Probably gonna give the iPhone a try fir the 16 pro max. That's when they should fix siri. Google assistant is so good, I can't give it up! But apps do indeed seem better on ios in some scenarios. Idk. Just rambling.
The 15 Pro Max was my first iPhone. I was very frustrated with it's limitations and the quirks of iOS. The Action button is placed horribly. Became more of an inconvenience to use it. I gave it 3 months, picked up the S24 Ultra as soon as it came out. Never been happier.
same, my 15 pro max is my first ever iphone, and so disappointed to the few features it offers compared to android (im xiaomi user) tho camera of iphone and vid are great in my own comparison, but other features its lesser than android could offer. for me having iphone is a symbol of social status.
I recently upped my S23 Ultra display settings to QHD+. The minor trade-off in battery is worth the extra resolution. And it's a very minor trade off in battery.
@@psychologicalFudge my s23+ could get 10 hours of screen on time and like 16 hours of total battery. I'm pretty sure the s23 ultra has a great battery.
Actually better phone should be the one that you can use better alone without other devices as this phones cost so much and this is why to me any phone that need other devices to work great is far lower . Samsung tops as a powerful tool to work by itself without needing other equipment.
@cristiansalgadobarragan8278 is it that good ? Some reviewers said it's good while some said it's lacking in some area. And not sure if I will like the oxygen os compare to one ui 6.1. Have you tried both new samsung and one plus 12 . I wanna know the honest user experience. Cos the price is tempting.
I have both, and all i can say is they have their own strengths and weaknesses. However, i use one phone at a time for both work and personal device. We at work use company portal to enroll devices with our network. What i have experienced is the work apps are just better optimized for IOS. With S24U i have to deal with 3 app stores. Google , samsung, and then another playstore for work apps. Apps like microsoft teams , webex and Outlook just work so smoothly and consistently on IOS. Something always goes bump with the samsung like delayed notifications and images in teams stuck in loading. I also noticed that i get gmail and outlook otifications first on iphone then my tab s8 ultra and then the s24U. Notice i havent mentioned the cameras as i dont care. My phone is first a communication device then a camera and both are good enough for what i need it for. I also dont care about ecosystems i use tab s8ultra as my tablet and jabra earphones for audio and they work well with either device. Samsung watch sucks though compared to the watch ultra. Pick what suits your needs and enjoy the device. They are phones and the OEMs have no loyalty to customers so no point in fighting over them.
@aditidorle1448 personally 15 pro max as it's more consistent across all lenses and no shutter lag. If you like control then pro mode on the samsung but you will need to put in the effort to get the shots you want. For video still iphone wins imo.
That's weird. Have you setup Samsung pass? I have to use 5 different apps for my work. We also use teams and emails through outlook. I use Samsung pass and I have zero issues. However, my coworker is an apple fanatic and he is always having issues. And is no body going to mention how awesome the s24u screen is? One of the apps I use is for alarm system installations and programming the cameras can be a pain because you have to take 5 photos in varying distances to calibrate them. Well on sunny days it's hard to view the cam image and I used to always have to go into the shade or try to use my hand as a sun shield. No matter what it's always annoying and I was used to it. Because that's just how it always is. Well, ever since I got this phone, I can see clear as day! Even in the direct sunlight. I don't have to shield my phone with my hand or my hat just to see the screen anymore. It's wild.
Iphone 16 comes out this September it'll be better than s24..... then next February the s25 will come out and be better than the iphone 16. Just stick to the phone you like😂😂😂
@@caprisun896I doubt it. Those leaks have been proven to be fake. Also knowing Apple , when they copy something, they always do it a way that you know it’s a copy but doesn’t look like a 1:1 copy.

