Anker SoundBuds Slim+ vs. the BEST Bluetooth Earbuds
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 вер 2024
- Anker's latest Bluetooth earbuds -- the SoundBuds Slim+ -- are taking a shot at what I found to be the best of the bunch, the Dudios Zeus. Midway through 2018, what's the best pair of Bluetooth earbuds? The answer...will shock you.
Just kidding, it's not that shocking. It's either the Dudios or the SoundBuds Slim Plus.
See my previous Bluetooth earbud comparison: • The BEST Budget Blueto...

UPDATE: I got a replacement pair of SoundBuds Slim+ -- same great sound as the first pair, and I'm happy to report the multi-function center button has normal clicking action! Seemed like a one-off defect, happy it turns out to be true.
You could have said *they behaved the same way*
Eh?
@@SuperReview sorry was talking about the slip up @9:35 it was funny how u described that
that means the middle buttom is good right?
All buttons good 👍
I just bought these earbuds because of him reviewing the anker soundbuds slim. And I must say these are the best earbuds ever. the sound is clear and the bass is there and is loud. I would recommend these earbuds.
Does this have mic? Can i use it during call or playing online games?
@@KbKabbo23 It does have a mic. And yes you can use it during a call. But the sound quality is not the best but it's a good product overall
Is this good for iOS products?
Im gonna be real i used to use these and by no means are they bad but there is not a lot of base at all
@@aldi047 yea it works for iOS
Anker makes a lot of cool stuff i have a Bluetooth speaker and a power bank both have really decent quality the speaker has the best battery ever putt on a such a tiny BT speaker it lasts 15 incredible hours at full volume .
They make good tourches too the lc-90 is great
These buds are truly great and have audio quality way above their price point. I used them every day for the past year, and they only last a bit over an hour now. Only reason i didn't drop another $30 for them was because I couldn't find any more. I'd buy them in bulk if I could
I bought these and I had problems with the USB cover and they just send me another one for free - and told me to keep both! Excellent customer service!
Noice.
@Chris Varghese where u from?
USA
Where do you buy it ?? Because in Amazon most items you have to return it .
I bought it on Amazon, but instead of contacting Amazon, I emailed Anker support via the email that is in the box. They told me that they would just send me another one and to keep the old one for my inconvenience.
Just bought these half off in the Amazon Cyber Monday deal! Thanks for the great information!
Thanks for the review man... Just purchased these... Great value for money.. Please keep the unbiased videos coming
How do you like the battery Life?
Best 22 bucks spent. Have them for 4 years now. They are so goood. Decent sound quality, great battery life and the very best build quality !
Really underrated, you make the highest quality reviews and deserve alot more recognition!
✌️
Been rocking my slim plus for a couple days now. Your review helped. It's cool how you think of almost every aspect to cover. I like how if you hold vol + and - they will disconnect from PC, then you can just connect quickly to phone. I'm getting no delay on PC with cheap $5 csr USB dongle. My mi Max 3 phone runs them in aptx and they sound even better in aptx. I recommend others to experiment with the tip sizes. A couple tips fit me, but one sounds better 👍
Just bought these thanks to you and I'm super happy with them!
Big thanks bro!
Should i go with soundbuds slim+ or soundcore spirit pro?
I got the soundbuds slim and I'm very pleased with them, don't know much about the pro doe, sorry!
@@SuperOggas Okay thanks you. In india its around $70 for soundbuds slim+. Should i buy these for $70 or is there any better alternative for $70 in india?
@@beeacreator3743 maaaan can you get them from amazon or ebay or aliexpress? They are around 25-26usd.. you can almost get three pairs of them for the price of one in indian fuk that
Watching this video because i already own an Anker SS+. Yes, great earbuds. Overall 7/10 quality (for reference the cheaper sennheisers (300$) are a 9/10).
11/10 for price range. I am beyond very satisfied with the product. About as good as you can possibly get for 30$ imo.
I thought the battery life would be a problem because i listen to audiobooks while doing manual labor, but no. It usually has two days of 'half' use (4:30 mins of continuous listening) or one full day of good use (7hrs). This gets much longer when i listen to audiobooks because the sound is usually mid range and discontinuous and a fair bit shorter if i listen to bass heavy music.
Its just enough for my needs and its only ever low power when i forget to charge it. Been using it for a good 4 months now. Not wasting my time with other products.
