This was my least desired phone at launch but then I saw the battery tests and began to fall in love with this thing. I could care less about AoD and 120hz refresh rate and could live without them.

I agree, most ip 14 pro max users turn off the 120 refresh rate since its draining too much battery from day to day usage. Imma upgrade to 15plus soon!!!
Got my 15+ in black yesterday (as of the date of this comment). Using this phone, I can't personally justify having a Pro or Pro Max in how I use it. Fantastic device!

@@Uvix2Op to be honest, I’m not a fan of the very muted colors on the regular 15 and 15+ and I normally don’t get black but the black on this new phone is more dark grey than pure black. This is very obvious in bright light. In the sun, it almost looks like black titanium. It really is a good color if you don’t want something super pastel-y.

This looks so good in black. Ur gonna mistake it as a pro if you dont look at the camera lenses. And yes the battery of these plus/max iphones are just worry free. You dont really have to charge it overnight. Just plug it when you wakeup, shower, eat breakfast and by the time you get ready to leave, no matter if it charges to 70,80 or 90%, you dont have to worry that it would die on you for the day until night.

Oh my god what a time I’ve had trying to choose and order my new I phone. I’ve ordered and cancelled several times, finally choosing the 15 plus in black. Initially it was the pro max but overkill for my needs. Coming from mini 13 I was determined to have bigger screen and USB C. The only overkill is choosing 256gb instead of 128 which is all I need but can’t get passed the feeling of having enough space if needed. £899-999, what’s a hundred pounds these days. With trade in £659 which isn’t too disgusting. People bitch about the cost yet will easily drink expensive booze in a weekend or spend on expensive trainers or a car. After a few days of total uncertainty I now feel I’ve made the right decision. Thanks for this info. Cheers from London.

Great review and couldn’t agree more! Love the 15 Plus! I usually upgrade to the Pro version, but went with the Plus. I’m not a content creator or a photographer, and I couldn’t justify the cost. Plus I got about $600 for my previous iPhone in trade!

Same here 13 pro Max user now 15 plus user great phone just amazing photographs are crisp, speakers sound fantastic, dynamic Island is amazing, you got to learn to use shortcuts it's a life changer, the a16 chip the phone feels like butter even at 60 hz Don't miss the 120 hz or the expense at all, I had 14 days to return this and I am not love saving $,800 this phone is amazing. It's all I need, got pale yellow it looks fabulous, and the phone is so light just love it ❤️❤️

I upgraded from at iphone xs max to a black 15 plus a couple of weeks ago and i am loving it! Awesome battery life, feels nice in the hand, fab camera and perfect size for someone like me who likes bigger screen phones. Was considering getting the pro max as I loved the natural and white titanium colours but personally I decided it was too expensive and I wasn't overly bothered about the camera and the action button and the 120hz refresh rate. Very pleased with my 15 plus

I got it into my headspace that I needed the 120hz refresh rate, better USB-C speed, and the extra camera features.
Truth is, I don’t need that stuff!
I don’t play demanding games on my phone. I do like good photos, but I feel the 15 is good for my needs. I don’t “really” need the faster USB-C as I’m not a content creator or anything and won’t need to transfer data very often.
I just didn’t like the light pastel like color options. Green and Blue are my favorite colors, but they don’t really pop with these new offerings. That actually swung my decision quite a bit when purchasing.

I have used a 13 pro max with its 120 hertz and a mini with its 60 hertz .. you definitely notice it in the beginning but you get used to it so fast. I’m upgrading from my mini to a plus. And I do agree, they should bump the plus models to 90 hertz, that would be cool.
The downside to IP 15+ is only 60Hz

I purchased the 15 plus instead of the pro Max, I am usually a pro Max advocate, however I am just happy with this 15 plus and saving about 500 bucks this phone is amazing The battery is amazing photographs and video are all I need, I got the yellow color and I really love it it looks white in the sunlight and I can't be happier, do not care about the 60 hz I don't really care about 120 so excellent phone...
The cool part is the dynamic island, the speaker sound great, I used to think dynamic Island was BS but it's really cool when you have several apps doing things in the background you can shuffle over to very quickly, if you haven't gotten into shortcuts I would advise you to try them out and they are fantastic...

