Making the Keurig K Compact Coffee Maker and K Cup Reusable Filter Work Together

- I bought the Keurig K Compact coffee maker from Amazon for quite a bargain and added a K Cup reusable coffee filter, but had no idea how to put them together out of the box. There were no explicit tutorials or articles about it. The manuals didn’t help. So before throwing either of the two out and buying something else to put one on the other, here are the steps to make them work together to make some great coffee.
If you can actually afford a Plus series, it might be a better purchase. As a semi-review, I found the buzz sound of the K Compact heating and dispensing the water distracting. Also, you will have no option on how strong you want your brew to be. It’s one preset of “strong”. I bought a bag of medium SB coffee beans and it was pretty strong for me.

Helped me a lot. I damn near returned mine but broke the screen trying to force it. THEN i saw your video and did it the right way. Guess I'll have coffee fragments in my brew for a while.
I just bought the Keurig Slim & with this new My K Cup in the K Slim do not use adapter. It fits semi snugly. However, I just discarded my old Keurig from 2013 & the old My K Cup fits nice & snug & closes well! I haven’t tried any yet, as K Slim came with K cup coupon. Jeanne
I'm glad I found this video.. I almost returned this K-Cup filter.... Instructions that came with this product was written by an idiot with his feet!!!!! It fits well when you remove the bottom part with that handle...works great now on my Keurig K-Compact, thanks man!!!!!

Does anyone have a trick to get an actual strong cup of coffee out of this thing? Even 8 ounces is watered down coming out of this Keurig.
Stronger coffee
I use CAFE BUSTELO. The package says it's for espresso but it is the perfect strength for Keurig.
It's sold at walmart and most grocery stores.