The wireless bluetooth and how tiny it is, the fit in the ear. Everything about it is just so well done. Perfect for gym
Nice review.
@@SuperReview you did it justice man , covered it really well and i like that you didnt jump to conclusions with the play button or let that poison the rest of the review. Felt very objective.
Subscribed, god bless
I bought the Anker Soundbuds Slim+ on Amazon ($30) because of your review. I think they are going to be just fine. These have a very good sound quality for the price of the set. Thanks for your review.
Do this have mic? Can i use it during playing pubg?
Kb Kabbo There is a mic. I’m not a gamer so maybe someone else can answer part ‘B’ of your question. However, it seems like you should be able to do it because you can listen to music on your mobile phone. So if you are playing a game on your mobile device it should work.
Good thing I’ve saw this video lol.
I was going to get a Dudios for myself as Xmas gift, however, the Anker, here in Japan is a couple bucks cheaper.
There’s also the Anker (SoundCore/SoundBuds) Spirit and Spirit X, which idk the difference, but the name sounds nice.
Awesome to know that there are so many cheap neat buds around.
Pretty crazy how good these cheap Bluetooth earbuds got.
Thanks for the great review. I will buy this.. currently RM140/unit in Malaysia.
Just Subscribed. Hard to find Quality Product Reviews. Thanks!
Thank you for your review and really highlighting the details of some of the “little things”. Really wish you could have done a bit of comparison regarding phone conversations. I have gotten feedback from some phone conversations that it was hard to hear me or I sounded too far away. It seems that most people doing reviews on Bluetooth headphones forget that people use these for phone calls too. Struggling to find some Bluetooth headphones for both music and calls while at work
Yeah I make about 2 phone calls per month. Unfortunately not my expertise.
I know this is old but I just purchased these based on your review, thanks bud!
How accurate is music?
Does it have some fake sruff going on like a skullcandy or jbl or beats might have?
Nice comparison and I have just ordered the Soundbuds.
Thank you for the concise review. I went with option 2. Will be interesting to see how they sound.
So far, so good. Really good in fact. Not overly bass heavy. I was a little worried about that. The range in excellent as well. We’ll see how they last?
@@tmbaczIt would be cool if you could update us on how they will last. Thanks!
dodo, Will do. I plan on using them at least a couple times per day while at work.
tmbacz could you update?
tmbacz how about now? They still going good??
Great video. Gonna buy the anker's.
do they last?
Ive got about 10,000 hours, yes, Ten Thousand hours, on the same pair of Anker Soundbud Slim plus. Has never failed me yet, has developed a very minor issue sometimes it disconnects, but connects right back up after switching it Off and On, and its a very rare issue. So I've definitely got my £20 worth out of it, i wouldnt suggest any other!
How do you keep track?
@@SuperReview well ive based it on my daily habits, as soon as i wake up, before i get out of bed, i put my headphones in, and they stay in, and in use until i go to sleep, charging twice a day. I have small breaks during the day, including charging time. So id average my daily use at about 12-16 hours per day. Ive owned the Soundbuds for over 2 years, i think maybe 1.5-2 years with the soundbuds slim+, and also about 1 year with the normal soundbuds slim, but i havent included that in the calculations. So if i take the average as 14 hours per day: 14*(365*2)=10,220
So about 10k hours on the same pair of Slim+, and probably 5k on the regular slim, totaling 15k on both. Both i havent even noticed any loss of battery life, or drop in sound quality. It gets cleaned twice a week with pure alcohol, because the extended use it gets dirty fast as u could imagine😂
Just ordered these earbuds and I was nervous so looking at the reviews and comments makes me feel at ease
The after market support from Anker is spot on. Got my sound buds replaced without any hesitation. The fault was the Bluetooth not auto conneting. Great product and would also give 5 stars. The only earphones that I have owned that don't fall out when I'm running.
I just a bought a pair! Thanks for a very good (honest) review:)
Great review. I think I might buy these thanks to your review.
Brilliant review. You should have more subs.
I discovered the SoundPeats Q35 thanks to you, and I honestly can't thank you enough! Awesome value for the €20 I paid for them :)
It's pretty crazy how good some of these buds are for so cheap.
I'm so gonna get this!