You're right about the Pro Max battery life, mine is deteriorating fast - I got the phone at launch, so it is only a few months old. Taken delivery of an S24 Ultra this week, the iPhone is off to a trade in.
Great Video! I wonder if there will ever be a time where text messages are universal between Samsung and Apple. I feel like that’s really what holds most IPhone users to trying other brands such as Samsung and Google.
I'ma be real with you all i always choose Android over apple because I'm a professional android user just like a pc user. I like to use unofficial apps if you know what i mean and download music, movies, and other stuff for Free. If you don't do this than you don't know anything about the potential of Android. I have an iPhone for business and a android for my personal use. I have equal amounts of use on ios and Android. but every Time i use Android i feel back at home. I'm looking for a New Android phone with top tier specs and im looking hard into s24 ultra. Its got what i need.
I been iPhone user since the first iPhone came out 17 years ago and I just can’t find myself using the s24 ultra, I have AirPods, watch and that won’t work with Samsung , also no email app to check your emails , no iMessages… tell me why should I switch?
I use both, the S24 Ultra and IPhone 15Pro Max for personal use and another IPhone 15 Pro Max for work. I like Samsung and IPhone for their respective strengths and advantages for how I use one phone over the other. However, I switched my work phone ( IPhone 15 Pro Max) to the S24 plus; I am pleased with the switch for how I use my phone for work.
After utilizing the iPhone for twelve consecutive years, I have transitioned to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. In all honesty, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience with the S24 Ultra.
Galaxy is better? No surprise there. Samsung/Galaxy was always the better handset, for years now. I never had any sound issues with my S24. Even the sound on my S20 is louder and better than what Apple offers at the moment. Anyway, both phones are great. I kinda disagree that the camera is better on the iphone. In most of your comparison shots, the S24 looked better. The S24 just currently receieved an update for the camera, so shots are crystal clear now, with no noise, or graininess.
I hear and see for myself most of the time that the 5x has been a better experience on the s24 ultra. Especially in lower light. At least from most UA-camrs. Man all of y'all are going back and forth with these videos, haha! At the end of the day I'm just glad u can't go wrong with either of these phones. That's all that matters 🙌🏾
Still using an iPhone 13PM and don't miss anything. It's the first phone I'm using for more than 2 years and battery life is still amazing. To be honest I'm not a fan of the big bulky Samsung Ultra design. But it's a good phone for sure.

