yes i agree. im a die hard springsteen fan and usually hate any covers of his but this is fantastic. it was actually posted on his website backsreets. i had never heard of her before but fantastic job. pretty much gives the song a whole different meaning in some ways.
I like this version better than the original. Too many keyboards in the E-Street band. Basia's is so much more intimate, stirring, and the hammer dulcimer really takes the cake. Just an amazing piece of music right there. Thank you.
It used to be on the AV Club channel...for some odd reason they decided to hide thekr catalog of AV Undercover. There are about 6 or 7 seasons of artists covering artists. One of my favorite web series, and they just took them away. This is just a bootleg version.

This is great, but what's always bothered me about this song Is "speedball," which should be fastball. As someone who likes pop music and baseball, I cringe every time I hear "speedball."

This girl is awesome! Congratulations. The first 30 seconds of the video really have to go. They are a major turn-off for the people that don't know who she is. Most won't stay that long to discover her.

Years ago, I heard a cover (on mp3 children) of Someday by the Strokes by Basia. I think there were a few musicians with her but it was great.