I just purchased this but I don't know, I am getting back to my Dudios Zeus every now and then. But you are right they are both good in terms of sound quality. Maybe I just like more the fit of my Dudios. Keep it up! Thank you!
they should include a set of foam tips along with the regular rubber\silicon ones, like jaybird does, to me that increases the value for money considerably cause i prefer foam tips far more
*You misssed 1. Meizu Ep52 and 2. Oneplus bullets wireless. The Meizu Ep52 Sound Great for my Liking, i think you should check them too*
Great review. The best wireless earphones I'm using are the Parihy Triple Driver Bluetooth earphones. The volume controls does beeps, but does have incredible sound, very comfortable and 10 hour battery.
Oh those look real interesting. I also just got some wireless cables for my KZ headphones -- different price range than Anker and Dudios, but could be awesome.
Dude! I have these earphones but I subscribed because of that Pebble 2 on your wrist toward the end of 2018. Awesome!
Pebble army :D
Just got a pair of SoundBuds today. I totally love them. Thank you for the review man! :D
can you answer calls by detaching the magnetic earbuds? what is the quality of the mic?
@@koust83 Hmm, I gotta test that... I had just 2-3 phone calls. The callers said that they hear me good :)
@@Sorin_Vovo Thanks for the quick reply. It would be very helpful if you do that test for me :-)
@@koust83 Ok, so... nothing happens by detaching the magnets (you still have to press the middle button to answer).
@@Sorin_Vovo Thank you very much for the info.
thank you! you finally made me decide for a pair =)
Excellent review bud, you’re channel is great because you don’t yell about tech thanks man
Glad to hear it :)
I got Anker soundbuds slim yesterday i am satisfied with it hopefully it will work good .
How is the sound profile on the slim +? V or flat? How harsh are the highs? How are the bass and sub bass?
Mild V, like most of these Bluetooth buds. Nothing is harsh or unpleasant, it's a pretty mainstream sound.
Which is better Anker Soundbuds Slim+ or Soundcore Spirit or Creative Outlier Sports?
Just purchased the soundbuds thanks to you bro, thnx for the "Superb" review lol
Just got them, thank you! Love them so far however I’m have some fit issues. What do you recommend? Also do they have APX?
I often wonder why Anker makes the Soundbuds slim and the Soundcore spirit, which is the one I have......can you enlighten me? Supposedly IPX8 instead of 5, Bluetooth 5.0 instead of 4.1 or 4.2 and longer battery life. However no one seems to talk about them as much as the slim or slim+. I wonder why. The Spirit X look like the best to me personally.
Looks like the Spirit are more water resistant and have longer battery 🤷♀️
Hey do you still recommend these? I can't find dudios wireless at all in the UK - I'm looking for earphones that are nice and bassy? The jaybird tarahs are on offer but they're a lot more expensive than ankers! Any help?
Yeah, these are still good, I like them better than the Jaybirds I had.
Super* Review I’m not a fan of super warm sound signatures which budget iems would you suggest? Which would be the most detailed not too bass blasted? Also possibly some well balanced detailed ? Thanks love your vides.
Had to get Anker after watching this.
Great review. Are there any mid priced earbuds that you would recommend over the Anker and the Dudios? I have a pair of JBL's that only lasted a few months and now won't hold a charge.
Anker + Dudios are my two favorites right now 👍
Very detailed review 👌
Good review. Like it. Just watch. Considering buy this Anker...
Just discovered that channel
Super crisp video bro! 👌
Thanks mate ✌️
great review. I actually bought them for my nephew today. The sound is aight, he loves my ksc75 xD
Dude, if they made Bluetooth KSC75s...
@@SuperReview they sound 100 dollars more than 15 dollars, comfy too, just ugly that I don't even care 😂 😂 tho you can get a mpow Bluetooth adapter and make them Bluetooth
@Super* Review do they sound better than KZ ES4 ? I know the KZ is wired but i have to make a choice, and im mostly interested in sound quality
Mm they sound different, but I personally enjoy ES4 sound more.
@@SuperReview Thanks for the reply. Good luck in the future. Love your work!
Does it make a difference that they're not Bluetooth 5.0? Also, between these Anker earbuds and the Zeus Ace (Looks like it's the Air but with a better case), which one would you go with? Which ones are harder to fall out of your ears? Do you notice any sound difference (bass, mids, etc.) between the earbuds with a wire or "true wireless" earbuds?
Unfortunately using the different Bluetooth versions isn't a very consistent way to know if one is better than another -- IMO, I have zero problem buying something with an older version of Bluetooth. More important is connection quality, range, and what codecs are supported, and Bluetooth 5.0 might have some advantages but not all Bluetooth 5.0 headphones have them.