I did the same thing. Went all in with the pixel. The watch, the buds. Boy was I disappointed. I used to love pixel and for the first time the pixel felt like it was running a skin and overheating over basic tasks. Their tensor chip is complete trash. I exchanged two times and all the three devices had similar issues, mediocre battery life, over heating, and terrible biometrics. Can’t wait for my s24 ultra to arrive.
Yep i love my pixel besides the chip. Might go trade it in for the s24 ultra. Ever since Googles last update I can't even make calls on my pixel 7 pro. I can't understand the person I'm calling and they can't you understand me.
@@SWOTHDRA exchange it man. You are probably the only person I’ve encountered online and irl that has heating with s24. Their vapor chamber is supposed to be very good
I prefer the iPhone I don’t need my phone to do all this extra stuff that will take its toll on the Samsung over time I’ve had the opposite experience with my 15pm it’s ran flawless no problems even playing full scale ps5 game. Every android I’ve ever had come with so much useless stuff on it. Nothing matches the flow of a iPhone smooth and always consistent and always works like you want it too with photos too don’t have to be like oh man it’s night out my Samsung might not take a good pic the iPhone will always. I’m a simple man I like simple and reliable no thought needed and no other phone does that like iPhone
im curious about that too, android natively bans permissions to play videos on android auto, at best somebody maybe made an app to mirror phone screen or something
That Samsung is an absolute beast no doubt, but I just prefer my iPhone my iPad my Apple Watch and my airpods. Can’t lose with either brand both top notch.
I This video was very informative, and I literally JUST brought my S24 ultra like 5 min ago. lol. I've been doing my research, and this video has sold me. Thanks a lot!
I am deciding between these two devices right now. The main thing I need first hand knowledge on is the cell reception connectivity. Which one receives signal the strongest? I have recently bought a pixel 8 pro and it's majorly lacking in the cell reception and don't want to fall into the same problem again
9:56 More seamlessly than the iPhone? You sure about that? You suuuure about that? I've seen plenty of videos where the reviewer switched between main lens and 5x lens on S24 Ultra and it jitters and jumps around for a moment before the stabilisation catches up. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and 99% of the time the switch is buttery. Even when recording video and switching lenses it's damn smooth. Not perfect, but pretty smooth.
@@valismind Oki doki I'll take your word for it but I'm gonna check next time I'm at the electronics store. Maybe they fixed it with a software update because I've seen plenty of examples where it wasn't smooth at all.
Does nobody know that Samsung has the mappable button for like 8 years now. I had It set to flashlight for many years, it’s not a designated button like apple but the feature has been around forever
I was on the SamsungS20+ before and pre-ordered the S24 Ultra since the battery of my S20+ is getting very hot and lasts only a few hours. Shortly after my order I was told that I'll be getting a regular (not Pro) iPhone 15 from my employer as a business phone with unlimited personal usage. It's my first iPhone ever. If I'd known that before I wouldn't have ordered the S24 but I decided to keep it anyway. I think that's two pretty good phones for everyday life since the regular iPhone15 basically has most of the essental iOs features of the Pro models except for the more versatile camera setup.
i wonder if theyll fix the low light issues with the s24 ultra in a software update , i think its sotware related more than hardware cause the cameras should be than capable in low light and be on par with the iphone 15 pro max
As someone who went from the 14 pro Max to S23 Ultra to S24 ultra and now 15 pro max all within a small amount of time i can honestly say you really CANNOT go wrong with either keep in mind i only had the 24 for a few days. I went back to iPhone because let's be honest the 24 does a lot more and hell the 23 does a lot more but a lot more of things i never use tbh. Also i LOVE wearables and after using the 6 classic for awhile i rather the Ultra by a long shot. I will say the 23 and 24 stuttered a tiny bit every now and then but rarely in the way. Also I'm HOH and struggle to hear people on the 23 and 24 on speaker with it turned all the way up WITH my hearing aids on like bruhhh 😂😂.
Glad you did this because I was debating on switching from android. I use apple for work, so I am familiar with both, but was wondering what a daily driver iPhone would be like. But I think I may wait a little longer. Great video and keep doing your duty
I will say, as an apple user who can’t wait to switch to android for customization and ai etc.., iphones are quick and convenient and to the point. However, that’s kinda it. I’ve had 6 iPhones and there is barely any difference between them all in the past 10 years and nothing that’s stood out to me to keep buying more. All depends what you want though.
After much consideration, I've decided to stay with Samsung and Android. Android is more advanced than Apple's simplicity. Ultimately, I'm not willing to be under Apple's control. I prefer to have the freedom to do what I want with my phone.
You can go to one-handed operation+ and swipe from the side of the screen to open any app or perform functions like sending your phone into a Bixby routine or turning on your flashlight.
You can LITERALLY change any and everything on samsungs One UI. Gestures, power button mapping, keyboard, quick panel, homescreen layouts, icons, etc. Hell you can even completely change the launcher itself. One ui is MILES ahead of Apple. It's way more useful and fun! Unlimited options for customization.
Wow! This is the first review I've seen that actually covers all the talking points I bring up when talking to my friends! You agree with me on almost every point! I think we have in common that we both like different things about each phone and go back and forth which one to choose! It drives me nuts on iphone that I can't put the apps on the screen where I want! Also, I agree in most cases I like the camera experience better on my iphone (it does switch modes faster), and it takes better photos in lower light, but also it feels like it always puts a yellow-brown ting on the whites in a photo? I use my Samsung zoom!! One of my favorite things is to take concert photos and I can zoom in on the band with pretty great quality. I cannot do this on iphone! Why iphone refuses to add zoom I will nvr understand. It would almost make everything else less important. I agree that audio output is better on iphone. Both do a BAD job of taking up screen with menus while trying to use it. I hope you get a chance to read this. Subscribed!
Got my S24U for £30 a month with 512gb and free Watch 6 and 12 Months Disney plus. Over the S22U I traded in for £370, it's a night and day upgrade. So much faster, better battery life, better camera, better signal, better speaker, better screen... a true list would go on and on. ABSOLUTE WIN.
