I've been using Niagara since it's early beta. I love the minimalist look and it helped me be more productive. The music apps feature is also unbelievably handy. But would love to see the folder support soon.
It's now April 2022, almost a year after this vid was released. Full disclosure, I'm a die -hard Niagara fan. Since this video, Niagara has made even more advances in folders, streamlined customization features, implemented Android 12 style theming, widget implementation, and the list goes on. The developers are very engaged with the user community and are constantly fine tuning the launcher and working on new features, while at the same time keeping the launcher true to it's minimalist roots. I recently tried to go back to a more typical "Android style" launcher (I think it was Lawn chair), but setting it up from scratch just took too damn long. Niagara is, hands down, the easiest launcher to set up I have ever used. Thanks for the video!
Its now september 2023. And instead of costing 3 times more than Nova Prime, it now costs a whopping 6 times more. Fuck Niagara, 30€ is just absurd price for the android launcher.
I have been a Niagra user since early this year, and I love how minimalistic and organized it is. I do not like a lot of widgets on my homescreen, and I only need the ones that I use frequently, so this is the best launcher for me. I tried going back to Nova, but nah. I am so used to this simple launcher now.
Used Nova Launcher Prime, Lawnchair V2 for a long time but switch to Ruthless Launcher around 4 months ago and never looked back since then. It is light weight and has almost all the required features and most importantly free of cost. Those who haven't tried it, must try... It is just 👌
I've got almost all launchers premium versions like Nova, Action, Niagra, Smart etc. But in the end, I get back to Nova as primary home screen setup just because of its gestures & ability to mold perfectly into any set-up. Although Niagra is one of a kind & best looking one of the lot👍
Honestly, you are the best Android channel out there; Covers every topic about android, including personalization, comparison of different launchers, and great apps to better my experience with my Android phone. I was an iphone user a year ago but changed to Samsung because of how much details your videos have about android that I didn't have to be overwhelmed. Keep up the good work!!
I have been using Niagara launcher for years and love it. Although i never knew swiping up on the Google icon brings up search. That was my main complaint is i needed to click on the icon then click on search in Google app. So thanks for the tip lol
I have both Prime/Pro, but I prefer Niagra. I started using it when I returned to Android about two years ago, I found it to bridge the gap between Android and windows phone perfectly while remaining an original design. Nova is great too, I used to use it back in my Android 4 days.
I use both but I'll have to say Niagara is better on battery life than Nova and it may take getting used to but I really appreciate it for it being different.
Amazing video, I didn't know Niagara. Nice launcher, specially for the minimalister like me, beautiful the Agenda view: WOW! But, onestly, is not sufficient for leave "The Launcher: NOVA!" Really thanks for this and this kind of video!
I love Niagara all the way! Because of it's simplicity and minimalist look. Everything I want is just in front of my eyes when I unlock my phone. And if I want to use any specific app I just tap on the Alphabets and it shows all the apps starting with that letter. I don't prefer nova because it's not for those people who tend to mess up their home screens with kwgt and klwp, it's quite a hassle for a new user. I purchased Niagara pro , and it's worth every penny here in India but in other countries like USA, it's expensive yes. Niagara ftw!

I'd rather pay a bit more and get an amazing launcher instead of paying $5 for something mediocre

I'm sure there are a lot more features on Niagara launcher since this video was created. After downloading Niagara I can't go back to Nova Launcher, which I was using since 2013 🙉
With Niagara it's impossible for me to access at background app. Why? In swipe up gesture doesn't work...
I almost see the video but what do you prefer Niagara launcher or nova launcher? Greetings
The wallpaper with the deer on it, is that created by you or where can I find it please to download it? Thank you.
I will use Niagara only when they ditch sesame and start developing their own universal search.
After years owning android using Nova since android 5, and years after using Smart launcher 5..
Niagara does tempted out of me to add them to my cart. Well done.
Hey just one question? Is Niagara launcher Pro worth it?