I'm actually reviewing the Zeus Ace right now, they're really, really good. I haven't compared head-to-head with the Anker SoundBuds, but I expect the Ankers will have a bit better sound just because they support AptX. The Dudios Ace sound pretty solid on their own, might be hard to tell a difference. Bigger difference is the form factor.
Yoo great video ! You should wwrite down in description the link of the previous video that you were talking about
You're a genius, thank you 🙇♂️
Your amazing brother keep it up ... hope u keep the good work
Hi, can you compare it with soundbuds surge, which one has the better audio quality? Your response would be a big help.. thanks and keep on making videos like this its interesting
IMO, the SoundBuds Surge have too much bass. It's just kinda overwhelming.
I actually like the too much bass on the Surge.
I just subscribed u for this superb review!
Excellent fockin review! I especially appreciate the info about no beeping when changing volume. That's great attention to what for me is a game changer.
Great review, but can I have some questions too?
Hows the bluetooth connection? I heard that the connectivity is not good, as people complaining skip / disconnection, is it true? Also, does the bluetooth work for my phone, Redmi Note 4? Many Thanks!
No issues with the Bluetooth connection for me. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with the Redmi Note 4, but I've never used one.
Does the Anker sound buds has a noise cancelling feature? Thanks for your review btw.
Never thought having a host with a nimble hands would be such a nice thing.
So much better than all the clumsy guys stumbling their way across stuff lol
Cheers man
Ha ha, what was nimble?
Only bluetooth headphones I buy. So reliable.
Have been using mine for 5 years.
🤯
the issue with these headphones and many in-ear wireless headphones is that the earpiece needs to be insterted quite deep into ear canal to actually stay fitted, and also due to the thinner shorter wingtips- not as good a fit as the stayhear tips of bose sie and sounsport range.
I would like to see a comparison between Anker and Aukey.
Why Aukey?
@@SuperReview Because there have been some very good reviews about them, Aukey ep-b40. They are well known for affordable price point yet deliver decent performance, kinda similar to Anker.
@@SuperReview I've purchased the Aukey ep-b40 based on various positive reviews and can highly recommend them. I'm sure most people would value your review from this manufacturer. My only gripe is that the controls are mounted on one side which imbalances the cables and becomes annoying - I need to readjust the cables. However the Anker Soundbuds you've reviewed looks like they will suffer from a similar problem?
Nigel Morgan Yeah pretty much all of these style of Bluetooth headphones have either (a) the cable on one side, or (b) a neckband. Pick your poison.
Hello @Super* Review
; i want to ask a question about something that i find to buy: QCY M1 Pro bluetooth earbuds ? do you recommend it? i did little seaarching about it and users are verry happy... i know its depends to users how good that is but features are very good and cheap and aptx codec it has. and 10 mm neomagnets drivers! Anyway you know better and i am waitng:D thanks again
gorkem acikgoz I haven’t heard them, but the auto-power-on feature looks pretty useful. The buds look a bit bulky.
I've had two sets of anker headphones (lost the first set overboard - gutted). The battery life is great - and I can walk around my steel boat leaving my phone inside and they continue to play until I get off the boat which is about 40ft and only lose connection as I head off down the pontoon. I think I have the sport version. Previously I had a cheaper set and it was a false economy. Poor sound, battery life terrible, fell out all the time and they would immediately lose connection if I didn't keep the phone handy. Only good thing was they had magnet to keep them safe around my neck and would stick to hull of boat. Also have Anker power bank and solar charger. All great and I think value for money.
Do you remember the brand of the cheap one?
hello, thank you for your great reviews;
which Anker earbuds would u suggest? life, lite or slim+?
thanks,
Slim+ are the only one of those I've heard. I like the Slim+ better than the Surge.
If I got a dollar for every time he says "Anker Soundbuds Slim+" I'd get them for free.
Good review though.
How would you compare with kz as10 you also reviewd? (they have a bluetooth module)
The KZ Bluetooth module isn't very good, unfortunately. I did a review of it. ua-cam.com/video/Ny5JjjXFIbM/v-deo.html
@@SuperReview thanks
I remember reading that the plus has a slightly longer tether
Can you do a review about aukey latitude and do a comparison with the anker soundbud slim+?thanks
Awesome! I'm thinking if getting either the Anker ones or the wired Symphonized NRG 3.0. Could you perhaps do a review? Thanks!
