Robert's problem is due to scarring from surgery he got for polyps in the mid to late 70's... they really botched it and that's why he sounds so different towards the end of Zeppelin.
Can someone do the surgery in order to change the tone of their voice from baritone to tenor or from bass to baritone . Let’s say one was born with really deep voice , can you do surgery to make it a little higher to a tenor or countertenor tones?

I need him too my vocal cords dont come together n ive been doing vocal exercises for past 10 yrs but irregularly in my own supervision, theres definitely a lot of improvement but it's far from a normal voice when it comes to singing. I feel like a runner athlete aspirant with a broken leg 😞
I got strangled and my voice isn't the same. My range is totally ruined so I'm looking into surgery. Singing is my entire career...this is devastating.
