I'm so happy to see a B+ on a Ford transit, rather than the Mercedes. If you find any other small class C's or B+'s on the Ford transit, I'd love to see them. The CCC is amazing! + Shower is good size + Some decent storage outside + All wheel drive, a bedroom + The size of the fridge - could use a flip-up counter - looks tight up front, at least for passenger - No hitch for a bike rack It might be better if the front seats swiveled and a pedestal table fit between them.
Sprinter is a disaster of engine complexity that can leave you stranded as the DEF system fails and shuts down the engine. The added cost is also absurd. Snobs can keep it.
Patty I’ve put a down payment on a Coachmen 20CB on the Ford Transit. It less than 25 ft length with an Msrp of 100k. Lots more storage. Coachmen is a subsidiary of Forrester.
😫I spent hours reviewing all the rvs that I had narrowed down my list to this weekend. I compared all the spec against one another snd eliminated my likes down to a definite few. I even emailed with a question and you guys throw a monkey wrench in the mix and messed up all my hard work. I love this one.!!!😍. luckily I narrowed down my list and I’m putting this one at the top. I love the size and the design and when you pulled out that drawer and the table was inside I was happy. I like everything about this unit. Thank you and I hope you guys enjoy your new rig.
Likes: 1) No slides 2) No "wet bath" 3) Ford Transit. Gas economy, and handling. (current rig: 28-foot class C with E 350... 8mpg...lol) Dislikes: 1) Not sure it would be possible but I think swivel cockpit seats with slide-out tables would have been a better way to go. 2) Where are you sitting that the main tv is at a good angle? 3) Cabinets could have been a lighter color.
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review! I like this little one! Needs more storage in the bedroom, swivel seats with a pedestal table and a lighter interior. Pretty good price! Keep on keepin' on!
Finally--AWD and side view cameras!!! Roof material? Probably TPO or EDPM? No A/C or is that an option? Of course options raise the price. Very nice new to the market rig.
Love this unit, wish it had a hitch to mount a bike rack or motorcycle rack but maybe that can be added and welded on as an extra. Thanks Matt and Andria!!!
Why are there no small RVS designed for boondocking?? Like they always give only 1 solar panel, small batteries, and only 35 gallon water tank. I feel like it would only last 1-2 days and I feel like more people would like to be able to boondocks for longer. Like why not a 100 gallon gas tank, a lot of these rvs have a large cargo carrying capacity so I feel like it could hold more
Agree 💯. Especially since this is designed for one or two people, use some of the CCC for more water. Compared to standards B’s the bathroom is great vs wet bath.
Finally a bedroom that you can walk around. Just big enough for 1 person. Need a hitch to tow bikes, scooters in. I like the two benches in the front. I could pull one down and use as an ottoman. Or put extended shelf on one side. I love this one
I bring a extra foam pad when I bring a guest it’s a full length bed my dad slept there is is 6 feet 2 inches and had no problem. He completely was comfortable
This is the first Class B+ that has a good layout. It could use some improvements. In back should have been a couch with a murphey bed. Add a folding table. This is your main lounge area. No seats behind the cab. Use the area for more storage. The front TV is a waste. Slightly enlarge the storage. This a one to two person RV. It's for a single guy like me or for a couple to use as a traveling home to see places or visit people.
Very nice RV. I wish they had a window on the rear. It would make the bedroom amazingly bright and you could actually see the traffic behind you while driving. Also if they put toilet in the other corner where the shower is and put shower in the middle it would make a very comfortable WET bathroom. I wouldn't mind a wet bath if it was large enough. The toilet is too tight the way it is now. Thanks for all the great videos.
I think this would be perfect for me when I'm going camping with my family. For me and my two dogs, this would be amazing. More than enough space for a week-long trip. My family all lives in different states as well and because I have dogs, it's more expensive to fly and board them then to drive and get a hotel. I'd much rather have something like this as the hotels are expensive just for a single night. I have slept in my SUV with at rest areas but the dogs have a hard time with the truckers noisy vehicles and the lights as people come and go. :D I love the refrigerator, the storage under the bed and across from the bathroom, and I actually really like how they did the dining storage. I wish it was prepped for solar and I wish there was a cabinet over the bed but for me, not a deal breaker by any means.
OH, and I LOVE storage behind the TV too. That's amazing. I don't know what's behind the panels on the sides (over the doors) but if there was a way to utilize a seperate little storage area over one of the doors for little things like bug sprays, maps, or TV remotes, that'd be really cool too.
Love the Transit! I like this. I’m sure you could put a larger mattress back there, no? I’d love this. And the outdoor storage is insane. Unlike the Gemini. But weird you can’t tow unlike the Gemini. I wonder if it’s prepped for solar? Oh the amazing campsites I could squeeze into with this in Banff & Jasper!
