I’ve watched most of your videos. I really admire your work and your calm methodical approach. You are a great teacher! Thank you, I have found your stuff very helpful and informative 👍
Thank you very much for your very clear 2 part video on the dashboard refurbishment. On my 1965 4 door saloon, I need to fit a 3 position wiper switch (for my home made intermittent wiper timer), a hazard light switch, a rear screen heater switch and a new speedo cable. This video really helps me see how to access everything. Cheers
Thanks for the video, well made, came parity good, 2 Morris minor I have one 4 doors and 2 doors I restore by my self, and still have it both of them, ❤️
Excellent video. I notice your heater demist hoses are in a poor state and one barely attached to the screen nozzle. Personally, I would find a heater that worked properly more of a priority than beautification. Maybe a heater overhaul is an idea for a future video? I am about to do mine with a new matrix, a motor overhaul, new foam seals and new air hoses. They are 1 1/4 inch by the way. Best Wishes, Stephen
Hi Jodie. I’ve a question. Is it difficult to convert a late model dashboard to a pre-1962 style ? With removal of centrepiece, and changing of glovebox covers? Thanks!
Best not to have other keys on the same ring as the ignition key anyway as the swinging weight of the other keys eventually wears out the ignition key or the barrel potentially causing the lock to fail to work which can render your car inoperative. My mechanic told me off for doing just that.

Another great, well made, informative video. I love the tip regarding the wooden peg 🤔 and the approach to keeping hands off your new chrome 😂

And locks period I just painted the s in black gloss 👍
That’s a great tip. Thanks!
Matching the wooden clothes peg...such a stickler for perfection.
Well, if you’re going to do it...
Perfect!

It depends what you consider to be difficult. It can be done, but I wouldn’t call it trivial.
Jodie is the car btw. I’m Brian.
who still sells the turning indicator switch ? EMS or Moss ?
ESM has them. Probably Moss too, but I don’t know for sure.

Just out of interest, how much would I expect to pay for chroming of these?
