That should tell you they’re not biased because they helped neither child! The white pol on the other hand helped just the white girl which in reality is the saddest of them all because you have to help ppl regardless of whatever they have in common with you! They didn’t help the Black girl because she’s not white like they are and this shows racism more. What we have:
      - The black girl is not that much taller, the camera is just more zoomed in on her.
      - Her pose is almost identical to that of the white girl.
      - People of any race not approaching the girl can be chalked up to the general business of the street. But only white people flocked to the white girl as possibly in need of help. That says a lot more about how white people are tuned to help their own color. Whether that is good or bad, I'd have to learn more about experiment. the society we live is built off preconceived notions of race, that impacts everyone no matter if you're black or white.

    A couple of points here.
    1. This appears to be in Latin America, blond hair stands out a lot more than brown hair so it draws more attention, and seeing a small blond child that looks like a foreigner makes you instantly think she might be lost.
    2. Not a single person of color stopped for either girl. It is actually quite common for young kids to be alone on the streets in many countries and this girl probably looked local so didn’t alarm anybody.
Context is super important, don’t jump to conclusions without knowing any of the details. Not saying racism doesn’t exist because of cause it does, just saying you tend to find what you are setting out to see, whether it’s there or not.

If a Black man were to approach either girls he would be accused of kidnapping them! Black women wont approach the black child because they’re mother might be lurking somewhere and pull up saying “whatchu talking to my child for”! If a black woman also approached a black child Karen’s will accuse her of racism ! That’s the wider picture ! Think before you type!

-Some people might be rushing to catch a train, bus, etc. so they can’t stop to help.
-The girls could’ve been far away from each other so the ppl that helped the white girl possibly didn’t know about the black girl.
-The black girl looked older and seemed to be waiting for somebody or something.
-The white girl looked like she was a bit scared, overwhelmed, etc. and seemed physically tense.
-There could have been a lot of people that helped the black girl, but just got cut off.
-This isn’t racism, it’s people minding their own business.
-Some whites get yelled at for trying to help black children. (Then again, some blacks get yelled at for trying to help white children). You know what I mean.

This is actually a very specific type of racism. Most of the time black children are definitely seen as more mature than they actually are. As a result people are less likely to system even though they are children just like their counterparts. Regardless of how much older you thought that first child was there's no way that that child appear to be more than nine years old. I would never ignore a child that seems to be alone that's under the age of 12. Infected my personal life I have approached even older looking teenagers if they seemed to be lost to out-of-sorts.
Also this specific type of racism is one of the reasons that black children have such a tough time in the school systems in the United States as well. And just to be clear, it's not about the persons who are seeing them in a certain way being a specific race. Cause this is something that's very systemic and institutionalized all people tend to have this reaction when it comes to black children. it's not just like a white thing or non black thing

They were moved the number of children living in poverty that they decided to smuggle some of them in the church buses back to the US. They took pictures while they were there and I noticed a few of the children looked white. When the youth group came back to the US, I noticed that they only smuggled the children who looked white and left the dark skinned children behind. I remember being one of two white kids in 2nd grade elementary school in Dayton, Ohio, and riding the bus by myself, getting dropped off not close to my house at all, navigating home, dropping off my backpack and leaving again to go to the library to get my snail stamps for reading books. When I filled my stamp chart, I got to rent a VHS from the library. I saw Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2👻, Gremlins, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, TMNT2, Home Alone and Rambo. I always knew where I was, where I was supposed to be, and knew exactly what I had to do to get what I want. Growing up wasn't easy, but if it was, I wouldn't be where I am now. Racism contributed 0% into my life. I regret nothing. On that note, I'm gonna go ahead and marry outside my race in a foreign country right now, and nobody can stop me.

Calling anything and everything racist, is doing a disservice and is somewhat of a disgrace, to humain dignity. I just watched the movie, HACKSAW RIDGE, nothing is as assumed, what you THINK you see, can be and often is, total foolishness; but we thought it was, we thought we were, correct..because, it 'looked like snow.' Pondering deeper, It was only a mirage, and they're everywhere, if you let them..!? The standard of examination can probably be shown to be lacking, like numbers, they never lie!
We can see this, being played-out-daily, just by looking at the political climate, as peoples of all walks of life, taking sides, when many HAVE NEVER counted the numbers !? Trans-exposed into an other sphere or into an other discipline, it may be judged as...being totally pathetic or at the very least, misdiagnosed ! Yes, it can be, 'artificial snow,' while been shown or led to believe, it was The real McCoy! Do-you-get-it !?

Also, the first girl's hair is in a high ponytail adding much more height AND she has more weight. She definitely appears older and more mature (minimum of 2 years) than the second. Bro age doesn’t matter, I remember once waiting for my dad to pick me up. I was about thirteen at that time. People asked me why was I standing there and if I need help. Had they cared they would have asked no matter the age.

Yep, it tell us a lot about how we were taught to look down on our own people ...we were taught to be white, NOT to be proud of ourselves and our own brothers and sisters. Black people were treated NOT as human beings, but ad PEOPERTY, a depersonalization that lasted centuries. It's also telling when another colored person has to educate ignorant folk about the history of the country he/she loves in.

Who’s racist? The color that helped a child or the color that couldn’t be bothered to help anyone?
