CAMPING 4WDING RIVER CROSSINGS EXPLORING THE TURON RIVER NEWNES AND THE DIGGINGS

Back in the middle of 2022, we went out west past Lithgow for a week of winter camping that involved multiple river crossings along the Turon river.
We camped at the Newnes campground and then followed it up for a couple of nights at the Diggings.

Looks like you need a snorkel on your Prado bro. You don’t want to kill your engine doing all those water crossings. You’ve got a really nice set up in that car and that seems to be the only thing missing.

would it be to much to ask , what hight lift and what size tires are on the Triton 🤔 mine is a 06 triton 37mm lift and running 31in tires at the moment but would like to go 33in when i can afford to 😥

Thanks mate! Plenty to explore out that way 🤙 The triton just has a 2 inch lift and 265/70r17 tires

Good clip and great spot.
But please for the sake of every other camper out there, do the right thing and DON’T collect firewood in a National Park !
It’s illegal and just gives National Parks more legitimate reasons to close parks off for good for all … then all of us will no longer have to the beautiful hidden gem you mention at the 15:50 point, the same time you’re collecting firewood 🤦‍♂️
