I did not know about the weighted ones, very cool.
My son uses the tommee tippee transition cup. It has a regular bottle nipple and then one shaped like a sippy cup. He started using the latter at 6 months. He just picked that sucker up and started holding it himself from the handles like it was nbd. He is 6.5 months now and has 7 teeth so he really loves to drink and teethe on the top.

@Susan Yara @ So many times I have watched a review video and 5 minutes later I'm complaining the reviewer needs to just get to the review!!! I know that seems petty but if I watch 5 videos cross referencing information on just sippy cups that is 25 minutes of my time that is wasted...... I love the miracle 360 cups too. My 2 year old toddler loves straws, and the ones from Target are her current favorite. She likes Contigo Stainless Steel with a straw too. Living in Florida I always have a water bottle that keeps water cold, and she usually likes to mimick or steal my water.

I was just searching for sippy cup recommendations and saw your video! Just in time! Love your videos Susan! Always so informative! We currently use lollacup and my 11mo took to that from the start but it's very bulky with the handles and the straw stains easily.

Can you put milk in the straw sippy cups?? My daughter (12 months old) can drink out of the Dr. Browns weighted sippy cup. But I've only given her water in it because idk if the milk is too thick for the straw. Thanks for any insight!!

Take and Toss also has a non straw version which my baby likes to drink water or milk from. He loves the hydro flask but will only drink water from it.

Hey Susan have you tried the pura kiki sippy cups ? or the kleen Kanteen? I try to be as plastic free with my son and I would love to know if nikash at his age would enjoy that kind or not
Check out the silicone stretch lids! They fit over a to of cups and I can take them to restaurant or other peoples houses! Have you all started to potty train? My little one is two now and I am both dreading and looking forward to it. 😆
Needed this! My baby just turned 1 and we are transitioning, have tried so many cups...she wouldn't use the trainers either and milk and water had to be given in separate cups

I use the 360 for water and juice..it only leaks when it falls..I don’t experience leaks when it’s tilted .. I really can’t decide which sippy cup for milk.. she’s 9 months would like to switch by 1 yr

Be aware there are actually 3 pieces to the 360. Sh stated there are only 2 pieces but the rubber in the cover needs to come out for cleaning, if its not cleaned mold will develop!!!
What is the brand for the first straw cup you mentioned in the video? The one where you talk about the little ones chewing and sucking makes the water flow... My 15 month old always chews straws...

With that first munchkin cup you can take that blue rubber insert out to make it easier to clean.

Hi Susan, I know you made this video 2 years ago, but i am only now a first time mom and absolutely love watching and learning from your videos . I really wanted to know what the name or brand of the 3rd sippy cup you showed, the one you said only a baby could drink from because they had to chew and suck in order to get the liquid to come up . I believe you wrote infant sippy cup but that lead me no where but to every sippy cup for an infant lol.
Ironically I read through, EVERYONE else asked the same question as me and got no real response. Please it would really help. My beautiful baby girl just made 3 months yesterday so I really wanted to prepare for her.

Fullof_Fancy Hi! We still give Nikash a bottle in the morning, but we’re planning to get him off it by two. We started giving him sippy cups around 6 months and moved him to one sippy of milk a day around 1. 👍
My son is about to turn 13 months and he just started drinking from cups. Don’t worry about it too much and keep offering it to him.
Follow feeding littles on insta, Facebook, and their website. They teach from a dietician and OT feeding specialist perspective. They teach to use soft straw cups, 360 cups, and open cups. They teach that you should not use cups that require a bite to get the liquid out.