Nothing against iphones but I will never use one as a main phone due to the closed system, years ago I tried copying a pdf over which is supported to an iphone and it said cant copy as its not supported file and its just rage inducing, couldn't even browse my network to download music everything HAS to be done via itunes. Android is just plug in, drag and drop it works. Mum has an iphone mainly for facetime and I have her old iphone without a sim card in it just connected to network for facetime and free messaging.
iPhones can download music off the mobile browser now a days. I think no one mentions it tho. Music sounds clear and loud even flac files but even tho you can do that NOW I still prefer android.
In my professional capacity as a businessperson, I find it necessary to carry both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. While Apple's ecosystem offers distinct advantages, Android's app store, video download capabilities, and camera features provide a compelling alternative. Additionally, One UI offers a multitude of additional features compared to iOS, enhancing the user experience. And new ai system is phenomenal it enhance my writing skill
just gained a subscriber because he was one of the only people who spoke the truth about what the two devices really are. As good as the S 24 Ultra is, the 15 pro Max still has a lot of regrets about swapping the 15 pro max for an s24 ultra and ended up going back to the 15 pro max again
Man you just changed the mind of IPhone user. I only use iPhone since beginning from 1st model but this time I am confused, every time same. Am still having 3 models with me so I think I have to switch to android this time. Thank you very much for an honest review and solved my puzzle
oh this is the s24 ultra when it's uber dark mode (or low screen brightness), it does get grainy but it's also impacted by what you're viewing in that moment. (I don't think the iphone even gets that dark to begin with)
If you own an iPhone 15 Pro, there is no necessity to acquire the S24 Ultra. Similarly, if you possess the S23 Ultra, the AI functionality will be made available to it in the near future. Therefore, in this scenario, you would be solely paying for the titanium sides, as the cameras remain identical.
I'm trying to decide over s24 ultra over s24 plus ? My question is you talked about the battery being not so good after time on ultra ,but that being said would it still get you thru a day of normal use ? I love the big screen for watching videos but under normal day use would it start draining fast ? Always been a iPhone user ...
Good vid,,I have an s24 and wifey has a 15pro max and I use apple for work iPad and phone and I'm sorry Galaxy is just easier to navigate takes better pics and videos in my opinion and is more user friendly I can listen to any type of music I want as well
The phones today are to good,so it dont matter which you take, the biggest think is how good feel the operation system for you and which you like more, and in case of a apple user how good can my other apple devices work with the samsung phone, the google phone or other phones and do i want that they connect closely
Using the 15 pro max now and love it. However it’s so damn boring like you said. I can’t wait to see what iOS 18 brings, and if it doesn’t help, I may consider the s25 ultra. Apple is great for a concrete device but damn boring after a while. I miss launchers, icon packs, themes or anything else you want to change. iOS is you get what you get and if it’s not native, forget it.
I currently have a Samsung s20, i Samsung watch but a ipad. Its time to upgrade. I was a huge blackberry so can switch eco. However have watched so many now i am not sure if to make the full switch to apple or just saying androids
For me having both the 15pm and galaxy s24u. Over the years having both devices side by side my samsung generally has a better more stable service and internet connection. The antennas in samsung are just better. Both work great but samsung always been a notch higher.
I've had the 15 max and I now have the S24 ULTRA. I do give a slight preference to the Samsung. You can do less with the iPhone, software is quite boring with the iPhone. Video camera and photos were very good.
Bought the S24U and after a month i had to sell it. It's an amazing phone, but since all my friends and family have iphones, i have to share my images through a cloud service. Otherwise it looks like trash :( Also for the camera. The processing it makes is ruining the shots in my opinion. Only the 12 mp option looks decent. 50 and 200mp looks blurry and dark. I went and bought the iphone 15 PM and i will not be going back. Thanks for the honest review and i am glad you are enjoying the Samsung.
Thank you for this video. Im actually planning to buy iphone 15pm because i like the decent looks of it but now im weighing to buy either i15pm or s24 ultra. ???
I like both iPhone and galaxy. Honestly the specs of phones nowadays are more than enough. Features for me is the only thing I think that would make one better than the other.
I currently have a Samsung phone S9 and the Watch6. I desperately need a new phone. My friends and kids give me crap for not having a iPhone. I understand my new watch won't work with the 15Pro. Wondering what else I will lose?
This comparison between Apple and Samsung is completely subjective. I love the capabilities of both phones. I have an iPhone and a Galaxy phone that I carry with me. It's the best of both worlds.
I just like how all the cameras are in a lined up fashion where the iphones just look crazy with the offset design. Especially with the extra bump behind the cameras it just makes it stand out way more. I think the cameras are way better on the samsung too, mainly if you use the promode and adjust settings yourself. You can get more true to life photos right on the phone. There's actually a lot of parts of town the iPhone falls on its face for service where the samsung still works fine. It's been this way for years and don't have a reason.
Apple is highly restricted I like Apple computers but Samsung phones are far more friendly and more powerful than iPhone just unlock the developer mode and you can really see the difference
@Jeremiah88 NO one wants a phone that is overpriced for little to no upgrade😂😂 samsung continously improves there phone with updates despite there age, sit down apple fanboy
Thank you for your thorough review! Very Helpful. Most of my family and friends use IPhone and they are pusing me to go IPhone. I have always been a Samsung Galaxy User. One thing that was not mentioned in the review is that there is no pause and start button for the videos. I think that is a good feature that the Samsung Galaxy phones have.
If you’re going for Samsung I guess you’re making the right choice because I don’t see any reason while people compare IPhone to Samsung it’s really sick 😬😬
@SherryRPayne, stick to Android and don't listen to your family. I did the same and bought the I15 Pro max and I'm going to return it before the refund deadline expires and go back to Android. It has been so frustrating navigating the iPhone. It's just not for me. 😒
I have four phones and I pick up my Iphone 15 Pro Max the least. I only have it because I Love the Apple Watch Ultra 2. The S24 Ultra is thick, the Cameras are Amazing and it's All Day Battery Life. The minimum battery in Phones should be 5000 mAh battery 🔋 and that's what the S24 Ultra haves
You can just double tap the power button or long tap it and you have to actions in 1 button, oh an it Also turns/locks on off your screen / phone

