Billy Wilder said of Audrey, "What Audrey had you can't learn and you can't teach, god kissed her on her cheek and there she was." Perfect.
It always brings a tear to my eye whenever I hear Moon River. I wish I could've met Audrey.
aurora.rockets ; le.de
😭😭😭
aurora.rockets me too!
I love that song too
Audrey was doing films in Hollywood at a time when sexy bombshells where all over the place. But, men could not take their eyes off of this beautiful, elegant, and sensitive woman. And, she actively worked for UNICEF for the grand salary of $1 per year. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
In the era of Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor... Audrey Hepburn more than held her own. She created a new type of beautiful.
i mean she's also beautiful. people talk like she's a troll, she's an ideal herself.
Lovely comment!! I agree Audrey was special
@@vio3366 - Thank you so much. But, We can't make a lovely comment unless we are commenting about a lovely person. All the credit belongs to Ms. Hepburn. If you haven't seen it, Sean made a beautiful documentary about his mother. It's in 4 parts. Here is the link for the 1st part - ua-cam.com/video/F-EouugFYq8/v-deo.html - Or just type in - Audrey Hepburn by her son.
Beautiful to see Sophia Loren's reaction to Sean Ferrer's entrance on stage. She, like Audrey, was a child of WWII, experiencing and surviving all the deprivations thereof. That is why she beams empathy when she looks upon Sean. She is channeling his mother.
She was best friends with Audrey
@@fkd1963 They both had homes in Switzerland not far from each other, but you made that up.
INDEED!!!!!
it's so fitting that gregory was there because he introduced audrey to her first husband, mel ferrer and without gregory sean hepburn wouldn't be here.
This is so Lovely.
AUDREY HEPBURN was the very definition of a classic Golden Age Hollywood movie star. But also much more than that. Glamourous, elegant, refined, immensely talented but also humble, generous, compassionate and thoughtful. We may never see the likes of her again. What a shame she never lived to be really old. Forever Holly Golightly. RIP.
We don't have actress like her anymore ! She was graceful, beautiful, and so generous ! Never forget her !
You gotta be kidding me that you are comparing Natalie Portman to Audrey Hepburn. They are in two completely different levels.
exactly
Ur right!
Skinny jewish girls and actresses.
now that is one true Beauty personified, inside and out.
If Audrey were alive today she would still be setting styles and continuing to inspire in her 80s!
That is just so sad and beautiful that the man who costarred in her very first picture was the one who spoke in memorance at her for such a lovely tribute.
The children of Africa were touched by an angel, my idol, Ms. Audrey Hepburn. Agree, she's a beauty inside and outside. Amazing lady! The Mother Theresa of Hollywood.
This always tears me up - combination of Greg Pecks narration and Mancini's score is overwhelming.- "never forget her compassion, her bravery, her determination to understand, her high hopes, her help"
She was one very elegant, talented, and remarkable woman. I think she really felt her work with UNICEF was her crowning achievement in Life. compassion. love & compassion trumps every thing else.
Sean has her eyes!
And her smile
They should have the standing ovation for this! She was one of the greatest personalities the hollywood has ever had. The video presentation part was so touching, my tears fell down... I miss her dearly.
Gregory 💙 I am convinced he has loved her from the day they met until he died. Just perfect he did the speech.
Audrey Hepburn was the epitome of class style professionalism and her likes do not exist in today's Hollywood. Rest in peace.
I think that's the most beautiful video I've seen on UA-cam...I cried so much, for me, Audrey didn't die, for me, she's eternal like a star that will shine forever. To hell this stupid generation of mindless actresses that we have today, Audrey is the perfect exemple that at least one day, the movie's world meant something.
Letícia C. What you said is perfect. I agree 😢
Oh my sentiment exactly. I adored Audrey Hepburn. What class what elegance so dignified. Elizabeth Taylor mentioned her in receiving jet award for humitsriam they are both in heaven now. Both are angels.
Ditto!!!!!
She is eternal.!!!!!!
Sophia Lauren was one of her best friends. She had tears in her eyes remembering Audrey. Sweet~~
I cried. She is such an inspiration to me and to so many people as well. Audrey will never be forgotten.
Audrey was and still is incredible and it always amaze's me how classy and element and kind hearted she is she'll be forever missed 😭💖😇
this beautiful lady would've been 91 today! she was one of the MOST TALENTED AND LOVED PERSONS EVER! I LOVE YOU AUDREY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR FILMOGRAPHY!
He got his eyes from his mother. ❤️
Gregory loved her, there's no doubt.
Ms Hepburn is the most beautiful woman of Hollywood. Her beauty existed both on the inside and out. It is not easy to achieve this feat but she did; God bless Ms Audrey Hepburn.
Sean has her kindness and true care of people. I know, because as a stranger he showed care and kindness to me. This family represents so much of the best in human character and I am grateful for them.
God Bless Audrey Hepburn.
In public she seemed always very strong and smiling at any time of her life, even if it wasn't the easiest and happiest ( e.g. there are some pictures which were taken during the filming of The Unforgiven, just after she had had an accident and hurt her back seriously. In spite of the pain she could still smile at her husband Mel . She had incredible self-restraint..)
But at 0:50 she lost strength for a moment and there are tears in her eyes...she was also just a human, but an extraordinary one.
God bless you, Audrey!
and she still cracks a smile at the end
Sabrina Fairchild Yes,yes strong, lovely woman .True inspiration...
+Natalie Одри выполнила свою миссию, Спасибо ей большое ,.
I'm crying so hard right now😭😭😭😭😭😭!

Such a beautiful soul!
Audrey was truly a ⭐ star. The most incredible woman on this planet!!!!!
What a heart-warming video. Gregory presenting this award to Audrey, accepted by her son.
