? The Texas burger chain? Really? LOL You get what you order there. If you go again, pls do, try a Patty Melt, or double meat, w. cheese and beacon. You realize Matt calling it a class B is just a marketing tactic ;) these are small Class Cs
Love that unit!
This is the RV I want to get very soon. I'll be contacting you soon Matt :)
Love this unit very spacious and well thought out design thanks guys for the review

So much more enthusiasm than the first few I tried watching on this RV. Can someone tell me the difference between a Gemeni and Compass?

Dislike; small awning, exterior colors, lack of storage & twisty locks, no ladder on back, raised toilet, shower curtain. This was actually the size RV I thought we would get when we started to look at RV's, but eventually we want to spend a month in our RV in Florida during the winter, so the B+'s were out. Way better choice than a Class V (van).
does this come with blind side mirrors since it doesn't have camera's
Love these but miss that they don't put the outdoor tvs on anymore or on the Vegas. Needs a bigger fridge.

Likes 1) AWD & Ecoboost engine; 2) swivel seats; 3) sky light
I watch the review, but I like to get the expected sale price for the unit. We need to know that. The MSRP price is a number no body goes by it.
I wish we just had a portable plug in cook top and full counter. Because we have to have a coffee pot and maybe toaster oven
TAKE NOTE!
Can’t get to the closet and tight squeeze to the bathroom and fridge with slide in.
I love the spacious feel of this class b! Wow!!! And what a great price! 👍 I don't know what Andrea is talking about with a pantry space, can't you just cram all the food in those two gigantic drawers under the dinette? 😂 Awesome review!🙌
Wish it had bunk over cab for the little kids.
OCCC Cargo capacity??????????????
so chilling
Ahhh, can't believe you slandered Whataburger! Pretty slick RV though!
I need cold weather rv, and maximum off grid capabilities.heating in cold weather here in buffalo
I agree on shower cutain.....
Can you replace the plastic to a porcelain toilet? This would be perfect if it had a larger refrigerator, wish it was an option.
We agree!🎉
Has AC with upgrade option to 15k btu. Used to include heat pump. No mas.
@@badgpaw55 we are thinking of buying a 2022 thor gemini but now reconsidering due to quality issues…how is yours holding up? thank you
I really like that RV! I'm looking for a RV
Matt and Andrea, if you had to pick a B or B+ to retire and travel in, which would it be?
Do they have one 3 feet longer?
I've been watching your videos for a while now and they have really influenced me on what type of RV I'm interested in. Can you (if you haven't already) review a few truck campers? They seem to be really comparable with a Class B. Also, you and Andrea need wireless mics (Christmas Idea!!) Keep up the great work!
Love you two. I just don't understand with all the complaints, why Thor can't take up the slack on their quality control.
Yes a pantry
like this one!
Always liked these b+ or small class C's. Just seems little cramped on inside with slides in
Could you sleep in it parked in a parking lot/hospital ramp, with slides in? Is the dinette comfortable when changed to a bed or only for short people?
No, when slide is "in" the bed is folded and not accessible. Dinette sleeping would be for kids only. You can sleep in a Thor Axis with the slide in.
This is a Beautiful Small RV. However, use Bunk Beds, to Avoid the Folding Up of the Bed ❗
I’m Going To Get One

I really like the floorplan, but I agree it needs pantry space. Maybe the could have made the booth area narrower and put in a tall 10" pantry with slide outs. Also, why not make the drawers under the booth deeper (if possible) and no tanks or equipment is occupying that area.
Did I miss the CCC?
ditch the dinette and put easy chairs, other than that like it.
Hey could u guys do a video on the Leisure Travel Van Wonder?
I prefer long-bowl thrones when it's time for me to "take care of business". This marine toilet here looks to be even less comfortable than a regular round bowl toilet. It's real cramped in that bath. It otherwise seems to be a nice rig, though Scotty Kilmer advises against turbo engines. As for Whataburger, it depends on which one you go to and when. There's one by Northeast Mall in Hurst, Texas that's usually reliable in quality.
"Negative, Ghostrider." Not many will get that reference.
I wish these units had a larger fridge and a bike garage
Love yha... Review the Compass 2022 . TE
it is good but price is almost double then 3 years ago .