it depends on the perspective you percieve it. you can say it like "i turned off Qhd+ even though its nice in order to recieve longer battery life"
Theres no battery hit
The battery of the s23 ultra isn't the best, but definitely up there, just like its price. So I'd be damned if peeps didn't use it along with 120hz😂
Check out the OnePlus 12!
I mean, the iphone doesnt rlly need other devices
Yes. They each have their own strengths. Got a 15 Pro Max and S22 Ultra.
hey, I'm considering both the phones before buying and my main focus is on camera. Please tell me which one is better for human photography? Thanks.
@aditidorle1448 personally 15 pro max as it's more consistent across all lenses and no shutter lag. If you like control then pro mode on the samsung but you will need to put in the effort to get the shots you want. For video still iphone wins imo.
For food photography, it's Samsung 3X portrait all the way.
Just stick to the phone you like😂😂😂
don't forget the IPhone 16 pro max will have the cameras lined up just like the S24 ultra 😂😂
@@caprisun896I doubt it. Those leaks have been proven to be fake. Also knowing Apple , when they copy something, they always do it a way that you know it’s a copy but doesn’t look like a 1:1 copy.

At this point!😂😂😂
when has an iPhone ever been better than a galaxy note? lol
Sweet video. Honestly u can't go wrong with either phone n ecosystem. It just depends how u use it. Personally, I'm an android/samsung fanboy. I have the s24 ultra n I love it. I also have the tab s8 ultra, galaxy book pro 360, galaxy buds 2 pro and galaxy watch 6 classic. #teamSamsung
I like both but I went for the s24 Ultra.
You're right about the Pro Max battery life, mine is deteriorating fast - I got the phone at launch, so it is only a few months old. Taken delivery of an S24 Ultra this week, the iPhone is off to a trade in.
I recently returned my 15 pro max after a month. S24 ultra is so much more customizable 👍
How much is s24 ultra in euros
Should mention that Samsung has the new AI features and you can use Dolby Atmos on any audio app not just ITunes.
True
I choose iPhone 15 Pro Max because shooting cinematic videos for editing on iPhone or Mac is fast and easy and like a pro.
Thanks for talking about the low signal strength in iphone. I switched from iph 12 to s23 ultra and s23 ultras signal strength is lot better.
I also own both. The iphone is certainly not bad but the ultra feels way more futuristic and advanced
Great Video! I wonder if there will ever be a time where text messages are universal between Samsung and Apple. I feel like that’s really what holds most IPhone users to trying other brands such as Samsung and Google.
Soon, apple IS implementing RCS because of EU law.

