YES! Niagara is getting the attention it deserves! I used to change my homescreen constantly, never being satisfied with it. Since setting up Niagara to my liking, I really haven't looked back. The fluidity is phenomenal, and I have always loved having an alphabetical app swiper
but in niagara it's harder to find app that I need. In normal laucher I simply have folders with sorted apps so in just 2 taps I can open any that I need without searching for it.

Hyperion was my first launcher and then I moved on to poco launcher. But when I realised how powerful Nova is I don't think I can switch to another launcher ever
and after using flora icon pack and nova google companion on my phone to have the discover feed on the left of the home screen I don't think I'm ever going back to using the stock OS anytime soon.

I regularly use the default Oxygen OS home app launcher on my OnePlus 8, but I used Nova Launcher and Lawnchair Launcher on custom ROMs and my Galaxy S9 a lot. I love how customizable both launchers are.

I used to use NOVA, excellent launcher, but currently trying Lynx launcher and loving it, who does not love a side dock!!
Been using niagara for 4 months now, definitely my second favourite so far after nova
There's one thing i still want from nova and that is being able to change fonts, specially since roboto feels pretty outdated right now with android 10 rebranding and so on
If Possible, can you make a comparison video on stock launchers like oneplus launcher, pixel launcher, miui launcher, samsung launcher etc.

I am using Niagara in my galaxy z flip 3 and it's very smooth. There is definitely a learning curve but it's good
I already have been using lawnchair launcher from the Google play store since it came out but I haven't been able to get any of the alpha updates I have downloaded to my pixel 4 to actually apply to my phone. I tried installing another launcher to get an idea of what I might be looking for and missing in order to apply properly but I'm at a loss. Do I have to uninstall the lawnchair launcher version I've been using?
Any help you can give would be great.

Funny thing: about ACTION LAUNCHER, you didn't mention the major unique feature, that's kinda the major feature also in Android 12 now: the adaptive palette of UI elements matching the wallpaper. They had it since the beginning.
Great selection, I regularly use the first 4 launchers.
same goes for Smart Launcher 5 too
i love action launcher but it is not that stable as it should be but the "hidden widget" feature is a thing i don't want to live without
and a not so important but still annoying thing is that you can't search when editing/creating a folder that's kinda uncomfortable
but all in all this is my favourite launcher :)
@sam is there a replacement for Teslaunread for nova 7 ? Don't want to upgrade from 6 without this feature.

I like Niagara, clean, practical, with useful and functional features, I stopped using so many customizations, I use all of the launcher itself and I'm satisfied with that, it's perfect for me, I'm addicted to customizations and I was already exhausted from it... I use more icon Pack because Niagara dots are nice and nice...It's stable and fast, with a non-standard layout, organizes the drawer by folders or alphabetically malleable...Fantástica!
Ratio was a cool take on homescreen management before it turned into a paid service. It seems Nova is still the best option.
"Total Launcher" out runs "Nova" anytime, but still soooo underrated.

Hey buddy, I have a little problem here, I cant enable full screen gestures with any third party launcher in my Xiaomi device. Is there any way to fix this using pc or rooting. I don't want to use any third-party app for it.

I have downloaded ruthless launcher and this launcher is so light weight and feels clean stock androud very minimal under 5 mb and lot of constomization including hide apps function. The best launcher for me out there. Haven't faced any bug since i downloaded in my 3 year old smartphone.

I can't leave Action Launcher. I like having a blank home screen. But I'm hooked on Quick Drawer, Quick Page, and Covers on my Quick Page. I tried Nova, but I couldn't find how to create the Action Launcher experience I am used to now after I think 5 years.
you should look into blloc ratio, a completely new concept for a launcher, i think its great and really cuts down on screen use time.
I've tried it once, amazing launcher but is pretty heavy sadly, my entry level phone felt slow with the ratio launcher
It's a cool launcher but a little bit clunky
It has a great concept, good performance and an even greater price - about $50 every year or single cost of $150 - really ridiculously overpriced.

I need a very simple feature that neither one UI nor lawnchair has but Nova do: while searching pressing enter on keyboard opens the first thing on the list. How is this not the default behavior idk. With nova most of the time I'm able to run the app i want after typing the first letter.
Niagara launcher is so good..I was using Nova with zooper widget but when Niagara got released as alpha/Beta(I forgot) I downloaded it on its 1st day and had been using it since .. Untill recently..now I'm just using stock launcher with KWGT widget lol..

I will tell this here and now. People need to give NIAGRA launcher a try. I thought Nova is superior, and it is. But Niagra launcher is in its early stages. The launcher works so good and it's just super smooth. The future is niagra launcher. minimal and useful. creative people need to make more setups with niagra. And Sam, focus more on niagra will you. Use it for at least a couple of weeks. It works great.

I'm seriously looking for a launcher that is smoothest in terms of gestures and animations coz Samsung is known to "restrict" or "limit" animations compatibility with their phones. And one that I can hide apps easily unlike One UI.
For me making my own app icons widget is the best...😌🖤

I used to use a Launcher with my Pixel phones and somewhat with my Oneplus 7pro. But sense I have gotten the s21 I just use Goodlocks and don't feel the need for a launcher.

I have been using Nova launcher since 2013 and got pro version on 2014 for 50 INR on a sale. Its sep 2021 and my launcher is still the same.
I've tried a bunch over the years, and paid for a handful. To date, nothing beats fastkey launcher, which stopped development in 2017. I'm almost compelled to learn to code so I can recreate it.
For those who prefer clean and fast UI, I would also recommend considering Microsoft launcher. It has been my default for over 2 years now and has excellent setup potential.
Nah, too many Microsoft bloatwares packed in the launcher especially as of recent lol ...

@@homie_z16 I used to rock with Nova launcher before but after the last Android 11 update, I've left Nova and used stock launcher, no thanks to the inconsistent gesture navigation optimization :(

How much battery does nova launcher consume
For me, the best launchers I've ever used are TSF and Lawnchair. However, I stopped using TSF due to lack of updates and support of newer android versions. I switched to lawnchair coz it's very customizable and has fast, smooth interface. Even my old, laggy phone seem to look as fluid as my new ones.
wow, thanks for reminding me the name of the launcher which I was obsessed with TSF is the first launcher i used like 6-7 years ago and downloading it again was like a trip down memory lane!
@@harshbopalia yeah. TSF was my favorite launcher for years. I installed it on my older phones: Samsung E7, Samsung Note 3, Samsung J7 Pro. They looked better on that launcher.

While Nova and Lawnchair are the gold standard. People have forgotten it was Holo launcher that started it all. The OGs of the customisation game would know.

Microsoft launcher is also good, I like how I can have like upto 16 apps below for quick access

I tried a lot of launchers over the years and always come back to nova it's perfect for customizing everything the way I want.

I remember I used to use the Evie launcher. It was great. But the development for it was discontinued and was taken off the play store. It doesn't even work very well with later versions of Android.
I've been looking for a new launcher for a while. I hope one of these Can make a good replacement.

Niagara is really good. Very simple.
You skipped widget stacking of action launcher bcoz it makes thing difference
And also skipped Ballock Ratio as in my opinion it's the best launcher to cut down smartphone usage.
Also bought the nova prime but still prefers lawnchair because of its smooth animations
I just can't have these launchers becose of mising gesture controls (home, back, recent aps). But I do use Niagara for my tablet ;)
