Papered Brazilian Rosewood… it has papers to show it is legally sourced so if people travel with it, it won’t be confiscated.
I tried several sets of String Joy. They dont work for me. Il stick with D'Adario XS. I have a friend that loves them. Each to his own I guess, lol.
My granddaughter got a Yamaha FS800 for last Christmas. I changed out the nut, saddle and bridge pins for bone. Man it sounds fantastic for a cheaper guitar. Yamaha make quality instruments at all prices.
@anthonylane9547 I do that for a local school's fund raiser for parents to get a good starter guitar. I would call it inexpensive instead of cheap because the build is consistent, sounds good for the price point, and is relatively easy to play. I try to have one or two of these "campfire" guitars around to get them played a bit. They sound better in 3-4 months of playing. Say, buy one other Small Business Saturday sale (after Thanksgiving), and it will be ready to go by March.

Corey, what flat pick and thickness were you using playing the Bedell? You have great dexterity and finger stretch ability along with great transition and jazz oriented chords.
Ugh, re Atkins relic’d guitar! Awful!