I have tears running down my cheeks as I type these words.
Sophia Loren she was a very good friend of Audrey Hepburn and they live very close in Switzerland
Truly the most beautiful human being that ever lived. Rest in peace, angel.
If this video doesn't make you tear up, you have no soul.
If you don't like Audrey Hepburn, I don't like you.
That's all.
I love you Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey was a human being who loved her fellow human beings.
love her so, such an inspirational and incredible human being.
gregory and audrey wherever you are, send to you all my love
The most beautiful and elegant woman ever
We should be really grateful
The most beautiful lady that has passed through the silver canvas. Elegant, sophisticated and at the same time simple. Her inner beauty was reflected in her beautiful eyes that lit up the screen and the hearts of those of us who were lucky enough to see her playing whatever role she made it sublime. "Moon Rive" is the best interpretation that could have been made of that song. We will always remember you.
What an extraordinary woman...
Gregory and Sophia were about to cry.
A wonderful human being and actress. Audrey was great. I cry when I saw this.
I really miss her......
me too :(
Perché non si vedono più i suoi film qui in Italia .mi piacerebbe rivederli.
beautiful inside and out ..that was Audrey Hepburn
What a beautiful human being!
No one can replace the woman with not just having a beautiful face but a beautiful soul.
That was a great affecttionate speech by a special son.
I really cried when I saw this
she was such a great acress
RIP
The angel on Earth.
I freaking teared up. She’s such a beautiful soul.
63. She deserved to live a hundred years.
A few months ago, I had a dream of her. I was sitting alone and she quietly sat down beside me, dressed in white. I leaned over to her and whispered: "Are you okay?" She leaned over to me and whispered: "Yes, I'm okay!" Since dreams are very real, I have been praying for her ever since. Hopefully, I may have a chance to meet her in spirit world.
Like mother like son. In every way, they are both such a great human being with a loving heart and respect towards other people. Classy and humble.
No standing ovation? Even though it wasnt her they could have at least stood up for her memory
Kdrama Angel yeah, Polanski loved children in a very 'different' way all right! seems that's the kind of person Hollywood prefers. one of the reasons I love Audrey so much is because she never lived in Hollywood, instead she moved to a village in Switzerland. she loved her fashion and was an icon, but never fell completely for the glitz and the glamour. family came first for her and she had values and principles. something very rare in acting
What a tribute to a true humanitarian, from a true legend of the screen, and a beloved son. May God keep you Audrey, beautiful in every way.
she was so kind and sincere.can see that from her eyes
unlike some celebrities today, sometimes i don't know if they really want to help others or just for fame
So moving a truly amazing woman in every sense of the word God Bless Audrey Hepburn Beautiful inside and out untill the end and it was allways clear to see that Gregory Peck adored her❤🙏💐God Bless Gregory Peck he was amazing I loved his voice it seemed kind and reassuring❤🙏💐
When ever I see her picture my soul smiles. What a wonderful, beautiful iconic woman.
A wonderful actress... A wonderful beauty... A wonderful human being.
One of the greatest actress and human being to walk on this planet! She genuinely loved and cared for the poor and underprivileged. RIP Audrey! We need more people like her in this world.
Brought tears to my eyes. I was only one year old when she past but she is truly my biggest inspiration. She's still touching lives today. I love you Audrey. Rest in peace.
Never has the Oscar been presented to a more deserving human being.
A true hollywood legend
Not just classy but a caring person
A very great woman. We miss her.
im tearing up oh god ..words cannot describe how much i love her !
She was too beautiful in this world. Rest in peace.
A chill always goes down my back whenever I hear Moon River. I love Audrey so incredibly much❤️
*cries*. Rest in peace Audrey and Gregory.
She was real human being
That made me cry. What a wonderful, special lady.
One of my favorite performers is also one of my favorite people. Unlike most celebs, who seem to pay lip service to whatever the current charity of choice happens to be, Our Fair Audrey wasn't afraid to go to the far-flung corners of the world, and get her hands dirty, for UNICEF, and at least two generations of the world's children owe her a debt of thanks that can only be reciprocated, never repaid.
She was also my first big crush after seeing "My Fair Lady" as a six or seven year old.
So beautiful & kind. Wish there were more like her - a real princess.
Indeed she is.... she was so elegant and beautiful
Audrey Hepburn is the best actress eever !
My Goosebumps😭😭 I cried while watching this, Audrey Hepburn is such so beautiful inside n' out. She's like an Angel💕 WE ALL STILL LOVE AUDREY HEPBURN by all our Hearts.
I love and admire this lady. a true feminine woman and mother and humanist, in the best sense of the word.
*May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus. mercy and grace to the merciful.*
What a beautiful soul. She has so much compassion. Brings tears to my eyes
What a beautiful human being. May she rest in peace.
My God, what a fantastic human this lady was...my huckleberry friend, you are missed.
She was one of the most important person of our time, rip🙏
I saw this video back when I was just a child. It had a tremendeous impact to me until this day. Audrey Hepburn is an inspiration, always. Thank you :' Rest In Peace
Audrey Hepburn, what elegance and class. Sean was so emotional there. I will always miss her work and her beauty forever.
Such a classy woman. I love Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey had style at every Oscar show or special event she attended!
The video tribute was a perfect way to celebrate. The "Moon River" portion was particularly haunting and beautiful, a classic way to honor a classic actress.
Great moment of the ceremony!!
I have at home television recording and reviewing images is really exciting!!
The voice of Gregory Peck (close friend by Audrey Hepburn) and the soundtrack that accompanies the video presentation is touching!

Audrey Hepburn, not only a beautiful actress but also a cherished human being 🙏
There will never be anyone quite like Miss Audrey Hepburn. Tears here...