That is a NICE Forester . The overall look is spot on . No ladder is a dislike #1 , The little twisty doors which open downward dislike # 2 along with that tight Loo setup as our # 3. Matt the PRICE is Like # 1 Availability would be our #2 and the ecoboost engine our greatest like !
I like the Millage I get I like how lovely it handles I like the bed that stays made I like the shower I like the Refrigerator I don’t like how the Picture contact paper keeps pealing off my cabinets I don’t like how the Latches that keeps the drawers closed have been replaced on almost every drawer so far and 1 needs it again. I don’t like the sink faucet. It comes unscrewed and shoots water everywhere I turn the pump of Immediately but last time it happened when I was on city water I’m gonna have to take that sink out and get a plumber to put me in a new sink and a proper Faucet
I have this on in the 2019 model it drives easy as a van but larger and much more enjoyable than the Van Camper I had. Don’t want to go back to a van ever.
Could be made into a great motor home. I like the bathroom and refrigerator. The bedroom is wasted space. The bed should be against the back wall and up high, with space underneath for toys like bike and kayak accessible from a door on the back of the motor home. Should also have a permanent sideways table and bench seats for max of 2 people.
Need to sell. Life comes at you FAST and you do what you have to do. Now accepting offers. Pictures speak for themselves. Brand new used once Precept 36C 2022. All the features wanted,FP,tankless hot water, bath and a half,2 AC units, over cab bunk w/ 750 lb capacity, washer and dryer, full RV winter cover including tire covers, and much more.
I like it but needs lighter cabinetry for the small space. If you come across the other floor plan with the twin beds, I'd love to see it. Winnebago used to make that floorplan and I always liked it. For the price, it's very nice, if there is quality in the build. Sorry. Had to say it. Plain is okay....thrown together is not. After all, it's a lot of money even if less than similar floorplans. Love what they did with the seats coming together into a bed. Very smart.
No hitch, small bed, no ladder, no 12v compressor refrigerator, small generator. Access to house battery (single) only by jacking up and getting underneath? Video seems to cover-up how dark it is inside. I guess that it is better than a Class B because of dry bath, but not for me. (Window sticker at MHSRV says solar package, but I did not see a solar controller inside of the RV).
Thanks Matt and Andrea. Great AWD RV at a very decent MSRP. I think for myself I'd prefer the TS2371 floorplan with the 2 Twin beds, the loveseat with table and the bathroom located in the back. That floorplan looks even roomier. If you get your hands on one PLEASE do a review. Would love your thoughts. Either floorplan would be great for a single person or couple. Great for the weekend warrior. Also good to know that there is an optional 190 Watt roof-mounted solar powered 12V charging system (IPO side-mounted charger prep).
Likes: refrigerator, bathroom, large storage bay on the rear/driver's side. Dislikes: the base of the bed is falling apart already, those pleather jackknife chairs in the front tend to delaminate, the busy floor pattern.
You say at the beginning this model might be the best in its class.because it sells for under one hundred thousand then you give the msrp at a hundred and twenty thousand.
Andrea you made a comment back to me that msrp’s are 30 to 50 percent higher than the actual price which means you should be able to get this one anywhere from 60 to 90 thousand. If this is the case I would think it’s a great deal in today’s market place.
You showed that there was a table to use in the 2 side seats behind driver and passenger. But you didn't show how it would be set up. Doesn't look like any pedestal mount on the floor???
Sooooo the actual cost of the trash can is 119578 (MSRP) / 7415 lbs (estimated empty weight) x 3 lb (trash can weight) = $48.38 .. Amazon with rush shipping pricing !! And o ye .. the AWD is great, the table up front is cool, I like he cockpit style and I like the interior colour pallet (bonus) .. even a single bed over the cab would really help a grandparent, I dislike that A dislikes the valence LoL, the mirror in the bathroom should have a matching frame (it looks cheesy), and I’d rather lose the walk access against the back wall to get a bigger bed (cancels the bonus) I will hang a curtain for the bedroom
I didn’t hear anything regarding the drive train specs ..and ..would have liked to see this on a one ton chassis ..(is this a dual rear axle?) and ..what about AC? ..other than that ..very functional ..love the design ..
