Also, isn't the point of Geography now supposed to be long and informative? I think the Russia and American Episodes are great considering how much information they put on there. Not to mention there is so much that a country you can mention food, nature, natural geography, political geography, the many cultures the country has (also immigration in the country or the situation of it's refugees), I'm only listing a few here. I think the US's flag is well designed for the most part but how the 50 stars are aligned always kind of annoyed me as they aren't in rows of five but that's a minor gripe. But yeah it certainly is overused but on the other hand there are many who love the flag and some like to demonstrate it to others.

Then if you can get that right, the configuration of the stars is hard to get to line up in the alternating rows and columns.
yeah but when half of europe's flags are just pallet swaps of the same three tricolor or bicolor patterns, it's at least distinct. I can never tell when I'm looking at Russia's Luxemborg's, or the Netherlands' flag

Actually I am personally pretty content that the videos are longer, it is a pity that this was not the case in the beginning as there a few countries which could have their food, sports, culture, music, etc. segments as well. But hey, we all improve each day so big up for the great work!

I rewatched the Afghanistan video the other day and OMG how much you’ve grown! Your videos are longer because your content is greater and it’s just the way it is. I cried in the beginning after the intro when you showed your mom. What a beautiful way to open our country’s video. And it was just long enough. People are rude. Why can’t they just watch a video and appreciate it or live on? Rude.
I’ve been watching your videos for years and I’ve noticed and appreciate just how much more in-depth they’ve become. Generally speaking, I find that an organized video with clearly defined segments makes skipping around a viable way to still enjoy in small bits an otherwise long video. Perhaps reminding the viewer that they *have* the option to skip through without missing anything crucial to enjoying the video would reduce the complaining about its length (it also subtly hints that how they feel about a long video is *their* problem and not yours).

The fun insight you bring to all the subjects you cover in each episode is not found elsewhere. The way you go about covering things is done in SUCH a captivating and respectful way.

I feel like country videos are a repository of all the info you need about a country, and including every aspect of a country is very crucial for the video to not be a narrated factsheet. I would just spent just a little less time sports/music/dance because I want to know more about the day to day life, culture and most importantly the brief geographical/historic/cultural information about the major cities in that country! From your videos we get a good idea about the country as a whole, and from provincial videos we get to know about the provinces, but most people don't know what the difference is between major cities in the country. For a foreigner, Las Vegas and New York city may seem the same because they're flashy, or they could know absolutely nothing about what the difference between Mumbai and Delhi is, or have no idea about the history of European cities...

The USA-your home country as well as mine deserves a long episode. It was done well and always things to include like so on flag fan day Friday. It was a great presentation; but there are a lot of great English speaking cowboy’s. I think most of the world understands that stereotype and that there are a variety of peoples in The USA.

Try mixing soda water and fresh pressed fruit juice ( 3:1 ) for your mom. It will satisfy the craving for pop. Here in Europe its called a shorle and is quite popular.

I have always felt that the US has a beautiful flag. It's a bit busy, and red, white, and blue, are a bit overused. But its such an iconic design.

I love the videos and how they have developed, maybe you could make a flag/ fan Friday of countries that didn’t get one like Australia or Belgium with extra information about the countries.
for those the flags are shown with in the main video. would be odd to do them twice.

I love your longer videos, the is so meticulous work on them. In fact, i believe it to be a good idea after you have finished with all the countries, you could start from the beginning and remaster your older videos with more extensive research and detail.

About regions within the US, are you familiar with the book "The Nine Nations of North America" by WashPost reporter Joel Garreau? It matched your breakdown of regions in part, but also differed.
