In Perth Western Australia we have double brick i installed the cable in the wall cavity and placed the box in my cabinet with the other electronic stuff thst way its easily accessible to plug stuff into the ports without having to take the tv off the wall
A friend just told me about this set up- he bought 3 frame tvs and said you need this box for your new frame tv. He also said get the matte screen and frame- it looks amazing❤I was also told to use an electrician😂
My understanding is conduit is no longer needed because the tv/DVD/Apple TV/Component wires aren't "in-wall." They're in a fully accessible UL-Rated [and vented] network box. Add to that the electrical receptical isn't IN the network box with the components, however the user portion of the outlet is connected to and easily accessible to the network box. I'm not an electrician but I know some things, and this idea is pretty good. (until the next homeowner doesn't want a tv and requests a seller credit for having to patch the drywall. LOL!)
Hi, I just bought an LG G4 and I'm looking for a similar box to hide in 2 double sockets, a HDMI range extender and the cables of course. the only thing similar that I found is a Sanus box but it still has an edge that sticks outside the wall. What box do you guys use? Thanks
considering he's the son-in-law (I know where to find him, lives within driving distance, doing the work for free, has a dream workshop, and they DIY everything at exceptional quality... I'd let him in, bake him a cake, and give him a honey-do-list knowing anything he messed up by not tarping he can fix. 🤷♀ But that's just me. My guess is... he installed the floors too.

No heating issues!
@@chrislovesjuliathe cable looks long. How long is the cable? I have a hidden tunnel that was installed in my house I want to use.
@@HardwaretunedIt’s not rated for in wall use.
Thanks for the preview. Since there no behind the wall one wire cables available what conduit would you use? Thanks, Mark

hey I want to plug in a USB now . What do I do?
This is Great!I wish I knew where to purchase the box my cords are hanging right now.
Here is a similar one from Best Buy! rstyle.me/+mCmFsG4jV_tgwVfednUTeA
We actually just linked to a less expensive one at Lowe's in the video at about 1:18.
Great idea thank you!
I wonder If this is approved by Samsung, considering the heat that the box generates doesnt go anywhere
That box is the way we hang flush mount tvs super flat in the uk I personally think they are the best way to do it .

I believe Samsung is a long lasting and high quality TV brand?
would never ever let this guy in my house. Not protecting the floor!

only works with american paper houses XD
TV is too high
Not one drop cloth or towels to protect that mantle and floor. I would have been fired had my boss walked onto that jobsite.
Not very professional.
No good for the UK, our houses are brick built 😂
Unless it’s a new build 😂
