Every time I watch your videos I feel like I've been transported to the cinema. You're an amazing person, adventurer, videographer, and storyteller, John. I can't wait for the next mini movie. :D
Watching this in class 😔 this brings back wonderful memories of how beautiful the coast is in the fall. Keep up the awesome work John. Your videos are spectacular!
Enjoy everything about your videos, from the content to the cinematography and always the perfect musical accompaniment. Most of all, the honesty and raw emotions. You can't fake that for an audience. This one brought back fond memories of living on the Oregon Coast and running with my dog amidst the dunes. I even miss the gale force winds and stinging rain. It's a special place. Well done and thanks.
Chance has some great talent when it comes to putting it down on paper. Should be a good chapter for all of us. Enjoy the road trippin!! Cool Chilli Peppers song.
Finally made it through all of your videos and I must say that they are stunning, beautiful shots of just amazing nature scenes. Good luck with all your future adventures!
Neemor and you should open a film company. Not a chance, Carrot and Pitch would write the best scripts ever. It would be a turn of eras, like in medieval times in Florence, when somebody invented the perspectives in landscape painting. Like a Ken Loach with the commercial appeal of Spielberg and Cameron combined. And who gives a FF about Neistats new phone, when there is stuff like this around?
Hey John, I absolutely love your content brotha!! Not just the filmmaking and the hiking, but the rawness of it all. Keep up the great work my dude. You are definitely an inspiration for me to start filming my own trips. Looking to get a Pa'lante pack in the future as well. #Ultralightovereverything #Freethehip
To all you guys asking about money stuff: as Lint said in on of the John's videos, it's not about how you earn your money but what you do with it. Just don't buy stuff and you'll have money to do stuff
Freedom is nice, John. It's great being able to travel at will in such a large and diverse country like the USA. A lot of people fought and died for that. Life is good here. Enjoy it.
If you are looking for true wilderness experience in Death Valley area, check out the neighboring valleys like Saline and Eureka. May need a high clearance vehicle for Saline, but you can hike up peaks of Inyo Mountains from the east (no trails, just pick a ridge and climb 10k+ ft), as well as other surrounding desert peaks. You don't need high clearance for Eureka Valley, where you can visit Eureka Dunes.
As always, very nice. Having watched every one of your videos and followed each of your adventures near and far, my only disappointment is that I can't watch them without having my hand on the volume control. The background music is so much louder than the verbiage that I am forced to throttle the volume up and down all the way through. Just a thought, but maybe the volume of music and speech could edited to be more equal. I'd prefer to hear what you have to say without getting blasted by music in between. You know how we all hate carpal tunnel syndrome! Thanks for sharing your wonderful travels, and happy trails!
Something that is funny about this is that I was in Seattle visiting family from 11/9-11/12 and kept thinking to myself, If I spotted Izzie Zahorian out here, I would actually feel weirdly starstruck.
nope pa'lante's still happening. andrew is stationed in utah while i roam. there's a lot of computer/phone/thinking/doing time related to that that doesn't make it in these videos (yet)
KILLER STUFF John!
Hike On,
Darwin
LOVED this. Some time with no commitments can be freedom. Love the energy here.
loved chance's voice over, great stuff all around.

It's great to see you find a partner that can be your equal. Have you ever thought of hiking the Pacific Northwest Trail?
Have you ever thought of hiking any of the European trails like the e1 or e5?
Are you ever planing on hiking the northwest pacific trail?

Did you leave palante bro? Best of luck to you and chase those dreams! You've always inspired me!
