So for me, breaking 100 points is a better achievement than going undefeated. To win as many games as possible, you're going to have to play more offensive football which inevitably will lead to some games where the opposition gets a lucky break and manages to hold onto a lead.
They won the league, that was the point. No massive money involved, just a pure class team. Those 100 points were literally bought with the oil money. City were nowhere near the Big 4 decades ago, before the money came in. That’s why people aren’t even bother about their trebles

I had to sit down and really think about what 100 points mean... That's literally 33 games won at the very least, leaving 5 games to win 1 draw, making it so you only lose 4 games in a while season. It's insane. Going unbeaten is also impressive, but there's a difference between not losing and winning... They drew a lot and sacrificed other competitions. Great team nonetheless. I somehow feel that Liverpool run is still underrated and will be forgotten by many for how they barely missed so many accolades to a ridiculous City.