I also want iphone. I can't afford it. How I wish. 😢🙏

Could the lenses protectors effect the resault of the Samsung photos
Do you problem on the front facing camera not focusing? Blurry?
Galaxy is better? No surprise there. Samsung/Galaxy was always the better handset, for years now. I never had any sound issues with my S24. Even the sound on my S20 is louder and better than what Apple offers at the moment. Anyway, both phones are great. I kinda disagree that the camera is better on the iphone. In most of your comparison shots, the S24 looked better. The S24 just currently receieved an update for the camera, so shots are crystal clear now, with no noise, or graininess.
There is no "better". Only ones preference.

It is more seamless
@@valismind Oki doki I'll take your word for it but I'm gonna check next time I'm at the electronics store. Maybe they fixed it with a software update because I've seen plenty of examples where it wasn't smooth at all.
Does nobody know that Samsung has the mappable button for like 8 years now. I had It set to flashlight for many years, it’s not a designated button like apple but the feature has been around forever
What’s everyone’s opinion on how well these phones pick up signal in fringe areas. Which one is better?

Samsung's power button can be used for the flashlight. Also, the volume up can be used as a shutter with the camera.
Thanks! I pinned a similar comment as well appreciate the help!
I can NOT get rid of the back button. I am addicted and will not use an iphone because of this.

Man you just changed the mind of IPhone user. I only use iPhone since beginning from 1st model but this time I am confused, every time same. Am still having 3 models with me so I think I have to switch to android this time. Thank you very much for an honest review and solved my puzzle
Do you have the grainy screen issue on the S24? This is more noticeable in the dark and when looking at a gray picture.
Cam you elaborate a little more? Just did what you said I don't see anything
It is due to the non-reflective coating in the screen.
oh this is the s24 ultra when it's uber dark mode (or low screen brightness), it does get grainy but it's also impacted by what you're viewing in that moment. (I don't think the iphone even gets that dark to begin with)
@fennekindol2503 no it isnt.
@@valismind you need to be in a dark environment when you look at the grey colours.

Planning to upgrade my phone and i don't know which one to choose either iphone 15 pro or s24 ultra.
How do you feel about the connection tho,? the only reason I changed to iphone was because connection.....but nobody taks about it
For me having both the 15pm and galaxy s24u.

It's an amazing phone, but since all my friends and family have iphones, i have to share my images through a cloud service. Otherwise it looks like trash :(
Also for the camera. The processing it makes is ruining the shots in my opinion. Only the 12 mp option looks decent.

Same here. They each have their strengths.
Most Apple users think Android is still on jellybean 😂
They are wym 💀
Please get the camera exposure to stop fluctuating
Apple is highly restricted I like Apple computers but Samsung phones are far more friendly and more powerful than iPhone just unlock the developer mode and you can really see the difference