Is the Plus too big for pocketing when riding a bike? I have big hands but not sure if i need a Plus over the 15. 15 is easy with single hand , and Plus is kinda too big? Kinda split for that reason.

I see so many people on YT gloss over the iPhone 15 Plus as just an afterthought to the Pro Max, like praising it is some kind of weird hit to their tech ego.
Having tried both, I think honestly if the Pro Max and Plus were the same price, I'd still be tempted to go for the Plus just for that battery life and comfort in the hand. That's what matters most to me in a phone beyond not getting annoyed with bugs and poor performance, which no iPhone really suffers with anyway.

On paper it does but maybe true tone was turned on one and it wasn't on the other.

Go for the plus. I’m going from a mini and despite having small hands I know the plus is lighter and more comfortable to hold. I’ve had to do everything from bed due to a disability and when watching comparison videos the 15 just doesn’t do it for me. Of course budget is always an issue but if you are planning to hold it for a long time pack it up and grab a plus. Cheers from London

I have had numerous phones with 120Hz displays and it is the first thing I turn off on them all. Battery life is priority number 1 for me. A phone can have every feature known to mankind but if it's battery life sucks then it doesn't make the cut. On another note. I own the iphone 14 plus and it also has fantastic battery life. I may upgrade to the 15 plus for it's added features.

This is my goal. I am still on the Xr. The back is cracked, always have been mounted a screen protector and the betteryhealth is 83%. And love it. But I think it is time to upgrade. Was waiting for the next SE. But it did not came out this time.

I’ve been an iPhone hater for years now but I just got this 15 plus yesterday and I like it a lot. Came from a galaxy s20 ultra and it’s been a pretty seamless transition so I am very pleased with it so far. These phones definitely need a case but after getting a quality protective case they’re pretty awesome

We used Notes, got tired of the screen burn in on every single model (6 version models ). We moved to iPhone 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. Backups, transfers to iCloud and sharing, no screen burn in on every model, battery life and cameras…. We’re glad we made the switch, even if the pricing is so high.

I don't recommend the buds pro 2. There are much better earbuds out there. Just check out some of the videos on my channel. Yes, 23 plus is great and so is the iPhone. Honestly you can't go wrong with either but don't get the buds Pro 2

I actually just recently broke my iPhone 13 Pro so I decided to buy the 15 plus and coming from the 120hz screen on the 13 pro back down to 60hz is hard to get used to again and makes the phone feel a little bit laggy at first but I’m so glad I got the 15 plus. Loving the battery life oh my goodness it’s good! The new camera sensor takes much sharper images! Definitely do not miss my 13 pro one bit! Best phone to buy for the average joe like me! 😂

Just got my 15 plus and this really is a great phone. Agreed on most every point especially the 120hz. Put next to my brothers 13 pro max the scrolling on his is a bit smoother but you really have to be scrolling fast. This is coming from someone who has a 240hz monitor and is a snob for high frames and smoothness in PC games.

Wow, this battery just won’t die….it just keeps going!!!!! Plus I got a case that has a MagSafe ring that folds out to be a kickstand/extra finger grip.
After three months of purchasing an iPhone 12 Pro Max ( two years ago), I received a sound blast which left me with a head injury and completely deaf. I was very sick with this head injury for three months, slowly grew stronger after 6 months, and now, a year and a half later I still have almost no hearing! …. And, I still suffering with permanent neurological damage! Thanks, Apple!

The camera is on the 15 plus are excellent and I understand your concerns. But the cameras on the 15 and the 15 plus are actually better cameras than what we have on the 14th pro and 14 Pro Max. Unless you are a professional photographer, you don't need the 15 Pro or Pro Max for camera

I think the 14 pro/ pro max was made from stainless steel. Stronger than aluminum but not as strong as titanium
15 plus is aluminum but it does have better battery life then the 14 pro and pro max

Only two but then you can also digital zoom in even closer but you will lose quality when you do that
