I personally feel the visual analogy would have been closer to reducing the saturation or the something equivalent to reducing the range of visible ligh. Where can i find your desktop background
Opera GX :)
@@Onepeg What do you mean unless you mean searching for it
I'm actually just using earplugs, with my normal volume level in-game (max). Something I'm used to at work is lots of noise. I've been performing pretty well, been trying out two different sets so far. I thought it might have hindered my gameplay, but it actually hasn't.
Can someone explain what he meant about modifying the exe file.
HOLD UP saying i should be turning back on my islc program for tarky?? ive had it disabled for longest time
The best vid title ive seen in a while. Lmao
Compressor is more like colorblind mode then texture hax
If any third party software can be used is it only consensus that makes an aimbot cheating?
says my pc isnt compatible w nahimic :/ any way around this or alternative app
When I turn on loudness equalization it makes ambience sounds and stuff alot louder. Im using steel series arctis pros
Sure does :)
Thanks for vid! Used SoundLock to save my ears from loud gunshots without messing with any other sounds (well, from my understanding)
Also, can I ask, what earcups you use with your ATH?
explain how using discord overrides any limitations?
Another great video
The same people use Discord instead of talking in VOIP so that people can't hear them communicating in game. DISGUSTING
I personally feel the visual analogy would have been closer to reducing the saturation or the something equivalent to reducing the range of visible ligh. The increasing brightness would not convey the aspect of "compressing higher volumes" as it sounds like the brightness analogy it wouldn't be too different from just blasting the sound.
I got a headphone with a little soundboard buuuut i can use Realtek, and i dont know each one use because with the soundboard i play around 50% volume and its a little loud, but without i play at 100% and feels good but sometimes need more volume.
If audio compression is cheating then so is using a mouse with more that has more than 3 buttons
The analogy makes no sense .
@@JSlizzo you are right, the audio compression software is free and more buttons on a mouse costs money. So audio compression is fair while a 3+ buttoned mouse is not
I love you so much. Thank you for your service to this community
Any alternatives for Nahimic? It isn't supported on all devices and drivers, such as mine.
Audio technica has something but it’s not freeware
Light Service? Will not let my games run. What is this anyway?
Big respect for making this video
i use the roughrider plugin for equalizer APO, it basically prevents sound from going past a certain level and my ears love it. i used to get jumpscared by gunshots even off in the distance. the baseline sound isnt much louder than before because if it was i would go deaf. if anyone says its cheating they have 2 digit IQ
Has anyone else used the steelseries sonar software? When I upgraded from my arctis 3s to the wireless version tarkov was the only game that sounded strange, so I decided to tinker with it & I think I got a good sound now.. just not too sure if its 'compressed' or not.
i feel like the people who say that audio compression is cheating are the same people who said that post-fx is cheating too. I'm sorry if I don't want to aggravate my tinnitus any further by limiting how loud gunshots are in the games. /s
That thing they banned using third party software for? Odd comparison to make
@@tompeters5903 No, that thing the added as full on feature into the game you dingleberry.
@@tompeters5903 no one got banned for using post fx LMAO, they added the feature to the game. What world are you living on ?
@@tompeters5903 are u for real? Lmao no one get banned for using nvidia pannel control
As part of the ToS, BSG should also publish a list of allowed monitors. Surely someone on a 32" ultra wide would have a large advantage over someone on a 19" CRT. :p
There at a disadvantage to much real estste to cover went from 32 inch to 27 made a huge difference
@@brett8445 I agree, I used a 34" switched to 27"
Guy at BSG is like, "Write this down and add it all, except the sound compression."
WTB a video on how you setup your audio compressor and why you chose the settings you did.
Everyone's ears, headphones, mixers and audio in general are different.
This was such a detailed video, perfect in fact!nice job
Onepeg I love your videos, the Tabias part almost killed me
anyone have a suggestion on how to set this up with voicemeeter banana? I tried it and got popping and crackling audio