Holy moly, that's a lot of Amazon reviews for the Symphonized -- I hadn't heard of them before just now. I added 'em to my list, but not sure when I'll be able to review them. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hey bro. Sadly these are no longer on Amazon.. do u happen to have an idea of a website where I can get either of them? This is a need. Please respond when u can.
The slim plus has more battery life
Nice review, i think ill get one, but i already have a KZ ZS10, how do they compare ? if they are as good as the KZ's ill get it for the convenience of the bluetooth.
Pretty big difference between these and the ZS10. ZS10 is cleaner sound throughout, more punch, though I think the lower mids are a bit more recessed. Much better sub-bass on the KZs. The Ankers + Dudios fit my ears way better :p
I do not recommend its purchase under any circumstances, the product Spirit Pro has a failure that makes the sound of one of the channels stop being heard.
A few weeks after purchasing these earphones the sound stopped being heard through one of the earbuds, I returned them to the store where I had purchased them and they provided me with new ones. After four weeks the same thing happened again, it stopped being listened to by one of the channels and when continuing to use them, after some time you can practically no longer hear the sound. I contacted Anker's technical service and they did not answer me because they say that the product had been purchased from a supplier and not directly from them.
Money lost in a product that is apparently robust and with a great sound but has a problem in its design
Thanks for the personal experience report.
Very useful review! With important details thanks a lot
I bought slim+ and one biggest weakness for me is not compatible with Skype for business mic works but speaker in silence.
did you hear about the Anker soundbuds spirit ?
it look exactly like the slim+
but what's difference in sound quality?
also its water resistant
Nope, I haven't used those.
I bought these because of your review using your link but i had problem when playing video on UA-cam (any video on internet) Audio doesn't synchronise with Video . Is that normal? Or how to fix this ?
Sorry, that's pretty normal with Bluetooth.
does anyone know how to skip tracks using the anger wireless headphones?
The ones in this video, you press and hold on the volume button.
This or fhe awei 8?
I haven't heard those.
Im interested in this earbud. Do you think there are any other Bluetooth earbuds that perform just as well within the same price range? I have no knowledge with earbuds, no idea which company is good so any suggestions would be appreciated ^_^ .
Ankers and the Dudios.
how is the best? Wavefun xpods 3 or Anker SoundBuds Slim help ?
i have a really big questin: is the link down below the link that you buyed, and is it save to buy from amazon??

What your top choice soundpeats q12 plus vs dudios zeus plus vs anker sound slim plus
Are anker sound buds flow good for running/does cable moving and wind make noise and lowers the quality of music like on many headphones?
I haven't taken them running, but I don't expect it'd affect the sound quality. They come with a little clip that you can use to cinch the cable behind your head so there's not much to move around.
Hi ive seen Ur reviews and im wondering that any of that Bluetooth headphones can answer calls from facbook or whatsapp by press a button? instead pres a button at phone...

Sorry, I don't know.
Tronsmart encore flair has 12hr battery,IP56 and support QC aptx
"Hair clip" lol
I have very small ears and most earbuds hurt my ears when they're too big...so which one would you say fits the best for maybe smaller ears?
Hm, the two in this video are virtually identical in size. The Dudios did come with a lot more options for eartip sizes, though, which could help .
Anyone how are these compared with the isoun bt 250 ones???
Please did you check the mic quality? I need to by anything that has very good quality mic and I dont care if its ear bud or over head headphone ... hope u reply ... thanx bud
Sorry, I haven't checked the mic. Frankly I don't make phone calls often.

Does it make any difference?
Definitely i lovr MEMORY foam tips
Somebody knows why both of them are not conecting just only one?
Against the MPow Flame 2, do you think these are better??
Dunno, sorry.
Have you tested the Anker SoundCore line? I am not sure what the differences are between SoundBuds vs SoundCore.
I thought the SoundCore was a Bluetooth speaker.
@@SuperReview thanks for the quick reply! Love your review btw. SoundCore has a number of earbuds, the Spirit, Spirit Pro and Spirit X. I'm not sure if the SoundCore is any better than the Soundbuds.
How are they now?
I'm ordering mine from you link on Amazon but i read a lot of negative reviews on it
"One side is a dead or battery drain fast and so on"
So did you face any problems like these
I had an issue with the button action on mine, and got it replaced. Since then, no issues. But yeah, it sounds like there might be common QC issues on the Ankers. Dudios might be a more consistent choice?
