Enjoy your videos, helpful for the diy'er , I worked on most 60s 70s bmc vehicles as an apprentice mechanic at Kennings, the gaiters will fit round rack if warmed and lubricated, twisting round a little at a time. If refitting old track rods ends, count the amount of turns it takes to remove, then count turns when refit. Your moggie looks very tidy, I particularly like your wiring and electrical videos, very neat work.
It is always easy when you have the right tools to hand! I had to replace my steering rack for my traveller when converting to LHD. Unfortunately the new ones are made sealed and cannot be topped up! However, when I had to replace a gaitor I used red grease ( which was prevalent in the unit already) packed in as much as possible. Love your videos, already copied some on my car, even though it is clear you do not know what you are doing ( irony intended! )
She was fully restored about 12 years ago with new wood, all rusted areas replaced, respray etc. That was just before I bought her. In my ownership she’s been fitted with a Marina 1275, stage 2 head, fast road cam, LCB, Toyota T50 5 speed box, van wheels, vertical shocks, ARB, full race half shafts, front discs, plus various electrical mods as per this channel. Thanks for your interest.
@@jodiethemorrisminortraveller That's cool, you should put all of that into a walk-around video shoing the various mods etc. I had assumed it was all bog standard of course as it looks that way from the outside, beautiful thought it is.
Always look forward to your videos. Thank you.
Glad you like them!

It would be nice to get some history on your Minor, was it extensively restored etc.

I might do that when I have time. She’s what they call restomod. Brought up to date but looks stock.