First, kudos to Forest River using the 178" wheelbase where the rest of the manufacturers - less a couple exceptions like LTV - are stuck on the 156" wheelbase (vs Mercedes 170"). At 26 feet long, the have a design advantage. Unfortunately, the limited floorplans. They need something like their MBS 2401T murphy bed on slide floorplan and the OCCC would still be outstanding even after the slide weight hit. Let's consider it a work in progress! Now the downside. Forest River misrepresents the capabilities based on prior generation, and never upgraded the design (trailer hitch???) for the higher capacity current generation Transit. Ford does make it confusing with two 3.5L engines with one being the turboboost. Forest River, while noting 3.5L Ecoboost gives the 275hp/262lbft torque of the non-ecoboost/turbo 3.5L PFDI engine. Likewise they specify GVWR/GCWR of 10360/13500 which would really limit towing, but that chassis was discontinued in 2019. I looked up the VIN on the window sticker of the vehicle you reviewed - and MHSRV does have a good price! Deciphering the VIN, it is a current 2021 build, Ecoboost 310hp/400lbft torque and GVWR/GCWR 11000/15000 which would enable towing around 4000lbs. That is the extended chassis, current generation improved capability, and a killer engine that has the capability to directly compete with Mercedes. Forest River - don't recycle prior generation...back to the drawing board. Build it and they will come as your competition is stuck on the 156" WB.
An email reply from Forest River to me several months ago on the 2371 model was that it has a tow rating of 3140lbs. They do not offer a hitch as a factory option, and I would have to find a local shop to do it. And it might require some cutting of the rear plastic fender.
@@markeidson5264 That would be consistent with the prior generation specs that offered the gas and diesel engine options. (13500-10360=3140). With the current generation, Ford strengthened the chassis as it dropped the diesel and added the ecoboost engine and AWD (15000-11000=4000). The model reviewed in the video has the Ecoboost label on the door. You can determine which chassis you have as the 8th digit from end is the year, but plenty of deciphering programs online. E-trailer does sell hitches for the Transit and appears to be an easy no-drill install, but online reference is for vans but they could advise.
I like it all but those 2 little sofa/chairs. No real room for your legs and lousy TV position. They should turn to face forward even if you lose the 2nd bed.
I like how both of you hand off the camera to one another, and you both present the product. I dont like not knowing what the product for sale "actually" sells for. Cant you just say " prices and promotions constantly vary, but at the time of this recording you could pick up this model, as presented for $ xxx, xxx." Future proofs your video, and could sway a buyer towards the presented product. I wish manufacturers were more transparent. 90% of purchasers go to the RV lot with a make and model in mind. Knowing the "real" price could help secure more purchasers.
Like the AWD Ford Transit chassis and having no slides, but dislike pretty much everything on the inside. Front TV placement, using up limited space for the dinette, 24x32 shower, uncomfortable toilet space, 54x74 bed, and the chocolate brown cabinets.
That thing is limited. Don't like it.Prefer a C. And for as small as it is,and an msrp of almost 120k....you're not getting it for any less than 96k. Too little for too much...and,you can't tow with it.Manufacturers have lost their minds in the middle of an almost financial crash!..and Warren Buffet owns this motorhome.
When are you guys going to tell us about why you chose that RV you “bought” instead of a quality unit from Entegra that you pushed so much with so many videos. Every other video was how much you love Entegra and how much quality they had then you turn around and get an RV with almost every part you described as we are going to change that and you no I hate twist locks but these are okay etc. seems to me by the time you make all you changes and fix all the dislikes you could have paid a little more for an Odyssey and been far better off. So when are we going to hear why that one? You talked about maybe on another channel but I’m not interested in the content from them. Answer it here!!
Andrea never knows how to work anything. She has problems with doors and cabinets, and now she doesn’t know how to move the seat. LOL practice before you hit record.
As a solo RVer, this looks great. No slides is a plus (one less thing to break), small to camp and park anywhere, and easy to drive. I would even make the bedroom smaller (add some overhead cabinets) and make the bathroom/toilet area a little roomier. You couldn't have a tow vehicle, but a hitch would be great for a bike rack.
Compact, with a few nice design features on a relatively efficient chassis! Reminds me of a cheap version of a Liesure Travel Van. Could have put a BIG window in that back wall to create an amazing look back there.
Matt, you're not going to win an Emmy for this show because we all know how you feel about these smaller RVs, let good job. This RV would be perfect for the average "lifer" in a perfect world.
In general a good floor plan. Like that it doesn’t have slides but still has a nice bedroom. Good storage. A few suggestions: 1. Hitch for bike rack 2. Swivel passenger seat 3. Lighter color cabinets
talk about eye being beamed by sun light from reflections what is with people and there ''brighter'' ideas do you want your eye to strain or you just like to feel pain in your soul? LOL
For the size, I like most things about this RV. But I have to agree with Andrea. That seating just wouldn't work for me. I especially like having a separate bedroom area with walk around space. Continue to review small Class C RVs with no slides when you get the opportunity. Good review.
