I'm making this this weekend. Mainly because ground beef has got crazy expensive and I can still get brisket at $3.99 a pound at costco. I used to make brisket burgers just as a treat now and then as the extra work of grinding wasn't worth it, now its going to be the norm to save some money.

I so appreciate all the videos. I have smoked your pulled ham, brisket, pulled pork, pig shots a few times and others. All of them make me look like a genius. Thank you and keep em coming....

From ethnic Grandma for making sausage, use a slice of stale bread to push out the remnants for the next grind, doesn't affect quality

This is how I make brisket burgers. The key in my mind is the temp you pull them, so juicy and flavorful. No direct heat needed.

😄😄😄 "Save the brisket......trimmings" . Since brisket is currently cheaper than ground beef, I'll pick up a packer at Costco, trim it a bit, and grind the rest up for burgers, tacos, meatloaf, etc.

These look delicious, I’m making them this weekend with my brisket trimmings! Only thing I’ll change is toasting the bun!

Delicious I actually do that use the trimmings for burgers and make beef fat out of the fat

Darn fine burger there! Throw on some pickled okra slices and maybe a garden tomato slice, and I'd be in Heaven.

I found it best to refrigerate you beef patties after you grind them so the have a chance to bind for at least 6hours but I’m not trying to tell a master chef how to cook lol it’s just a suggestion try it you will approve!

I found after grinding the meat let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours and the meat binds together better but I’m not trying to tell a master chef how to cook it’s just a suggestion

I need to find some trimming videos. I don't have that much coming off my briskets. But I want to do this. A lot.

Just decide on how much you need for your next burgers and "trim" as needed :)

That is nothing more than a smoked burger. Being as the meat came from a brisket doesn't make it taste any different than a regular ground beef burger

Better job on the makeup than the cook. Literally go direct heat.
