I took a combat revolver course decades ago. They taught us that when you fired all six and no speed loader or moon clips were available to only load 2 rounds. Load 2 shoot 2 and repeat. This kept people from rushing you as they could not tell when you were reloading.

RE the shout 12 drill... I remember doing one with a borrowed SP101 against a K-frame. Got smoked the first time, the RO whispered to me "shoot two, reload two, shoot two". Came out on top. Only having to deal with two at a time made things somehow smooth out. Awesome fun day. Glad the Quack is getting some time in! His contribution to the history of the modern era is wonderful.

When I was a dismount in the Infanrty, I loved the 203. Held the barrel down. Kept the accuracy way better.