I like this for the price. I agree with others that the bedroom needs overhead cabinets. I also think the cabinets are too dark for such a small motorhome. I would like to have seen those shiny european style cabinets. Lastly I wish you would have set up the dinette table.
Here's a comment that I make all the time. Fans of Class B vans often like stealth. Class B+ and Class C have graphics that become dated. I mean look at the graphics on this. Love the RV, but those graphics scream 90's Honda. RV industry, leave the graphics two decades ago please.

Yeah that would be awesome to have like a tv room during the day. I agree
Agreed
I'm so happy to see a B+ on a Ford transit, rather than the Mercedes. If you find any other small class C's or B+'s on the Ford transit, I'd love to see them.

Sprinter is a disaster of engine complexity that can leave you stranded as the DEF system fails and shuts down the engine. The added cost is also absurd. Snobs can keep it.

Agree with T Maverick. A rear lounge with a pull down Euro bed would make a B+ worth over 100K.
I’m not the biggest fan of class B’s but man this is really nice! It’s like a Class C without being too big or too tight

It would block the AC flow. That’s why they didn’t. No AC in the bedroom.
It has Ducted A/C, 100 watt Solar Standard
It's nice I don't care for the seating touching knees not my thing. You also mentioned that it was under 100k at the beginning it is not.

They couldn’t fix the screen before they started the video?
They need to let you give the sale price
I like it all but those 2 little sofa/chairs. No real room for your legs and lousy TV position. They should turn to face forward even if you lose the 2nd bed.
Just curious, does it have solar, or is it prepped for solar?
If you can't see the TV from the bed or the seats what's the point of the TV how can you watch it unless you're cooking backwards.
I like how both of you hand off the camera to one another, and you both present the product. I dont like not knowing what the product for sale "actually" sells for.
Cant you just say " prices and promotions constantly vary, but at the time of this recording you could pick up this model, as presented for $ xxx, xxx."
Future proofs your video, and could sway a buyer towards the presented product.
I wish manufacturers were more transparent. 90% of purchasers go to the RV lot with a make and model in mind. Knowing the "real" price could help secure more purchasers.
What is the interior height??
Why slam latch on only ONE I’ve the doors??
I really really wanted the sale price😢
That tv in the front is useless unless you like to turn your head to watch.
Andrea is sooooooooo boogie!
Very Nice, I’m About To Retire
Looks nice but still too small for me
How this motorhome cost
👍👍Thank you! Thank you!👍👍💙💚💙💚
Like the AWD Ford Transit chassis and having no slides, but dislike pretty much everything on the inside.
Front TV placement, using up limited space for the dinette, 24x32 shower, uncomfortable toilet space, 54x74 bed, and the chocolate brown cabinets.
Is this the competition to the LTv?
Lol - no
Cute
They needed to make the back bed into a real lounge like the leisure van brand. what a waste of space.
W vid
I guess you have to go outside to empty the trash can
2022
AWESOME B+ (c) ...lol
No AC?
It has ducted A/C
@@jeffwalles5830 Thank you!
That's a great motorhome, but a bit too small for me. Still looking :)
Liked the AWD, side cameras, 12v fridge.
Disliked the two seats that turn into a bed, rather have the bunk over cab instead to sleep.
The yes,yes after every Andrea comment is so rude and disrespectful. He is unbearable!!!! I love seeing the RV’s hate listening to Matt
This thing looks super cheap. Berkshire Hathaway ... go figure
That front tv is worthless.
I dumped this video at 2 min. WAY to much talikig going on.
As a solo RVer, this looks great. No slides is a plus (one less thing to break), small to camp and park anywhere, and easy to drive. I would even make the bedroom smaller (add some overhead cabinets) and make the bathroom/toilet area a little roomier. You couldn't have a tow vehicle, but a hitch would be great for a bike rack.
agree! as a solo person going into the RV life I would do the same.
I absolutely love the transit love everything about this rv my only dislike would be that it's not prepped for solar.
Compact, with a few nice design features on a relatively efficient chassis! Reminds me of a cheap version of a Liesure Travel Van.
Could have put a BIG window in that back wall to create an amazing look back there.
I would have liked more storage in the bedroom on the walls. Cute little motor home for sure.
A few suggestions:
1. Hitch for bike rack
2. Swivel passenger seat
3. Lighter color cabinets
talk about eye being beamed by sun light from reflections what is with people and there ''brighter'' ideas do you want your eye to strain or you just like to feel pain in your soul? LOL
Cool RV! Yes, a sliding pocket door would be nice for the bedroom and better lighting. Still like it though. Thanks for the video!
